I came home and my boyfriend and his friend were hanging out and guess what? My boyfriend tells me he noticed that I look thinner, and his friend said he had noticed too.... I feel awesome!! Only a month and some visible results!
on that note, my boyfriend's been knocking my diet because he doesn't like the idea of low carb/starch/fat....well anything made to diet, or cutting things out, so this was amusing

yesterday when I opened my email I noticed that Saturday night (Sunday morning?) drunk me signed up for a half-marathon in May. A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Nah, I was contemplating about registering for a while, and I guess at that point I had the courage. Well, I never ran that far before, but 5 months should be enough to train for it.
I did not buy anything else though. (which is good, I guess)

Okay, feeling like such a screw up! Totally out of control with the eating and drinking this weekend. Not like a total drunk binge, but those added alcohol calories are a pain! We went to the RV/Camper show and then to eat with friends. I ate only half my sandwhich, but ate chips (I never eat them) and washed it down with a couple of beers. Then yesterday my husband got the smoker out and smoked a bunch of meats (chicken, pork chops, wings). I didn't eat that much, but again, I ate some of the sides that I know are not good for me and washed them down with a couple beers. Ugh...the result being a gain of 5 pounds from last weigh in. NOT GOOD!!! I know a lot of it is water weight, but I keep putting on and taking off the same 5 pounds. I am sitting here with my 34 oz bottle of water. Got to get my head back in the game. Very frustrated with myself.

Weighed myself this morning and was astonished at how much it had jumped - in the wrong direction! Ugh! So disappointing! I am not even going to record it. I usually only weigh in after DownDays for this very reason.
Still, today is a DownDay so I am hopeful I will have a much better weight result tomorrow morning.
According to my Fitbit I reached 10000 steps yesterday, plus I had 66 "very active minutes" and 19 "floors", which sounds about right as I walked some hills yesterday ~ with my ankle weights, wrist weights, and a weighted vest. It's getting easier! I am finally enjoying my walks again rather than dreading them.
NSV: exercise is finally starting to feel good again, instead of feeling like torture.

1/4 - 157 & continued success with no p.m. snacking.

Hoping the wind stops blowing here, wanna get outside to walk with my dog. Would like to go down another pound soon, will write down food intake and observe how I do.

I can't remember my January goal but I think to get under 195 would be great so that's what I'm aiming for now as I think 190 is a little out of my reach, but 3 pounds in 3 weeks I think I can do!
