Sarge: No, apparently not.

Once I can get my body back under my control though everything else will seem a lot easier to tolerate.
Me1st, Resolute, tubbaki, K3LL3Y, rmc, Courtney, Kendra, Cheshire, MadamB - Congratulations on the losses this past week!!
envelope: Could it be the running? Not that you shouldn't do it, just maybe a reason the scale isn't down more for you this week. For me, any running at all causes water retention in my legs - the scale immediately goes up 2 or 3 lbs, and I can literally feel the extra water in my thighs. Either way, don't get discouraged. The weight WILL come off if you keep doing what you're doing.
K3LL3Y: Congratulations on the 40 lb milestone, and moving out of the obese category!

That must be such an awesome feeling!!
Courtney: TOM is always an issue for me too. Despite what others might say about water retention not being something "real", I know my body and know what my hormones do to it (my 7 lb drop this week is certainly evidence of that - I didn't gain and then lose 7 lbs of fat the past two weeks). Managing any loss though when you're fighting them is awesome, and have fun when that big whoosh comes for you in a few days.
Kendra: I'm glad you got a jump start on the training, and I hope the new schedule this week goes smoothly. Good luck with it!
Cheshire: You're still losing, so you're clearly doing a decent job with your eating. I know scheduling it can be a challenge, but it too can become routine. Good luck with focusing on it this week!
MadamB: We'll be rooting for you to make it to the 140s this week!!
Time for me to jump back in.
Pledge for the coming week is 1.5 lbs, which I should be able to do with diet alone if I keep to under 1300 cal/day this week. If I get the ok from the Dr., I'll hopefully be able to add in some exercise as well and post some miles next Sunday.
