Here is how I make my muffins Zucchini Packet/muffin recipe
For savory, I use the potato puree but I've seen other people use tomato soup packets for a "bread" or "crust". It just isn't to my liking.

The same "batter" to make muffins can also make pancakes or waffles.

There are TONS of recipe links in the first post of the Daily Chat thread

I'm right there with you! I have gotten down to 183 so many times and just given up. I refuse to do that again!! We can do this

Default newbie Phase 4

hope you don't mind a guy asking a question. I love 50# on IP and ended phase 3 on 4-17. I'm going thru the normal "i'm gaining weight back" syndrome. They told me about 5# was normal so I'm in that range but I worry. I'm in the tour business so 'all the food is free' and I do cruises a lot. So far its pretty easy to make good choices, perhaps easier than if I were cooking, but I admit its a challenge. I'd like to know from other phase 4 people how they are doing? If I'm in the wrong forum please let me know the right one. I like the discussions even if I'm not a 'chick'.

Most of us here are still in phase one through a few veterans pop in. There is a maintainers thread that would likely be very helpful. I read it now just to understand what the future holds

Yep David -- maintainers is where you want the best advice. But you're welcome here anytime!
We all will live vicariously through your "cruise lifestyle". Maybe you can hook us up with a good deal on a low-carb cruise

Good afternoon! It looks like everybody is doing well. I haven't really gotten to know many of you, but I have been gone and running most of this week. I know Diane..right? IP43? and recognize some of you as kind of regular posters

I will have my 2nd weigh in (first full week) tomorrow. I lost 6lbs in the first 5 days so that was fun....just have to keep my head down and keep plowing though, My goal is about 81 lbs. I absolutely love the recipes to keep things a little more exciting, and will be trying a lot more of them this week. I survived 3 parties this week with no slip ups....and company with kids that I had to cook for.

Today I had to say goodbye to my foreign exchange student we host every year and it is so hard to say goodbye. I always say " We'll come visit" but I now have 6 countries to go visit and we are a family of 6....soooooo I'm not sure how many I will actually get to go visit. It is a great experience though.

I'm pretty tired of the 180's myself. Seems like I've been there for a long time. I was really really hungry when I first started IP. Hang in there, I just tried to busy myself so I wouldn't think of it. It will pass soon. I sometimes forget to eat my snack now. If I don't neat it though when it's meal time I feel weak and almost sick.

I was an exchange student oh so many years ago and 30 years later I am still in contact with many of the people I met. There are many I never hear from again, but I still have fantastic memories of that time with them. It is such a life changing thing. Those students will never forget you. And you will be welcome to visit them -- even 30 years from now-- so don't give up that dream to travel.

Thanks Jemma. I managed to get through the day but I was absolutely miserable. I hope after this week I won't be so hungry. I kept busy and went to bed early so I would stop hearing my stomach growl. This diet is really testing my willpower!!
