HAHA. That sounds like fun! We're thinking about going to Lousiville this Sunday for a picnic and swimming!

Heck ... maybe we should plan an end of summer meeting at Mahoney. We could do a lunch at the lodge and totally mess with the waiter with all our special orders!

Good Morning everyone! I haven't been over to the forum(s) in a couple of weeks due to work getting in the way (what's that all about?) so stopped by this morning to check in and send you all big hugs! I'll be around, lurking (I mean working) and hopefully able to get some time in to comment again. Darn job.... lol.

Denise
I'm so glad you're still here, even if you're lurking. I'm a lurker myself!! I'm also from Greeley, so you're kind of my poster girl for when I feel like I can't do this (not a stalker...just find you inspiring

This board is such an awesome place--thank you to everyone who posts!

Oh, I'm still here and am NOT going anywhere!

You're from Greeley?! Do you go to the center then? How about the classes? I don't suppose you came to my last peer inspiration did you?
If you ever see me there (I'm easy to spot; I'm the obnoxious one) come introduce yourself ok? I love my fellow 3fatchicks! Judy is from the Greeley center also.

Oh, and stalk away!

I went in for my WI last night...only 2.5 lbs gain from my horrible (but soooo satifying) binge last Saturday at the bachelorette party. They begun going over stabilization with me and when I go in Saturday for WI they will give me the menu and take my very last body comp to determine my final comps/calories. Wahoo! I just hope I can lose those 2.5 lbs by Saturday. I really want to start stabilization at 153 lbs on their scale/150 lbs on my scale.

I still can't believe that you gained 10 pounds in ONE day!! That just baffles my mind and the fact that you've already lost that much is just awesome! Congrats on getting back OP and I hope you get to start stabilization.

You're right! There are a lot of us Nebraskans on this forum! I'm choosing to believe that it's just because we're so motivated to be healthy in NE and not the corn's fault I'd love to meet you all sometime!

Anyway i've decided that I much more prefer working out to being so restrictive on my diet. I'm going through the stabilzation and maintance and then probabally just doing calorie counting from there. That way i can be a bit more flexable..
Anyway I am on week 2 of stablization, my center only has one stabillization class a month and I won't be able to make it. Can anyone tell me what i"m missing by not going to "stabilazation class? "
We have a stabilization "party" at our center. We got a nice pep talk from our manager, a few small gifts (ie pen, HNS, bar, etc.), took our after pics and talked a little about what was going to happen during stab. That was about it. Everything else was taken care of during my first stabilization weigh in. I don't think it will matter if you can't attend.

One thing I am really lacking is exercising. So far I am just parking as far away from places as I can and walking when I could drive (when I can) I need to get more motivated to exercise! Any helpful hints? Are there any good DVD's anyone recommends? Somebody kick me in the bootie! Also, I have another question (sorry for too much info!) I take internal cleanser everyday and am still not having lots of luck in the restroom. I have not been taking the fiber fills because I haven't needed them for hunger, should I be taking them for the extra fiber to help in the restroom area? Any other ideas? I cant believe I am having this problem since I am drinking SO MUCH water and eating so many fresh veggies! Help! Hope you are all doing great!
You could definitely try the fiberfills. They didn't work for me but they sure taste good! I read somewhere at my center that the extra fiber can actually help you lose more weight too. Not sure if that's true...... I've just gotten used to not going very often. My center warned me that that could happen when I joined. Magnesium is supposed to help too.

Yes, I go to the Greeley center. The people there are so amazing!! I'm always surprised when folks on here say that the employees at other centers were yucky to them---I haven't met anyone rude yet! I hadn't started the program when you had your peer inspiration talk--but I read it online and bawled my eyes out! Way to go!

10 lbs in one day IS nuts, huh? I gain/lose water weight fast though.

So more good news on the Lauren (that's my name by the way) front. I've been wearing my size 10 pants throughout this whole weight loss. As I lost more and more, they looked worse and worse (baggy everywhere). I had gone in to some stores a few weeks ago to try on some size 8 pants and they fit but they didn't look as good on me as I wanted to...you know...still some muffintop going on. Well today I decided to try some pants on at The Gap because they just came out with some of their summer wear-to-work pants. I picked up some size 8s, went in to the dressing room and holy crud...TOO BIG! I ran out of the dressing room, grabbed some size 6s and holy crud...JUST RIGHT! I couldn't believe it. I have never been a size 6 before in my entire life! I've always been a tall girl (I was 6 foot tall at age 13) so when I was younger I had to wear boys clothes. I was almost in tears when I tried those pants on. I bought 2 pair.

I'm finally beginning to feel like this struggle with the program is now totally worth it. I'm excited to start stabilization on Monday and even more excited about this new skinny body of mine. I'm so excited that I'm actually going to use the dancing carrot emoticon!

My daughter-in-law goes to Zumba classes in Denver and LOVES them! She also checked out some DVDs from the library to try out -- if the library she goes to doesn't have them, they order them. That way you can see if you like them before you invest any $ in them.

Does anyone know if maxing out your flax oil helps lose faster? I have been only taking the minimum and didnt know the advantage of taking the maximum...Also, I read once that some of you get your HNS's elsewhere cheaper. Does anyone have that websight or product name? Thanks to all of you you always are so helpful and have GREAT advice!
