Today was the big day. I met my new doctor. My doctor left for a better position. Now I have a new doctor to break in. The good news is I weighed in at 152. Two pounds from goal.

The sad news is my sister is in the hospital. Dehydrated and hullicinating. Vomiting and diareah. They are going to keep her for a few more hours to make sure she has proper hydration and urinating before she can go home. Our younger sister is angry over the whole deal :-/ I am going to call her this evening to see how she is doing. There are 5 sisters :-)

Well no gym for me yesterday because I was at the car dealer buying a brand new ride So today it was back to the grind, 60mins of cardio followed by 40mins on weights. I also saw a nice little whoosh on the scale so I'm pretty stoked about that as well. It's been a great weekend for me so far (my weekend is Tues/Wed)!

i finally saw a loss today.. back down to 167.6... we'll see what happens on weigh in thursday.

I'm RAVENOUS. What's wrong with me?

I feel like I need to spend the day exercising so I can just FEED. I have sugar and carbs in my system and they are trying to do me in. Someone throw a life preserver, quick!

I am eating every possible calorie allotted to me, and even fudging on some things to give me a couple more here or there. I know I'm not fooling anyone but myself, but did I mention that I'm ravenous? I am too committed to totally blow it and eat whatever I want, but I am going to slow my weight loss way down if I don't snap out if it quick.

I've stalled out at 173 (give or take a pound) for the last 12 days and I will never reach my goal this month if this insatiable urge to eat EAT EAT doesn't pass quickly.

What do I do?

Hey, y'all! Sorry I disappeared for the past couple of weeks-- I just moved to a new apartment last week and then started back to work this week, so I got a bit distracted. I've only lost a pound, down to 138.4, but that's ok. If I don't meet my goal for May, I won't beat myself up because the move threw me off more than expected.

I have, however, brought my lunch to work 3 days in a row! I'm sure we all know how tempting (and expensive) it is to just go grab something from a restaurant during a lunch break, but I'm proud of myself for not giving in.

louisa: so how did it go? and i see u posted that one at 11 at night. i dont know about u but when im that hungry i cant sleep. i eat a salad or cereal something light like that. i know that feeling though. hope everything turned out well for you.

aluxa: congrats! i've been at a stand still for the last week which feels like forever.

well, my eating has been OP all week but the other night i overdid it on the exercise and i've been so sore and stiff that i haven't been able to work out. i think that i'm well enough to exercise tonight though so i will do my video in a bit.

Hey girls! I've been on crazy speed here to make up for my sick/down time, so I'm just now getting almost caught up enough to post.
I feel almost back to 100%, but my eating and exercise have suffered. I'm pulling it together and getting back to the "routine". However, tonight I'm going out with a friend and my 2 older kids are each having a friend sleep over tomorrow, so things aren't slowing down one bit which makes it harder to stick to the routine. I guess I will just do my best with the time I have left this month. June won't be a cakewalk either...we have a 10 day vacation, plus a camping weekend, not to mention the normal summer gatherings. I love it and I'm looking forward to it all, but you know those things can certainly test a person's self-control!

LouisaH-UGH! I know that feeling! The best thing I tell myself (and DH) is to go to bed. Go to bed hungry and you won't die or anything. It's pretty tough to eat in your sleep, so that's what I try to do when it's late. During the day, I try to find some distraction....going outside to garden, read a book, watch a movie, anything but eat. Unfortunately I don't always take my own advice. I've been cycling through those ravenous feelings every few weeks and it drives my crazy because I feel like nothing hits the spot, so I keep trying! So pointless!! I hope you find something that helps...aside from avoiding sweets altogether. Take care!

I just finished working in the yard for an hour or so. I have a feeling I'll be burning a LOT of calories out there in the next few weeks. My yard has been sorely neglected since I hurt my back in Februaury - the roses outside the living room window had grown nearly to the top of the window - they were taller than me! Then I saw all the weeds and plopped my butt down (don't want to risk my back by bending) and pulled weeds for most of the time I was out there. And I'm not nearly done! I'm beat!
