  • Kim - your post was the perfect thing for me to read! I had friends over last night and had a couple more wines than I meant to and of of course picked away at the food that went with it.

    I was just getting on here to get some inspiration to get back on the wagon and there was a post giving perfect advice about just getting on with it. And so I will!!

  • Yesterday was our last day of Bible study class, next week we have 2 luncheons to end the year off with parites! I got a migraine during class yesterday so I've spent most of my time on the couch or in bed. Thankfully, I"m feeling better. Hubby took some time off work but no one covered his spot so he's had to work late each day since to play catchup!

    Someone got our cc number and ordered hockey tickets, not even for the Penguins team, but at least we got that straightened out.
  • I have been sick since Wednesday (first diagnose was pharyngitis) and I had to see a doctor again because I had been feeling pretty bad. So, it seems I have pharyngitis and tonsilitis, plus fever (which I never have)...in short, a nice case of the flu! There goes my long weekend

    I have been keeping well in plan, in fact, even eating less thant Iam allowed and not being hungry, especially today, since I have been feeling so bad (I have just added a teaspoon of 0 fat white cheese to my little dinner).

    Exercise has been a bit on the short side for me, due to being very busy and having tendinitis to top it. Once I am recovered, I will start walking or riding my bike for exercise, since it would cost nil and I will be able to get more sunlight (my dad's advice).

  • I'm feeling better today but I'm afraid to do much activity for fear of the migraine coming back. Our current temp is 55* with a windchill of 51*brrr! so I've spent most of the day cuddled on the couch! We've already had temps int he 90s this year, what is it doing being so close to 40s again! At least the sun has come out again.

  • Well, I started my journey on the 4th of July 2011, it only makes sense for me to make goal for the 4th of July 2012! I'm currently at 188.8 and want to be at 170 for July 4!

  • I weighed myself yesterday morning and I have gone under 104, huzzah! :3 Although I will update my weigh tomorrow.

    Thank you! I am feeling better already. The worst part was Friday (hadn't had high fever in 5 or 6 years and it suuuucks).

  • I have just weighed in

    9/4: 105.1 kilos
    16/4: 104.8 kilos (PMS, mainly)
    23/4:103.1 kilos

    So, that's about 4,5 pounds in 2 weeks. Not bad for how much trouble I have had with exercise (being extra busy, with tendinits and the flu).

    I am thinking of ways to exercise more. Up to the moment, I have decided that on Saturdays and Sundays, I will go for either a walk or to ride my bike (for exercises and much needed sunlight). Then, on Tuesdays, while I can't go for any of that (very busy day and I really can't do any exercise or I will end up too tired to work in the evening school), I will add a bit of walking to buy my food. There is a supermarket 5 or 6 streets away from the school, with the last couple streets being a bit uphill. I did that last Tuesday and I felt great, as the way is beautiful, and it was very relaxing to walk without having to carry any heavy bags :3

  • Weighed in this morning. Down three pounds. That's a good start. My eating wasn't exactly great but I kept up with yge exercise the last few. TOM is on his way to visit someone else so hopefully my urge to snack will go with him.
