That seems like a nice long bike ride.

Shy - depends how much I buy! I've started shopping with a hand-carry basket, to ensure I don't buy more than I can carry.

Bet that is really good for you. Wish they would put another little store in where our little general store use to be. Would be a good thing for me to walk there and back.

Oh last night was terrible. I stubbed my darn toe. Have no idea how I do this since my toes are so small but I did it and when I went to do my walking video the darn toe was killing me by the end of the second mile and I just couldn't finish the 5 mile video. Sure hope it does better today or it is going to be another slacker day lol.

This weather is driving me crazy! I've missed 2 skate sessions out of 3 this week, once due to Easter and the rink being closed, and one Weds due to a freak snow (my van's cooling system is bad, so no defroster/heat). Yesterday, it was warm and rainy, so I had every hope of making skating tonight, then I get up this morning and it's snowing again! Aaargh! I'm just crossing my fingers for a warm-up before this evening, but it's almost noon and not looking good for it.

Shy, hope your toe feels better today. It's amazing how such a small thing can hurt so bad!

Amanda, what you said reminded me of being a kid, visiting my gran. She never had a car, so she'd walk to the store once a week with her rolling grocery cart, the kind with 2 wheels, and it folds down flat for storage...anyway, that's how she did her shopping, and us kids used to fight over who got to pull the cart on the way home. I'm sure we drove her nuts, but she never let on, if we did!

Sorry you keep missing your sessions. I know you do enjoy it so. I could have put up with a little pain but evertime I would walk my toe would move up and hit my shoe. After 2 miles enough was enough lol. Good thing I already had a 4miles in for the day.

Ugh, I hated working out today. Almost every minute of it. My body hated it, too. But I felt so good for buckling down and doing it anyway... if that makes sense...

@Shy: Oh, I can sympathize - I stub/crack my little toes all the time because I walk barefoot at home all the time, and last Sunday during a hike I somehow managed to badly bruise my left "index" toe... so annoying and distracting! Hope it gets better soon!

@Cheryl: Isn't this winter lasting forever? I'm so sick of it. Hope you can return to your skating soon!

@Amanda: Yeah, grocery shopping is definitely part of my exercise routine - the nearest grocery store is almost a mile away and we don't have a car. Sometimes it's annoying, but in a way it's good, especially if I don't have much time for structured exercise that day...

Exercise was totally great for me today... I jogged to and from the gym, did back and biceps while there...

Jogging is the one thing I am not allowed to do. I have a slightly enlarged heart and that I guess puts to much pressure on it. I do the intervals in my videos but that is only for a 2 min at a time I think. Sounds like you had a great workout to me.

Heff
There are just some days working out is not fun at all lol. I think those are the days we need it most. I have no idea how I hit my toes lol. I only where a 1 1/2 or 2 size shoe. You wouldn't think my darn toes were big enough to hit on anything lol. It is feeling a bit better now but I hit it so darn hard it broke the nail. I had to wear a different pair of shoes today.

Don't you hate walking shoes. I just bought a pair 5 weeks ago. Pair of Nike shox and they are already shot. They stretched out so much my foot flops all over in them. I got another pair that has a bit more leather in them and less nylon. Hope they last longer. It is real hard to find a darn shoe that fits me. The boxes tend to fit better because my foot is wide lol.
