  • Count me in too! I really would like to be minus 35 by end of September. I am at minus 21 now so it is doable if I stick with the plan. WORK THE PLAN AND THE PLAN WILL WORK!
  • Ok, having difficulty feeling positive this morning. The scale is UP. Yes, I said UP. My lowest weight since starting IP was 142.2. I have been bouncing back / forth between that and 144.4 or so. That was already not the most exciting or rewarding, but now to see the scale go UP to 145.2? That is the first re-breakthrough to the 145 range for weeks.

Yes, I am doing a modified IP. I prefer a higher level of calories and, in doing so, my protein, fats, carbs, and calories are slightly higher. However, I still do keep a food diary and watch all this to ensure I am at eat-to-lose levels of calories and appropriate levels of everything else, then I use ketosticks to monitor. This morning, I showed still in ketosis. Anyway, my point being that there really should be absolutely no way that I haven't lost weight and certainly no way the scale should be creeping up. I get that there will be fluctuations, but this is too much :/
  • Count me in too, I would love to be down at least 20 pounds by september, I'm on day for now and everything is going great. Last night had chicken with roasted cauliflower and a salad. Drinking lot and lots of water and now I feel like I need it...i'm always thirsty so I guess it's a good thing. I almost snapped last night when I was holding my daughter's ice cream cone but I kept thinking :" Do you wanna be skinny or have a lick of this cone?" It did the trick for me.
  • I'm in for the challenge as well. I hope to be down 14lbs by the end of Sept. we have about 7 weeks, lets do it gang

Oh dear, when I first read that I thought with my luck the only thing that could be -35 by the end of September could be the weather. Then I realized you are in Alaska. So cheering you on that you get the right kind of -35!

You can join anywhere you don't have to ask....lol...just drop on in and post. I made a thread for Mississippi/Louisiana people but we have other people in there too. I was just trying to find people close to each other to maybe have a meet and greet one day and share stories face to face. I post on several boards, so just jump right in where ever you want too!
  • Well good morning to everyone..

  • Oh, I am so sorry you are not feeling well. I have had a headache for 6 days but it is because of the high mold content in the air-my allergies.
Don't give up. Just hang in there. One day at a time.
    We are here for you.
  • Yay i did it! I survived day 2! and i survived a wedding!!!! all i ate at the wedding was celery sticks and then some greek salad made with very little cheese..it was awesome! and the best part! I left before the cake came out!!!! which meant i survived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My first victory in the social gatherings department..

    Well..t-minus 15 minutes till day 3 starts!

  • I'm starting day 5 today and jumped on the scale this morning... down 4 pounds and really happy about that. I find the weekend are a little more challenging due to the lack of routine. during the week you get up, get ready,go to work and come back home. weekend are different but I will make it.
  • Wayward - took the Jekyll out with kids in trailer. Bee flew into my helmet. I am terrified of them. I reached up to swat it while on a curve going fast. Wiped out. Sprained my finger, hurt my abdominal/neck/shoulder muscles as well as my ego. Aweeeeeeeeeesome! I am way too cool.
