Noahsmama - Congrats on making that under 200 mark!!!! You go girl Doing the happy dance for you!
Thank you very much! I hope that the center will show that weight this week..maybe on Saturday morning? When I go in on Wed, it'll be after work and afte rI've drank 100 oz. of water so I actually expect to see a gain. They showed me at 200.5 on Sat. But thank you!
Good morning everyone! Happy Tuesday and I hope everyone had a great OP holiday! I haven't posted in a while but I do come on here to read and follow everyone's progress almost daily. Seems like all is well with everyone, congrats for all the losses and hello to all the newbies! I am on week 3 of stabilization. I am now having dairy every morning for breakfast! I had yogurt this morning plus my fruit and regular breakfast! I am stuffed...lol! All is going well, I am still losing and feel great!
Just to update you all on stabilization, week 1 you get to add a starch every other day to lunch, week 2 you get to add a fruit every other day for breakfast and you still get the starch every other day at lunch. Week 3 you get a dairy everyday for breakfast plus the week 1 and 2 additions.
I have 3 more weeks of stabilization then on to maintenance. I hope to lose another 5 lbs or so in the next 3 weeks and will maintain between 150 and 155. That's my plan anyway, I hope my body cooperates....lol!
Have a great rest of the week and stay strong, you can do it!!
So this past weekend was the bachelorette party I've been looking forward to for months and months. I did my best to stay OP Friday, Sunday, Monday (if anything I ate too much/too little of each food. My mom didn't have a scale to weigh my food on so I was eyeballing it) but Saturday I went pretty crazy...and I LOVED IT! We went to the Cardinal's baseball game and we had a party box. Which meant that there was a buffet of yummy yummy baseball park food (nachos, pretzels, bbq chicken and brownies were the ones I really went nuts on). I was no where NEAR OP during the game. Then for dinner I ate pizza and after that we went to the clubs/bars and I had probably 6 or 7 drinks. Then at 3 am when we got back to the hotel, I had pizza again! It was wonderful. But...I GAINED 10 LBS IN ONE NIGHT! Honestly, I think it's hilarious. Yes, I'm disappointed that I gained 10 lbs in one night but I know 8-9 of those lbs is water weight. I've already dropped 4 lbs since Sunday morning. But to me what's important is I had such a great time! And I don't think I could have had a good time if I was stressing over staying OP. But now for the next 2 weeks, I will be 100% OP until my next event, which I will go off plan for. Luckily, I don't have the opportunity to go as crazy as I did this last Saturday so it shouldn't be as bad.
They wanted to start me on maintenance on Wednesday but I think I'm going to wait until I get back down to the weight I was before this weekend. So I have another 6 lbs to lose before I can do that. Hopefully I'll be back at that weight by Saturday or the latest by next Wednesday. I think that's pretty doable.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
My center had a deal if you weighed on Friday and then today and lost at least 1# you get to add 2 weeks on your program.
I lost 2!!! Yeah!!!!

Lcmaly, GOOD FOR YOU...getting back on track...I too had such an event where I just had what ever I wanted...after three strict months completely on plan I was just burnt out and had to...binge...mind lastes a week not a day...and the greatest news is today I WI at home at 188...down 2 pounds from Saturday a week ago. I was not brave enough to WI after my splurge so I do not know the damage but I have been on the Meta-Quick for three days and have lost all the damage weight plus 2 more...my counselor just told me that sometimes we just need a break...and as long as I get back on track everything will work out fine...I have another few weeks before maintenance...I can not wait!

