Good morning all
I am finally feeling like myself today. Passed on yesterday's plans, though - muscles were tired and lower back achy. Going out later shopping the stores with a friend, so that will be my reintroduction to 'movin' for today.
I'm thinking about taking out a 6-mos membership at a gym not too far away. It's the one where I had the 1-week pass. Now that I've been more active, I see that I do like a variety of things and it would be nice to have 'gym' in my rotation...I could go 2 or 3 times a week and it would be OK.
novangel, you know you are doing excellent with your dedication to your work-outs; you keep at them even though they're tough and it is paying off; even if 'behind the scenes' and not on the scale right now. It's true, from what I've read, that 3,500 excess calories will result in a pound of fat. Honestly, I think I can do that during a 'bad' weekend
Exercise, on the other hand, builds muscle, revs up the metabolism, strengthens bone, keeps blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol in check, and boosts mood, memory, and cognitive function.





And justifies us buying cool looking footwear. (new signature?)
