I know this sounds too simple.... but my goal is just to get a healthy kickstart to my newly designed, easy to follow diet plan to count calories (not points) and use the ipad Livestrong app to journal food.
Been MIA, sorry – still losing though. But I’m kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop, honestly.
I’ve cheated a bit diet-wise this weekend, but strategically when possible. Like a really big lunch from this Mexican place I love that was twice the calories I’d usually have, but then a salad for dinner, so my calories worked out ok.
I’m such a yo-yo dieter usually though I feel like I’m waiting for something to go wrong. I guess my attitude has been different this time? If I screw up I just adjust – Like when I was gone for a week for work, I just came back and dove right in.
I’m making it more about wanting to be able to hike more, and be more healthy, than I want to fit into X by Y date. Maybe that makes all the difference?
183stGB – sorry your legs still feel weird ☹ That happens to me sometimes a few days after a hard strength training day – everything seems really extra heavy. If it’s been days it’s a really god thing you’re checking with the doctor though!
Susan1975 – Aw that’s really rough being sick at that time of the month! Hope you’re feeling better soon!
Boatingmommy – Haha, love that you double-checked your weight with the cat – interesting how we’re less likely to believe good news, right? And congrats on doing so well going out to dinner – that’s sooooo hard to do!
Kelijpa – Congrats on the woosh!
Sum38 – Congrats on losing inches! That’s awesome!
My baby sis was born yesterday! (I'm adopted so we won't be living together but I visit and send gifts) she was 9 pounds 12.5 ounces. She's so cute! Her name is Sophia! They now have 7 kids in the house! So yes this is not my first time becoming a big sister lol YAY I'm making her a baby blanket! I'm so happy and proud!

Actually, that sounds like a plan that is sustainable and will work, well into maintenance.

This morning's weigh-in was 158.4. Still creeping down...
Hi everyone! Glad that Monday is done. I didn't make it out for my weekly Monday night run this week and felt a bit glum about that - got caught up at work and by the time I got in it was too late to run and eat ... so chose to eat!! :-)
Damage from the weekend was only a pound. Would defs have been two if I was drinking. Going to work hard this week and see if I can get to goal... Need a buffer for next weekend (am going to holland to visit family -such a treat!)
Just had comedy moment with other half trying to get my heart rate monitor to work... He has been running up and down the stairs trying to get a reading. Boys and their toys lol!
Imabehot - congrats big sis !!
I83 - bad legs, no exercise, doctors, exams... Sounds like a tough week ahead!! Sure you'll be back on your crossfit soon tho. Fingers crossed...
