What the @%*&?? I got on the scale this morning, and I'm up almost 2 lbs.! I haven't cheated, although I fixed a recipe from the MRC cookbook last night (individual meat loaves) and ended up hating it, so I ate 3 oz. hard cheese and green beans instead. I am feeling constipated the last couple of days, so maybe I need to get the "internal cleanser" I've seen other people posting about here? Any thoughts? I would've thought I've just hit a "plateau", but I can't understand why I would've gained weight!

Hi all,

Just got my yellow menu after a week of precon. Down 3.5 (Yipppeee!). Yellow menu looks scary. Blue next...never thought I would be so happy to see an egg, LOL.

Love this board for all the encouragement and information sharing. Congrats to all those that saw a loss last week!

I know in the past from WW that I'm one of those people who can stay totally OP and not show a weight loss from week to week but have a good drop at least once a month that evens it out.

I showed a 3 lb loss today and I am thrilled. I may not show a loss on Thursday but I'm heading in the right direction.

I feel your pain....LOL. Started blue this morning. No, really it hasn't been near as bad as I originally thought when I saw the menu and following the plan my hunger and cravings have really been in control.

Well I went to a great class tonight called Transformations and saw one of my favorite ladies from Round 1....she looked amazing and it was so nice to see a familiar face.

I am eating on plan, but this time around it is coming off MUCH slower!!!!

Hey! Just "checking in". For some reason I was not get emails of new posts and then got busy .....
anyhow, I was getting back on track, but now have an infection where they removed my colon so I am on heavy meds including a steroid. I hope to be able to get back on track when I am better. I have 2 more months of MRC whenever I can go back, but I am struggling to be able to afford the HNS. I made the fake HNS with the whey powder from GNC and Crystal Light, but gained about 10 lbs- obviously it did not control my cravings. I think a lot of it is water weight, but I am still frustrated. I am buying HNS from diet direct again. I hope to get some inspiration from reading the daily posts. Keep up the good work. You are all an encouragement to me.

Don't worry about it! I have been through exactly the same thing. I am jsut a week off a two week plateau where i gained and lost the same two pound over and over. And i was OP perfectly!! It happens. but then you should see a big drop. That is what they kept telling me and just to hang in there, and i will never doubt again! As for the internal cleanser.. it worked really good for me. I had the same problem you do. I suggest it, and also i took some.. (sorry for the grossness of this) stool softener as well.. I promise if you hang in there and stay OP you will go down again! It sucks at the time, though, I know!!

I'm happy that as of today I have no possible off program things coming up. I can stick with it through to the end now. (Minus 2 plane rides where there is no way I could stay OP since they're to and from Australia)

Last night I cheated because I went to a friend's house and they have a 6 week old. I had brought my own food and was fully prepared to have that and then I found out she cooked. There was no way I was telling a woman with a 6 week old who had cooked that I wasn't going to eat her food. The scale actually didn't show me that up this morning so hopefully it won't be too bad and I'm sure the extra from the last week will come off quickly.

In the past I've found my slip-ups didn't show up on the scale until the following week.

Our dieting bodies sure work in mysterious ways.

Well I've been off here for a while!! I didn't realize this thread had gotten so big! I went to OKC for the weekend and did REALLY well. My boyfriends best friend's wife was REALLY cool about the diet. She LOVES to cook and I told them not to change their menu plans because of my diet. They bought some bag salad and spritzers and chicken for me and everything was cool. I did end up off program Sunday night at the cracker barrel. I'd never been there before so I didn't realize EVERYTHING they make has bacon and you can't really take bacon or ham out of green beans of pinto beans. *sigh* So I nibbled and scraped the gravy off the roast and called it good. We'll see how bad that ends up being for me Thursday.

Have a great on plan week!

I weighed myself this morning, and I'm back down to 246.0 lbs., but I'm still feeling constipated. I've been drinking 1 MRC fiber drink a day, but I think when I go to check in tomorrow, I will get the internal cleanser. Also, I realized that, even though I was usually taking my supplements in the morning, a lot of times I was forgetting them at lunch and dinner, so I wasn't getting a lot of the flax oil. Maybe that's why? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix the "Double Chocolate Instant Pudding" supplement? I tried as the instructions said to prepare it (mix with 4 oz. cold water), and even put it in the fridge for 30 minutes, but it was lumpy and soupy in texture. Edible, but definitely not what I'd call pudding. I'm feeling a little encouraged, though, because I was able to fit in a XL outfit I bought yesterday! I didn't think I'd be able to get into a XL until I lost 20 more lbs.! Thanks for all your support and encouraging words!

By the way, does anyone know what happened to the recipe thread? I can't seem to find it anymore. Thanks!

I mix it with just enough water to make a frosting like consistency and then put it in the fridge until it's really cold. It gets kind of sticky and hard to get off a spoon but it lasts a lot longer that way!
