JLUS, I wish I knew of your recipe before this morning! It sounds great!! I have purchased WF syrups so I will try it! Jemma51, I drink 2 cups of coffee each morning. I used to put cream and Equal in my coffee, but I know that's a no no in IP. Today, I drank it black with Stevia. Any suggestions on a cream alternative (I can't stand skim milk)?

I use 2TBLs of the RTD Vanilla shake as creamer for my coffee. The other thing that I use alot for a breakfast meal is I take the cappuccino drink packet, one cup of coffee, one cup of ice, and a splash of the Torani vanilla flavor and mix it all in my blender. It gives me a 30oz shake which I drink at work or running my morning errands. Hope this helps.

I mix coffee and my breakfast vanilla RTD shake. I used to use half and half. It takes some getting used to but it's do able.

Since Feb I do a RTD chocolate with 1 stevia in the raw and that gives me 2 cups of coffee in the morning. The first week it wasn't great but now I can't wait to have my coffee. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the coffee creamer suggestions! I'm missing my creamer, so I will give the vanilla and chocolate a try!

omg Sweetenuf-- I didn't realize I was eating something made from the bi-product of e-coli feces! BLECH... I knew "it wasn't good for you" but now that I know WHY you have made an "aspartame-free"convert out of me!

For me this is the important thing about this diet -- the finding out "why" our body produces/reacts to things. At first I just "follow the program" but as I learn more about "why" it works, I am very grateful for the knowledge to add to my "life tool belt".

Good Morning!

Day 4 back in the saddle for me. Woke up with a raging headache. I really was hoping that since I wasn't off the wagon for all that long, I would be able to slip quietly right back into ketosis with no problems. Nope!

Hey momcat- we can be buddies- I started yesterday, too! This is my second time at the rodeo, I did very well last time but went off due to some personal reasons, so I find myself in the unfortunate position of starting all over again. I also do alternatives, but I can tell you that there are going to be foods you just don't like. Ask if your coach will take returns for credit for the things you don't like, or if they will let you buy single packets to try things out. Don't let a couple of gross packets discourage you, you will definitely find things that you really like. This plan definitely works!

I would love to be buddies txtw! My coach gave me a week's worth of items and most of them are items that I never would've ordered for myself. My coach did say there is a swap box at the center, so I think I will stop by tomorrow and swap some items out. I hope to try some of the recipes this weekend when I have time to prepare them. I was hoping that some items were packaged to eat right away, but it doesn't look like they're edible without some doctoring. My willpower is sky high right now so I will stick with it no matter how hard it is. Thanks for the encouragement!

Talking First 7!

Hi IP'rs! I had my 1st WI & walked out happy hat I lost 7 lbs & 1 inch!! I was having a really fatiguing and brain fuzzy week! My Dr. Was worried and called everyday. He was flummoxed that I was experiencing "the fog" longer than most of his patients....this morning he said I must have been more of a carbaholic than most? Ha! Not sure!

Anywho...sounds like everyone is getting along well in their process?

Received two recipes from the daily videos this week that I thought were interesting...one was a Taboulah salad & the other....was muffins!!! Say what?!

Wildberry Muffins?! How.is.that.possible.on.phase.one?! 1pkt Wildberry drink and 1 pkt crispy cereal....just crazy! I had no idea that we could eat such things. I'm happy to know that there are variations and recipes....makes the variety encouraging.

Ok - thanks for letting spew! Have a great evening.
