Happy weekend to everyone, we made it through another week!
Angelsmom - The oven fried chicken turned out really yummy & even satisfied the picky eater boyfriend! I highly recommend the recipe (although I substituted apple cider vinegar for the balsamic that's recommended.) So glad L2 is getting easier for you - can't believe you've done 15 days of it already! Good going! Looking forward to hearing how L3 treats you.
novangel - I agree with Angelsmom, my instinct is to say don't do L1 & L2 back to back, it sounds really intense. You know your body best, though, so it's ultimately your decision! Sounds like you're on a good plan of alternating levels - I'd stick with that & avoid the doubling up. Good luck with the running/jogging when the weather's warmer - I'm excited to see how that goes for you.
Exhale - I haven't tried a lot of Indian food but what I've had I've really enjoyed. I'd love to hear about your experiments with Indian food recipes and see if you recommend any.
PhillyGirl - Carrying groceries, especially up stairs, can be a big workout! Hope you get to make some yummy recipes out of everything you got.
Today was kind of an up and down day for me. Started out great with me weighing in at 192.2, but then had to go to the doctor & weighed 198.0 on their scale. However, I had JUST eaten a fairly large breakfast, I was wearing a heavy sweatshirt, jeans, and new workout sneakers, and my hair was wet from showering. Any chance that can make up the 5.8lb difference, or do you think my scale at home is just off? Really discouraged me to think I'm actually not as low as I thought I was, but I just keep telling myself that as long as the scale I have is going DOWN I am losing weight.
After work I started to do my walking workout but got SO frustrated that I couldn't replicate Kendra's moves exactly. After several times of rewinding to try and get it right I literally just sat down on the floor and burst into tears. I know this is almost 99% due to TOM arriving in a few days and 1% due to the fact that I was tired and hungry, but it was just so upsetting, combined with the weight discrepancy of this morning. Luckily, the boyfriend was very supportive and convinced me to keep doing the workout. His advice was to just move/jump around if I encountered a move I just couldn't do & even if I don't do it 'right' at least I am moving around and keeping my heart rate up. I was glad he pushed me to keep doing it because it got a lot easier and I finished the whole 30 minutes.
Hope everyone's weeks have ended on high notes! Keep moving!
