Happy weekend to you ladies!! Made it through another week, on plan and going strong. Although sadly, I think I may be coming down with the stomach bug that had my co-teacher out for 3 days this week. Came home from work early today feeling very nauseous and just
blah. Hoping that an early bedtime tonight and lots of downtime this weekend will knock it out of my system. I plan to spend much of this weekend applying to jobs in actual public schools (my current Pre-K class is in a childcare center) for the fall. I got my teaching credential in college & really want to be working in the exact field I spent all that time (and money!) preparing for. I just hate the application process, though - so many things to fill out!
Exhale - That "food monster" is a sneaky little devil, I have to agree. Especially (at least for me) once I've had one treat/off plan snack, I find it really hard to stop myself. The "simply filling" method sounds like a great way to encourage yourself to eat a better diet in general, and you won't have to worry too much about being hungry - just fill up on those whole, natural foods! Have fun with your yoga challenge - I'm very much looking forward to hearing how it goes for you.
PhillyGirl - Thanks for the heads up on JM's workouts being on sale. I ordered 30DS and Ripped In 30 and they should be here by Tuesday. To be honest, I'm really apprehensive about starting 30DS, because I know how frustrated I get when not able to complete a workout. And from what I hear, 30DS can be INTENSE. We'll see how it goes! btw, Good for you for getting up and doing the Body Pump workout. Don't you love how motivating social networking can be? Enjoy those kale chips this weekend ... I've never heard of them! Can't wait to hear how they turned out.
novangel - You've made such awesome progress! Those before and after pics are extremely inspiring - definitely one of the reasons I plan on getting my butt into gear to do 30DS. I know it's hard to be patient regarding seeing results, but you will get to your ultimate goal! Hang in there.
Angelsmom - Hope those knees aren't giving you too much trouble! A break for them was probably a good idea. And another pound lost?! You're on a roll, sister.
