Buzzy, I also love that this thread is so active. It really helps to keep me motivated and I also feel accountable when I post daily, which keeps me on track. I don't want to let everyone down.

I was down to a new low of 178 this morning. I'm hoping it sticks since that we get me 35% of the way to my goal. I really would like to hit a goal for a change. I have not made one weight loss goal by the date I wanted to so far, but I think this one I will be able to do. I had to learn a bit more about how I actually lose weight. It came off so fast the first couple of weeks & then screeched to a stop! But it's coming off, slowly.

Have a great day all,
Kim

Sigh, it seems that my body doesn't like me feeling healthy and energised :P As a result of the antibiotics I am still taking, I ended up having bad gastrointestinal trouble last night (one hour before going to work in the night school), and I ended up having to leave earlier. Doctor told me to do an even stricter diet to put my bowels into proper function. Making the cyrcadian rythms diet without vegetables and fruit is surely hard :S Though it seems that taking some probiotics has made me feel better. Btw, yesterday I was totally bloated, which I was also blaming on the oatmeal I ate on Wednesday (though I think it was also an inffluence).

Stress had also had something to do, seeing as how the kids at school gave me a **** of a time! And trying to be totally strict in my diet is not going well with my gastric reflux (eating too many tomatoes and citrics).

So, I have decided to do a few slight changes in my diet: a) reduce/supress citrics (except for some lemon juice for dressing and orange juice in ocassions); b) supress coffee (I had been successful in that last year, actually); c) have an apple for my afternoon snack instead of the tangerines I was having (even if I am not supposed to eat it in the afternoon; I prefer to have a healthy digestive system).

I managed to keep in plan as much as possible given the circumstances and it seems that my body has decided to settle down, yay!

After not wearing them in about 10 days, I put on my black jeans...and they are very loose, yay I took this picture to send to my boyfriend and he says the progress is showing lots =^.^=

Also, I got asked by student which diet I was using, as it was showing so much :3

I'm still alive. Our Bible study is over for the summer, but the last week was busy! I spent most of yesterday napping, LOL.

Its a pretty day outside, I have the windows open to take advantage of the nice weather. Each year our pecan tree drops these 'green fuzzy worms' and they are everywhere outside. yuuck! I took April outside to brush her so I didn't end up having to vacuum the fur up inside.

Hubby was able to sneak away and have lunch with me today. One advantage to living so close to his work.

I am hoping to get into a new schedule, of course I have to make it up first. but I've been slacking on my exercise and not paying much attention to what I eat. We took April {the month not our dog!} off from dieting to eat foods that would help Hubby's acid reflux heal, which seems to be working! Yay! We haven't been eating badly, just eliminating spicy, onions, peppers, garlic, tomatoes, citrus, etc. The good news is he's feeling a lot better!

Teacher, good job! its nice to have your hard work recognized. Seems you and Hubby are having the same problems!

Did pretty well today. Stayed pretty close to calories goal. Didn't get any exercise but stood at game in freezing cold walking around trying to stay warm for 2 hours so hopefully I burned a few calories. Hope to do better tomorrow.

@patchworkpenguin: Thanks! Aye, it seems so! Acid reflux can be a pain in the neck Good to hear he is feeling better! I have sadly woken up with bad reflux in the past few days, but that should improve soon, seeing as how I have dropped coffee, tomatoes and citrics (I can't really leave garlic, seeing as how I also eat salt free, but I will be leaving it for lunch).

My body decided to return to its more or less normal self today, which meant I could do my diet more or less properly :3 No exercise, though, as I wasn't feeling very well in the morning (bad night sleep) and I was trying to do some work (which I ended up not doing, sigh). If weather is nice tomorrow, I will try to go for a walk. At least, since this morning I don't work at night (thanks to a lack of buses because of the May 1st holiday), I can go to the gym in the evening

Oh, and one of our puppies managed to, somehow, squeeze her not so tiny self (she is 7 months old and a medium-small size) through the wire mesh fence and crossed to the neighbours' house to play with their dog. So my dad and me spent some time trying to get her back (the neighbours weren't home). We ended up getting her by way of making her stand on a stump, and my dad grabbing her when she did so (we spent several minutes trying to make her do that).

OK, I'm in for 20 pounds by July 4th. I think it's a bit optimistic but if I work through this I will be soooo very happy with myself with whatever result I get.

I'm still here, guys! I'm actually surprised I've been maintaining my weight because I have been not following any plan to the letter right now. We are having some major financial difficulties and I've been stressing something awful. Just when I start getting back on track, another financial problem occurs and sends me over the edge and I eat something I shouldn't to cope. I know...it solves nothing! But, like I said, I am thankful I'm at least maintaining. I would appreciate some prayers for my family and myself that things turn around soon. Thanks in advance.

Hope you are all doing well and having great success. I'm sorry for not being around here much and don't mean to be such a bummer.
