Got in 40 minutes of Jillian (L1 and L3) to make up for missing last night. My thighs are rock solid...I swear she's toughest on the legs more than anything. I can't wait to pick up Ripped In 30 on Wednesday.

It's almost June, let's get moving!!

I think the day off is throwing me off a bit. I literally lost track of what day it actually was yesterday. I got to work at 7:30am if you can believe that. I had to drop my mommie off and because of the heat I ended up driving to work. Definitely on the agenda after work is to do my workout.

Remember I was reading Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto? Well on his website is a summer challenge and I joined it. Talk about being thrown into the deep end of the pool...lol. I'm both scared and excited. The challenge is interesting because its broken down into individual teams of 5 members. A team must have 5 members. If a member drops out of the team the team loses. Kind of all for one, one for all. I've never been involved in a challenge like that so this will be interesting.

exhale, another uncomfortable day for us. That's interesting that you are NOT paying attention. I find I must because often even when I think I'm doing ok when I put the numbers in I'm often over my goal.

Gabi, the legs are the money makers and gets the heart rate up. In my Les Mills body pump program they kill on the legs too. I develop very quickly though so I tend to not use a lot of weight.

Off to do some work at work...lol

I got in about 45 minutes of strength work this afternoon, exhausted now. I'm planning to try for some kind of cardio tomorrow.

I'm also going to take a stab at the Leangains method for Intermittent Fasting to see how it works with getting my weight moving again. (I'm a few pounds above my ticker weight, won't know how much until TOM leaves.) Which really just means I'll only eat during an eight hour period each day (planning for 11 to 7).

Managed to get in L3 before bed. I'm wiped after a long day at work too. Tomorrow I pick up Ripped In 30!

Goodnight.

bunneh, I looked up Leangains because I didn't know what it was. It seems like an interesting concept.

novangel, I acquired ripped in 30, never did it though. I imagine you'll probably have good results from it.

exhale, the weather has broken...yay!

Last night I did my body pump workout. My pecs are sore today. Even though there are many squats/deadlifts my legs are not sore mainly because I went shallow most of the time. I felt queasy afterwards though. It wasn't a hunger thing and I'm in air conditioning so I'm not sure why I was feeling that way. I did have a sinus headache and worked out in spite of it. Normally I would have blown it off but I pushed on.

Will post today's workout later. I feel like burning some major calories...hmm, what should I do?

Philly Strength work can make me feel queasy/light headed too, and Body Pump is very fast moving so I notice it more after those videos than some others. Sometimes I will pause a video and take an extra 30 seconds to a minute rest walking around or marching in place to focus on breathing, it usually helps a lot. Good job on getting through it!

Today I'm planning for step aerobics, probably Seasun Zieger's Straight Up Step video.

I was 159 this morning, but I still might lose a bit more as TOM tapers off. So I'm about 3 or 4 pounds above my ticker weight. I want to get to 152 for my birthday (Sept 25th). Seven pounds in four months may not seem like anything special at all to most people, but it will be a victory for me. Ever since I broke into the 150's the weight really doesn't want to move.

Hi all
Recommitment Wednesday! It's overcast but cooler here today, Philly - relief !

I decided that it will be good for me and I would enjoy incorporating gym sessions into my program. Plus with the impending heat, it's good to have somewhere cool to go. Got in 30 minutes of weights/resistance this morning, going back this PM for cardio & a steam June is right around the corner and it's time to start acting like I got this.

Stay strong guys

Today is the day!

I'm getting a head start on June; picked up Ripped In 30 and a few more sports bras/running shorts!

Be back later to report the damage.

Gabi, I'm curious of what you think of your new workout.

bunneh, the queasiness was new. I have taken off about two weeks from doing it. I didn't even put my all into the workout so I was thrown by this.

exhale, seems you found a good match in going to the gym.

I'm not working out tonight. I ended up working a little late and am tired now. On the other hand, food today has been on point.

159 even this morning. I'm hoping to start off June at 158, but we'll see. I normally wouldn't reset my ticker for only three or four pounds gained but I'm planning to participate in the 100lb club daily weighing thread so it'll make more sense to have my ticker match. I'll set it to whatever my weight turns out to be tomorrow.

Planning for strength work today, probably upper body and abdominals.

novangel Glad RI30 went well. Awesome job!

Exhale Ooh! You made me want to listen to some Adele for my exercise today. Good job with the elliptical.

Philly Good job on doing well with your food.