I so happy to hear that there are others who have done exactly what I did! It's a little scary that our bodies can gain so much weight in just 1 or 2 days when we go off plan (I mean REALLY off plan). I just keep telling myself "it's mostly water weight...it'll be gone soon". Well I'm already down 5 lbs from Sunday morning so I'm half way to being right back to where I started. I honestly think I'll be there by Saturday. 1 week to recover isn't so bad...especially since I'm at the end of the road and get to start stabilization. I just hope that once I'm on/finished with stabilization, binges (smaller ones than what I had this past weekend) won't put 10 lbs on me! I can take 5 lbs but 10 lbs is a little bit of a shock.
I have my WI today and I just know the couselors are going to be snotty about my eating off program. I'm just going to smile and tell them I loved it and I don't regret it at all. I'm back on program 100% now and that's all that matters.
Hello everybody, looks like you are all doing great! I have a couple questions. First of all I have been OP awhile and losing and really feeling that I am in the groove of the program. One thing I am really lacking is exercising. So far I am just parking as far away from places as I can and walking when I could drive (when I can) I need to get more motivated to exercise! Any helpful hints? Are there any good DVD's anyone recommends? Somebody kick me in the bootie! Also, I have another question (sorry for too much info!) I take internal cleanser everyday and am still not having lots of luck in the restroom. I have not been taking the fiber fills because I haven't needed them for hunger, should I be taking them for the extra fiber to help in the restroom area? Any other ideas? I cant believe I am having this problem since I am drinking SO MUCH water and eating so many fresh veggies! Help! Hope you are all doing great!
So after my long journey with MRC, I decided that when my contract ended i would finish, even tho i'm not 100% where i want to me. Its fine and i've figured out that MRC is too restrictive for me although it did help me quite a bit to get off quite abit of weight great jump start... Anyway i've decided that I much more prefer working out to being so restrictive on my diet. I'm going through the stabilzation and maintance and then probabally just doing calorie counting from there. That way i can be a bit more flexable..
Anyway I am on week 2 of stablization, my center only has one stabillization class a month and I won't be able to make it. Can anyone tell me what i"m missing by not going to "stabilazation class? "
Jace....Someone mention working out to WII...don't remember what it was called but it sure sounded fun. Not sure if you have one or not? I think it would be a great way to go!!! I don't have one, and don't think I can add that to my list of things to get once I join...I want a Magic Bullet, so I guess price wise, that will have to do. Maybe I should look into some used WII's to see if they are more affordable that way. Sounds like a plan!
Great posts ladies....I have been enjoying all your words of wisdom. Thank you.
At my center they said do not mix. I was wondering too how you make some of the recipes of you cant mix though...maybe someone else knows?
My center says to mix them in equal proportions so half of the cheese and half of the meat. As long as the cookbook says that it is good for whatever meal you are making the recipe for then it is fine.

There is one on the last or next to last page of the recipe thread for a no-cook sauce.

As far as workout dvd's go.....Jillians dvd (from the Biggest loser)...has a 30 day shred dvd that I love. Its only 20 minutes and its interval...3 minutes strength..2 cardio and 1 abs......You start out at level 1 and move up to level 3...and only need a pair of handweights...like 3-5 lbs. I bought mine at Target for around 15 bucks.
Have any of you tried Zumba? I tired it once and about died. I'd love to get healthy enough to do it. It was a lot of fun. They have some videos of classes on youtube if you'd like to chedk it out. I bought the DVDs... I'll keep trying it out!
Hey everyone, seems after reading the posts that everyone has been having a wonderful May. But guess what, June is just around the corner. I can relate to alot of the posts in this months chat. I must say though that even though there are challenges with MRC we seem to be standing strong. I started MRC on January 2, 2009 and have successfully reduced by 37 pounds and feel fantastic. Yes I have had what I call celebration moments that I lapsed off program for a day or heck maybe even a weekend, but I jumped right back on that wagon, grabbed the reins and took control of it. I have also had the lack of fiber issue so I went and purchased the clear benefiber and mixed it with my HNS and get everything straightened out if you know what I mean. Heck, I even got a new gym membership a couple months ago and finally started going last week. Talk about a procrasternator(spelling?) And do we want to discuss MRC vitamins? I started out taking almost everything they had to offer, then found out about the All Day Weight Loss and truly love them because they don't leave me hungry at all, heck alot of the times I have a hard time making sure I eat everything on my daily intake schedule, which of course sometimes throughs me out of ketosis. But all in all I am very excited about my life change and by reading everyone's posts it makes me realize that you are happy with the more healthier you too! So biggest of hugs to everyone and I can't wait to see how we all do next month!!!! Huggers!!!
There sure are many Nebraskans on here....does that mean we are here because we have all been corn-fed??? Kidding of course....maybe some day we can all meet at Gretna to the outlet stores and have a lite lunch and buy some new clothes....that would really be fun!!!
Denise, I've been wondering where you've been! I always look forward to reading your posts. It looks like you're doing well and congrats and your loss so far!!
