Thanks ladies!

Novangel- I would advise you to change some habits. Lower or increase your caloric intake by 800 or so, change the time of your exercise or stop for a few days. I change my routine every 3-4 days, today I ate 1000 cal over my plan. And another thing, you said you've been doing shred for 2 months? Your body probably got use to it, and needs another workout or some rest. Don't give up, you'll loose the weight in time.

Yeah, I've been at Jillian for 2 months but switch up the levels to keep things moving. I just started level 3 so that's definitely something new for my body. I'm for sure not used to it, it's very uncomfortable still...especially 2 and 3. I'm going to continue with 30DS for a few more weeks and then move on to Ripped In 30. If it would hurry up and get warm again (and not rain) I would go back to walking/jogging outside sometimes.

I think I just had too much sodium intake yesterday. I'm not going to stress about it anymore I'm just going to keep on and if I never lose another pound so be it. I'm just happy to have lost the inches I did lose. I was just wondering if it was true that you have to eat 3,500 calories to gain 1 pound. I have read that a few times around here.

On to L3D3. Have a nice night, ladies.

Good morning all

I am finally feeling like myself today. Passed on yesterday's plans, though - muscles were tired and lower back achy. Going out later shopping the stores with a friend, so that will be my reintroduction to 'movin' for today.

I'm thinking about taking out a 6-mos membership at a gym not too far away. It's the one where I had the 1-week pass. Now that I've been more active, I see that I do like a variety of things and it would be nice to have 'gym' in my rotation...I could go 2 or 3 times a week and it would be OK.

novangel, you know you are doing excellent with your dedication to your work-outs; you keep at them even though they're tough and it is paying off; even if 'behind the scenes' and not on the scale right now. It's true, from what I've read, that 3,500 excess calories will result in a pound of fat. Honestly, I think I can do that during a 'bad' weekend

Exercise, on the other hand, builds muscle, revs up the metabolism, strengthens bone, keeps blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol in check, and boosts mood, memory, and cognitive function. And justifies us buying cool looking footwear. (new signature?)

Hope you all have a great day...

OK, super annoyed right now. I'd written a post and the site did this refresh thing and my post is gone.

I've been super busy this weekend. Shopping, laundry, meal prep and reorganizing and cleaning the kitchen at this very moment. My workout program is going great. It's strenuous, but somewhat fun. It's a totally different experience from anything I've ever done. Working with a barbell makes me feel like a bada$$ and strong. Now, if I could master those wicked lunges it would be better. I even did the yoga and ab workouts in the program, can you believe that?

Break is over...back to kitchen reorganizing. I will post later to group posts.

Yup, HAPPY Monday and make it a great week. Keep the Focus !

Edit:
Here's my May so far:
5/1: 1 hr Pilates
5/2: 1 hr Zumba, 1 hr yoga
5/6: 3 hrs of mall walking
5/7: 1 hr Zumba - this class was different than the first - more of a boot-camp feel with boxing moves and big off-the ground jumps. I just kept up the best I could. Major butt kick

Hey guys, hope you're having a good Tuesday....where's everyone? We almost slipped to page 2

Today's a rest day. Tomorrow's Zumba
I also decided to not include my 15-pound loss on my ticker, but adjust my starting weight to where I've recently been...the reason being that I find myself resting on my laurels a bit. You know, 'I've already lost 15 pounds so I don't need to push it....' But those 15 pounds are history and the 22 I need to drop are the present. I don't want to entertain the possibility of any of them coming back...

I felt like I was coming down with something. I was super tired and stayed home today for a rest and relaxation day. Seems to be the running theme of at least one day home a week for like a month now. I just wish they'd let me work from home and I'd be super happy!

I tried shiratake noodles today and didn't like them. I followed the hungry girl prep recommendations, but they taste rubbery to me. At least I try new things right?

Today's workout was Les Mills-Pump n Burn. This is week 2 and this is a new workout for me. I'm still loving this program. I'm down 3lbs, but I won't get too cocky with that because that can come and go.

Hump Day tomorrow and its said to be rainy with thunderstorms here....lovely

Thumbs up

I'm off work today. First walk/jog outside for at least 30 minutes, then I will walk around the huge local mall (of course shop as well ) and then Jill tonight.

I took 2 days off in effort to kick start again. I'm stuck in a plateau I believe.

So I waited to get errands done first before jogging outside and now it's raining. I knew I should've done it first thing.

Jillian it is. I will attempt outdoor again Friday since I have the day off (not that I really want it, I need the money but my boss will be out of town) and my son will be in school.

Take care, ladies.
