I really wish I could offer you some advice. I wonder what the difference is between the yellow/green menu. How many HNS are you taking? If it were me, I would try one of those and see if that helped fill you up. I'm allowed up to 4 a day on the green.

Today was really rocky for me. I had a piece of bread at lunch, some cookies this afternoon and I just don't get it. I was home by myself in the afternoon and I just caved. I did go for a 'run' this evening and am feeling better though.

Hang in there! If you can make it until tomorrow, I'd call your center and see if they have any suggestions for you if you continue to be hungry. I was hungry last thurs/friday not even an hour after eating breakfast and I guess that's passed for me, but we'll see. I was at work those days.

I can have up to 4 , I had three today. I am trying not to have 4 a day to save $! This is what I could have to eat today and I followed it exactly: Breakfast- 1 oz. cheese, half a small orange, 1 piece 40 cal. bread. Lunch-8 oz. fresh veggies 2 oz. cheese half cup cottage cheese Supper-4 oz. raw veggies, 4 oz. fresh veggies 4 oz. lean meat or fish and 1 piece 40 cal. bread. Can you tell me how that differs from the green? I know in 3 days I go on blue for 6 days then I am on green until I reach goal...I am sorry to be so whiny but I did not expect it to be so hard! I am drooling everytime a food commercial comes on TV! I am sorry you had a bad time today too. I did not cheat but I was so tempted. This is weird (I thought) I never eat sweets, I have no sweet tooth whatsoever but today I made Blueberry muffins for my family and I swear I could have eaten all 12 of them...I was craving sweets for the first time I think in my life! I wonder if that is just my body's reaction to all the changes plus the restricted diet? Strange. By the way, I love the new picture of Noah! Oh well, tomorrow is a new day...

On the blue menu you get more of a choice in fruit for breakfast and you add protein to lunch - other than just cheese and you can also add eggs to breakfast. On the green menu you can drop from 8 oz raw to 4 oz cooked veggies at lunch and dinner. You have more starch choices and protein choices for meals. Fruit goes from breakfast to lunch.

Jace,

the previous post summed it up exactly! I never was (and still am not) a big cheese person so I couldn't imagine not being able to have my daily 2 eggs/french toast for breakfast. I usually do french toast or 2 boiled eggs/toast for breakfast with an HNS (orange or Peach Mango). this week I'm on a lettuce/salad boycott so today I'm going to try the celery apple salad in the Strawberry/banana HNS (I only put 2/3 of the celery/apples in the jello and the rest I'll eat by itself). I'm trying to find alternatives to lettuce after my gagging experiences last week! I'm going to be relying a lot of steamed brococli this week. So we'll see how that goes for me! I hop today is a better day for you!

Just going to moan for a bit.... Had a horrible weekend.

My first Mother's Day (daughter is almost 5 months old). Fiance lost track of days (he did get me cards and a present) but in his morning stupor forgot Sunday was Mother's Day and I had to get up with the baby.

Worst part was that was the best part of my day!

Ended up off plan a bit as had a PartLite candle party on Saturday night and while I was very good and didn't go off plan at the party, ended up munching on leftovers on Sunday. Was my weakness tortilla chips and pita chips... the hummus and veggies weren't too bad I guess.

I know it could have been a lot worse and it is also my TOM but just ended up hating myself for doing it.

Besides the fact I was physically ill from it and it wasn't even an 1/16th of what I would have "normally" eaten 3 weeks ago.

Going to the gym tonight, as we rearranged babysitting with my mom so 3 times a week we can go to the gym after work and don't have to put her in the daycare at the gym. It is too close to her bed time and last week she had a major melt down

Hopefully, the gym will help but I am NOT looking forward to WI on Tuesday or the class after... just wish I could go back and have a redo.

Anyways have to get to work. Hope everyone else had a better weekend than I did.

Funny thing tho...I thought I was get emotional, but the mrc gal was one I am not normally with so I don't think it was as much as a celebration as I thought it would be...it was more like "only 1.5 pounds more and you get to sign the 70 pound board" which is also exciting...but come on!! Lets celebrate!!

Im still struggling daily to make the right choices. Its not as easy as it was in the beginning of the diet.

well...Im off to buy some new shorts for summer!!
Congratulations Bonnie!!!

Went to WI this morning and was down 3.5 pounds since last Thursday. I would be excited about it, but for me it is so completely random. I have been following the plan pretty much exactly for about a month. Three weeks of it were spent at nearly the exact same weight and then I went up 4.0 pounds and since then I have lost 7.0 pounds. I keep telling myself that I am just going to keep following the plan since I KNOW that it works. My body must be making some sort of adjustments right now.

I am nearly to my halfway point using the MRC scale. In theory I will sign the 70 pound board on Thursday, because I am only 0.5 pounds away right now. At the rate that my body has been going though, who knows?

Hope you all have a great week!!

I knew I knew of someone that was on the same for about 3 weeks. How did you get through it? I'm on day 11 hovering around 203-203.5 and it's taking just about everything in me right now not to just go and get some M&M's. I know I've lost inches and all but why won't the scale move! How did you keep on it for nearly 3 weeks? Any tips/suggestions? I would welcome anything at this point!

The only 'advice' I have to offer is jsut to get right back on it. I had somewhat of an 'off' day yesterday and so far today I'm OP, but I've only had breakfast so far. After I had my cheats yesterday, I did my C25k week two 'run' last night and did feel better I must admit. I then made my lunch for today (celery/apple salad in HNS jell-o). So we'll see. So go to the gym and relieve some frustration!
