Ak- don't worry about the meeting you'll do great. Congrats on the weight loss and I'm sure you'll be out of the 190's in no time!

Keep moving everyone, and stay OP

Good Evening!
I've been so busy today. I'm glad to see lots of thread activity.

Exhale, I had that channel in my subscriptions. I'll have to check it out.

ak812, the temperature has dropped drastically. These sudden changes are murder on my sinuses though. I walked around my home this morning and my eyes were watering. Just a few minutes ago I had a sneezing attack. No headache though so that's something.

novangel, I hope you're not on that hormonal rollercoaster.

angel, how are you today?

bunneh, hope all is well.

Today was an early day for me. I was at work by 7am so I am beat now. I'm off to bed and looking forward to only two more days of work.

Till tomorrow!

Philly, so far I'm ok this month. I really think all of this exercise has done wonders for me mentally as well as physical. Of course with TOM approaching I'm a little more lethargic (to be expected) so I did level 1 tonight and it still kicked my butt!! I don't know what it is but she just kills me and it never seems to get easy...but that's good.

I'm miserable because I am SO BLOATED. Ugh, I want to be a man in my next life.

See ya tomorrow.

Happy Thursday to everyone! Weekend's almost here, finally.

Exhale - Thank you for the YouTube channel recommendation. It will definitely help me with the Pilates form & structure. I don't know if I will stick to Pilates long-term though. I tried it as something to get me back into working out, but not sure it is exactly for me. I may eventually replace it with something else - no idea what though! How did those greens work out for you? If you've got any healthy recipe recs I'd love to hear them.

Angelsmom - Thanks for the encouragement! Bummer that you're feeling kind of tired today. End of the week blues? We're almost there! I'm impressed that you push yourself to do workouts even when not feeling at 100% ... I'm way more inclined to say "Oh well, not feeling great, I deserve a rest." Seriously, good for you.

PhillyGirl - Can't believe you had such an early day at work yesterday! Hope today wasn't the same & you've been able to get some rest.

novangel - lol, I want to be a man in my next life, too! Good to know that the exercise has helped improve your overall mood, though. It's nice to feel so good after a workout!

I haven't exercised yet today as I had an early dentist appointment this morning - had to get the first of several small cavities filled! Before this morning, the last time I had a filling was when I was 5 or 6 years old, so I was SUPER nervous but the process was fast, easy, and completely painless. Dentist & staff were nice and really put me at ease. I'm going to try to get in a 30 minute Kendra Kemerley walking workout On Demand tonight after work, although not sure I will have time because I'm making oven-fried honey chicken & broccoli for dinner. Maybe I can squeeze it in while chicken's cooking?

Off to take a lunchtime walk - hope everyone's having a wonderful day!

Ak- thank god weekend is almost here and I can relax a little! Glad your dentist appointment was pain free I dislike going to the dentist even if im just taking my kid. A walk before lunch would do you good and you'll be glad you did it. I like to do my exercisises as soon as I'm up tp get them out of the way, I'll just make excuses later! That oven fried chicken sounds delicious, enjoy and have a nice day

Hope everyone had a good day
I was on slow mode today. Got in some walking, but that's about it for today for me.

Philly, I think you'll enjoy Pilates on fifth
ak, have so say I'm not much into cooking complex things. Moroccan Lentil Soup from the Happy Herbivore website came out great. I like Indian food and I'll probably be trying the red dahl next. I got the Everyday Happy Herbivore book and the recipies are nice and simple; few ingredients, lots of herbs and spices.

Everyone have a lovely evening...and tomorrow's FRIDAY

Going back to level 1 the past two days and I am way more sore. I dunno guys I am considering flip flopping levels to cover more bases. Can't hurt. Or my other solution is doing both 1 and 2 back to back in the same night. :/

Goodnight.

TGIF....been looking forward to it allllll week...lol!

Gabi, what do you think of doing 3ds every other day and doing something else in between workouts? I dunno, to me too much excess soreness is counterproductive.

I went food shopping last night and got some good stuff at the market. However, carrying all those bags through the parking lot and up 3 levels of steps was not fun. I woke up super stiff. I guess I actually did get in a workout yesterday.

I hope everyone has a fab day!

The fact that level 1 makes me more sore tells me it works better...at least in my case. I have yet to see how level 3 goes. When it gets warmer out I will spend a day or two outside jogging/running. I have zero interest in doing anything else. I'm addicted to Jill. I am going to start alternating levels though to change what muscles I'm working, and the intensity.

Call me strange but I like being sore. I just work right through it and after a few days I'm fine.

Hello ladies

L2D15 done! It's getting easier I'll be moving to level 3 in a few days.
Novangel don't do them back to back you'll overtrain your muscles and cause them to bulk. I noticed my arms are getting a little bulkier but firm, so I'll stop using heavier dumbbells.
Have a nice day or night!

Happy weekend to everyone, we made it through another week!

Angelsmom - The oven fried chicken turned out really yummy & even satisfied the picky eater boyfriend! I highly recommend the recipe (although I substituted apple cider vinegar for the balsamic that's recommended.) So glad L2 is getting easier for you - can't believe you've done 15 days of it already! Good going! Looking forward to hearing how L3 treats you.

novangel - I agree with Angelsmom, my instinct is to say don't do L1 & L2 back to back, it sounds really intense. You know your body best, though, so it's ultimately your decision! Sounds like you're on a good plan of alternating levels - I'd stick with that & avoid the doubling up. Good luck with the running/jogging when the weather's warmer - I'm excited to see how that goes for you.

Exhale - I haven't tried a lot of Indian food but what I've had I've really enjoyed. I'd love to hear about your experiments with Indian food recipes and see if you recommend any.

PhillyGirl - Carrying groceries, especially up stairs, can be a big workout! Hope you get to make some yummy recipes out of everything you got.

Today was kind of an up and down day for me. Started out great with me weighing in at 192.2, but then had to go to the doctor & weighed 198.0 on their scale. However, I had JUST eaten a fairly large breakfast, I was wearing a heavy sweatshirt, jeans, and new workout sneakers, and my hair was wet from showering. Any chance that can make up the 5.8lb difference, or do you think my scale at home is just off? Really discouraged me to think I'm actually not as low as I thought I was, but I just keep telling myself that as long as the scale I have is going DOWN I am losing weight.

After work I started to do my walking workout but got SO frustrated that I couldn't replicate Kendra's moves exactly. After several times of rewinding to try and get it right I literally just sat down on the floor and burst into tears. I know this is almost 99% due to TOM arriving in a few days and 1% due to the fact that I was tired and hungry, but it was just so upsetting, combined with the weight discrepancy of this morning. Luckily, the boyfriend was very supportive and convinced me to keep doing the workout. His advice was to just move/jump around if I encountered a move I just couldn't do & even if I don't do it 'right' at least I am moving around and keeping my heart rate up. I was glad he pushed me to keep doing it because it got a lot easier and I finished the whole 30 minutes.

Hope everyone's weeks have ended on high notes! Keep moving!

Jillian is done and normally tomorrow (Saturdays) are my rest day...I'm glad because my knees are kind of hurting. I also wish TOM would hurry the heck up and start so I can get it over with. I am SOOOO bloated and miserable.

See everyone Sunday night!

I'm also disappointed to admit that I have let my guard down a bit with food lately. I indulged in Mexican food a few times. Hopefully I didn't ruin 2 months of hard work..it's hard not to worry when I am feeling this bloated from PMS right now. I'm terrified of the scale and probably won't go anywhere near it for a while. *sigh*
