I'm back, I've finally started recovering from the flu. I was laying in bed for the last 6 days and felt awful. On Saturday I weighed myself at one point and saw that I lost 10 pounds...yikes, not the way I wanted that at all.

I'm back at work again, trying regain my senses. For now I won't weigh in, but perhaps by the end of the week.

Keep up the good work everyone!

Congrats on the whoosh Sum and Jenny !!

Jacqui - whoosh reversal heading your way - she must have got confused and disorientated on her way to you ! Time to put that kettle on and sip on a green tea until she makes her way back!

183 - firstly, yay half marathon! That's one of my goals for 2014. When are you running ? Maybe we can share training plans together? Second, snow!! Any news? Been colder in London today...

NightAngel- will get on the secret filming mission. Used my monitor today. Felt a bit daft, bit geeky and a bit confused all at once!

Good news for me today, dropped that naughty weekend weight. Onwards towards goal now hopefully.

Hi everyone, wow I just got done reading, hope I can remember at least half of what I wanted to say first I want add my voice to the cheers for the support and encouragement on this thread, like Jacqui said we all have our up and down days. I think knowing you can pop in even with a gain makes being off plan shorter, which is great.

boatingmommy look at Sum's progress, she worked out hard like you are through a stall and the weight dropped off, you can do it, too!

imabehot congrats on becoming a big sis again, that's great!

tray glad you're feeling better, wow that's a lot of weight to lose the hard way!

Jacqui you got this, just keep drinking it'll release!

design chick I so know that feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop, in the meantime I keep working my plan and getting further away from the drop zone

stiletto life you're doing great!

Lots of great progress on this thread, can't believe only 10 days left in the month, hope that eventually means some warmer weather...

Best to all

boating that is what my body tends to do too. It doesn't show much the next day but holds all the liquid I take in that day and makes day 2 and 3 and sometimes 4 high.

Hi everyone I'm sorry I didn't weigh in today...in all honesty I'm super scared to...I've worked out for 1 hour and 45 straight minutes of intense cardio yesterday and an hour and 15 minutes of upper body/abs today and been right on track with my food plan...but I'm just worried about the number I had a bad weekend (before I started here) and I'm really scared I'll have gained a bunch of weight and I'll see a number above 165. I'm gonna buck up and weigh myself tomorrow though...hopefully it goes okay

And thank you so much kelijpa and 183StGB for your warm welcomes!!

Good morning

I passed my exam! Woohoo! failure rate was at 50% so I'm glad I made it (even if it's just barely). Takes some weight of my shoulders.
I am at home with my parents now, and the are super adorable. I had serious issues staying on plan with all the temptations laying around when I was home last, so when I arrived they were mega proud to show they moved all the junk food out of the cabinets. It's a little sad they need to do that, but it's super nice they did

Sum38 now that's a serious woosh! I WANT THAT TOO!!!

Jacqui_D no snow! False alarm :/

designchick88 I have days too, when I am just exhausted and need to refuel. I try to go for something non-junky then, like an extra serving ofMüsli. Don't sweat it

NightAngel26 well, if there is one thing I learned from my field trip to the coroner - if you feel like something is wrong with your body you need to have it checked out or you'll DIE. Nah, I'm kidding But better go one time to often than one time to little... and seriously, that doctor hasn't seen skinny me yet, might as well go and collect the high-five

jennybutler357 nice loss!

pnkrckpixikat nice to see you check-in Feel better soon and have fun studying

Minneey My half-marathon date is 5/31 -- so still enough time to train I bought a book that includes a couple 6-week training plans - so I'll do my regular 3x/week running thing and then start on that come April. We should totally check-in with each other's training progress!
Nah, no snow -- really cold though.

RideRunRepeat don't worry about the scale - you did your part! Keep at it!

Have a great day everyone!

Susan, I know how you feel! I'm sooooo closes to the 1's, but I keep hovering around 202 and 204. It's killing me, but I think I might fall off the scale when it shows a 1 as the first number

Keep at it! We'll get there!

Oh my gosh, glad you can't catch the flu through the computer! Sorry to see so many of you have had the bug lately. (Tray, pixikat and others) Hope you recover quickly.

Thank you kelijpa and pixikat for the encouragement. I am going to just keep working out and hopefully it will eventually fall off and take a couple extra with it. At least my body is getting stronger and I can feel the difference in my muscles (less jiggling all over).

Susan - you are very close to onederland! Hang in there, girl! You can do it!

138StGB - That was so sweet of your parents! What a great show of support! Congrats on passing your exam, too!

NightAngel - 9 lbs!!!! Wow, Amazing!

Jacqui - I am thinking of you as I am brewing my next pot of green tea. Hope it works some magic for me.

DesignChick - I am jealous that you can get out and hike this time of year. Our high was 17 degrees yesterday with blowing snow. Oh, how I am dreaming of spring!

Jenny - Looks like your feet are firmly planted in onederland soil!!! Keep up the good work. Nice that you and hubby got to have a day together...I love those days!

Shr1nk1ngme, rsadler, darius, turtle, watchoutforthatcar, stiletto, Sum - EVERYONE I MISSED ~ Hope you ALL have a great day and keep up the good work!!!
