I'm altering my goal. I understand TOM will cause fluctuations but I'm tired of the 160's. So my goal is get to and stay in the 150's for a full 2 weeks. Hopefully by then my body will have gotten used to them and stay there. I hope. I'm just tired of staying in the same 5 lb range.
210.2 this morning!
Start weight 216.6 = loss for Aug. so far of 6.4#
Goal weight 209.6 for august, or loss of 7 lb.s
I am so close to my august goal, now I want to CRUSH it and lose 8 or 9 lb.s!!!
I am so tired of being in the 2-teens!!!
Probably eating out tonight, hope I can stay in the 166.x range.

Aug 22- forgot to weigh this morning
Thanks everyone for your feedback! I bumped my calories up to 1300 and that will be my absolute low and I'll see how that goes for a week or so.
Junebug, you are doing so great! Wonderful job!
Turtle, hope dinner out was good and you don't "pay" for it.
Cincorn, you're doing it! Hope you crush that goal!
Cheeriloo, I never, ever weigh myself at night! I'm too skeered!!
Leah, good luck on your modified goal! I'm not able to write personals daily lately because of my 3 kids very crazy schedules but I do read everyone's post to keep my head in the game.
Jacqui, thanks for the advice. I'm going to try to have a big calorie day Saturday to shake things up a little. Hoping for a whoosh for you!
Tuscany, happy you didn't see a change too. Great job this month!
Bg, I hope you had that steak and it was everything you hoped it would be! Good luck with your weigh in!
I didn't have time to post this morning, I got back from my walk with just enough time to shower and get ready. Yesterday all my good intentions got shot down. I work in a subdivision of the bursars office at my uni, and tuition was due yesterday so it was crazy, the queue was close to 2 hrs long at times, anyways they brought in pizza and cinnamon rolls for the workers for lunch. I had every intention to not give in but after an hour of smelling it before my lunch break I did. No idea what my cals ended up at :s oh well I shouldn't set me back too much. Just gotta expect another spike now
Looks like most everyone is doing great keep it up!
Wow, Pixikat, I don't know how much willpower I could have had under those circumstances either! Oh well, it happens, so just get back OP!
Lene, I think that's a good idea!
Junebug, great job!
Turtle, fingers crossed for you! Of course, even if you go up, it will just be water and will come off again soon.
Cincorn, fantastic! You go, girl!
Leah, no apologies necessary, and good luck with your new goal!
Joy, your explanation that your fluctuation was due to your being on plan made me chuckle. Isn't it the truth?! Our weight does its own thing in its own time, even on plan!
I think you are a little confused. You are headed in the wrong direction. I know 9's and 6's look alike, but I would like to weigh 196, not 199. If you could get together with the whoosh fairy and come up with the correct number by the end of the month, I would appreciate it.
I am SOOOO happy this morning. I did it! I'm no longer overweight! Picture me singing and dancing!
I've been yo-yo dieting for more than 20 years. Everytime I start, my mini-goal is to get below 150, but in my 20 years of dieting I have never succeeded. This morning, I finally got there. A lot of my success is due to 3FC...especially these challenge threads that keep me accountable, along with all the wonderful support I receive from the fabulous people who participate. So, thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! Hugs from me to all:
I will be posting a mini-goal thread with before and after pictures soon, except I have nobody handy to take the after pictures, so I will need a full-length mirror...something I don't have. I will buy one in the next few days and do the pics!

Turtle: I hope you enjoyed your dinner out and that you were able to escape without too much damage!
Lene: Don't worry if you can't always do personals…life with 3 kids can be hectic especially this time of year. Good luck with your next weigh-in.
Joy: It used to drive me nuts when I remained OP and gained…but, as we both now know, those gains are only water and are temporary.
Jacqui: I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you soon hit your goal of 196!
Leah: Hang in there. Provided you remain OP, both in terms of what you're eating and how much, then you WILL lose. That much is certain…although sometimes the trends in our weight loss can drive us nuts. I went through a spell in July where I thought I would never lose, and I too became frustrated. But I stayed OP and the scales finally responded in August. You CAN do this!
Cincorn: Way to go! I hope you get below the 2-teens soon!
Pixi: I hope you aren't penalized too much for your sins.
Woohoo! I'm going to wait a few days to call this goal, though. I had a strange day yesterday and skipped a snack. Tonight I'm going out to dinner. I think it will be a few days before this feels like a sticky weight.
To go from 200 to 199 took me 3 weeks. In fact since I started this time all my weight loss has been incredibly slower than it has ever been. Glacial slow. Glaciers stuck in molasses slow. I was starting to get really frustrated which is why I starting posting here. I was worried that I would quit so I needed the support.
Not only did I get the support but finally I've starting losing weight. I know I didn't do enough to lose almost 3 pounds this week but I figure some of it must be from the weeks I lost nothing. So I'll accept my loss and I will name him George, and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him.
Oh and I will never weigh at night again.
cheeriloos, I'm convinced the scale is a lying liar that lies. Especially at night.
cincorn, congrats on being so close to your goal. Crush it!
junebug37, yeah!!!!
pnkrckpixikat, why oh why do they always bring in junk to feed people at work? Don't think I could hold out against that either.
Jacqui_D, I'm willing to join in the chant to show your body the right number. 196! 196! 196! 196!
Tuscany, What a great achievement! There aren't enough words or emoticons to do justice to what you've done. I'm so very happy for you.
gardenerjoy, even if you aren't officially counting it - congrats!
