Today after Bible study one of my friend took me and another lady who both have birthdays this month out to lunch; we had both made handmade gifts for her new twin grandsons earlier in the year, and this was her thank you.
Hubby has taken Fri - Mon off this week and his 'off days' will change to Sun Mon. We are hoping to get some projects done around the house. Sat my parents are coming over for dinner.
Good morning everyone. It's nice to see a bunch of new faces! I hope you all will stick with us the whole challenge. It seems like we have a bunch of drop outs in every challenge I'm in. It really blows because I get to know people & then they stop posting, but I still wonder how they're doing. So keep updating ladies! If you mess up, let us know we can encourage you to get back on track, if you stay on track let us know, you can encourage us to stay on track. This is hard, but it seems a little easier when you have people to talk to who understand.
Sandy, I think you're going to be out of the 190's pretty soon. I have faith in you & you can do this. Just stick with it girl!
Well yesterday was a total bust but today I am doing pretty well so far. My husband has been gone for work but will be back tonight so hopefully the stress eating will stop. Hope everyone has a great on plan day
Hi Folks! I haven't been around in a couple of weeks so never actually finished off the Easter Challenge. As many of you know, I had been struggling with some health issues involving severe upper abdominal pain. Long story short, I ended up in hospital for 8 days with gall stones that blocked a duct setting off acute pancreatitis and liver distress. It has been horrific to say the least! I still need to return to have my gallbladder removed. The surgeon let me know that the 60lbs. I lost in 4 months was very quick and could have contibuted to the gall stone formation .
I am still off work for a while and don't want to lose track of my committment to weight loss so hope I can jump in here again. I had joined a July 4th challenge at the beginning of February with a goal to get to 275 so I will keep with that goal.
Vicki, I'm so sorry to hear about your health issues. That must be so frustrating, especially when your weight loss been going well. I really admire your ability to keep motivated and focused despite the pain and stress of it all. Way to go! See you around here!
Hi Ladies.
I used to do these challenges way back in the way back. It's been a while.
Currently I am fighting with a bloat in the scale. No idea why it is moving up instead of down, but it is quite frustrating. This week, I am cutting my sodium intake in hopes that too much is causing water retention and cutting back will make the scale move in the correct direction.
Happy Friday everyone! I am working to get back to my low of 217 I have been working really hard I have started jogging again and its really helping with the lbs. I hope you all have a fab weekend!
Happy Friday everyone. I'm in a much better mood today. Yeppers, the scale dropped a whopping pound from yesterday. Yay! So this means I'm now down .2 from where I was on my 4/4 weigh in. Not that impressive, but since I was up 2.5 pounds on Monday I'm happy. I'm hoping that by my official weigh in on Wednesday I'll be even lower. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I know losing 2 pounds in two days means it was obviously water that my body was holding onto, which I kind of figured the gain had to be, but it's nice to see it going back down.
This weight loss stuff is hard, but thankfully I have ya'll to vent to when things don't go right.
Good morning and happy Saturday everyone. I have a busy day planned but also have a cookout to go to today. Really gonna try hard to stay on plan. Going to my nephews baseball game so hopefully can get a chance to walk around the park while I am there to get in some exercise. Everyone have a good weekend.
I've had a rough couple days, but I managed to lose another .8, so I'm down to 192.6 this morning. My goal for April is to get out of the 190s, and it's looking good.
