Afternoon platoon!
I had a great 6 mile bike ride this morning. It's way too hot outside, but being on a bike makes it bearable with the wind whipping by.

I have to get motivated to clean up the house now. My lunch stretched into an hour and a half of laying on the couch. Oy!

So I just wanted to pop on and soak up some motivation from you guys!

CourtneyDaisey - I think I need a 100% sweets free week too. Grrrr. Chocolate is my downfall. So far I am doing good on the general weight loss even with some planned chocolate. However, I don't even want to know how much more I could drop if I cut out the choc!

Kendra - I saw your pictures on the goal thread too. Holy!!! What an achievement! About stopping at 135 or going for 125, I heard that lots of maintainers weren't able to stop the weight loss right away anyways. So it might work for you too without effort. I have a goal and a stretch goal and a "stop losing" weight :-) Just to be prepared!

Sarge - loved your kiss a... animation. Haha! Unfortunately TOM is a b**** this month and I can barely sit at work without dying. No running for me this week. And believe me I hate that!!! Surprisingly enough, this lazy bum is missing the workout. I will get back to C25k on Sunday. Still on track regarding the weight loss though.

Hi gang!

Once again, you're all impressing me with how you're rocking this week!
MadamButterfly with 16 miles!
Kendra making goal
Cheshirecat sweating through 6 miles in the intense heat
Rated for the scale being down and getting back on track today
CourtneyDaisey making this week's 10 mile goal
diyanna, muscling through the PT
Me1stAllways, working it out on the treadmill despite feeling like lard. (BTW, lard would have been home sitting on the couch! You are def not lard!)

Everyone else who gets out of bed everyday and tries their damnedest!

Logged 12 miles at the gym today between the bike and the treadmill. I've been alternating doing more cardio on the days I don't do strength training. I really could do the strength training everyday - it's not that intense (yet) and/or I could just work different muscles. But, I like to mix it up so I don't get bored - cardio, weights, the occasional class thrown in. My hub was supposed to work all weekend, but had a schedule change at the last minute, so he'll be around. Yay - among other things, that means he's going to give me a beginner's tutorial on using the free weights.

I'm not big on strangers touching me, so I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the pedicure. Until I sat down in the massage chair with my feet soaking in delicious bubbly water, while my calves were sugar scrubbed and massaged. Good lord, I did not want to get up! I spent the entire time figuring out how I could move my son out of his room and one of those chairs in!! Heaven.

I used to be a yoga nutt, but got bored (can you say ADHD lol) so I started Pilates, but this looks tuff...double tuff actualy. She has a few of the "core movements" from my 4hour body (ex. the plank ) and they are girly exersizes (meaning to tone but keep your sexy curvs ) I think it looks like a sweat n scream session (love it) and if you decide to get it ~ let me know, I will grab 1 and start it with ya

Hello everyone,

Sorry I have been MIA this week. I'm getting ready for a trip. I won't be any where near a scale till Tuesday evening so I'm weighing in now.

I was down my 3 pounds for this week this morning.

Sarge lost 3/ pledge 3

Have a great weekend everyone.

MadamB you might be right about overdoing it, still i've been struggling with keeping my cals low, if i can't do that i have to exercise above and beyond to maintain some sort of negative. Problem with that is it kills losses by creating stress, ugh...

Anyways still giving it all, perhaps not as intelligent as i need to be but hanging in there.

I appreciate all the well wishes, so generous and kind, i hate when i feel down, wish i felt more like participating fully, hopefully this lifts soon.

Gonna try and buckle down this weekend, still stuck on 202 pounds, will try and take a rest day sunday, ( I haven't taken a day of rest this year yet. ) Need to focus more on eating ( calories ) i think.

Wishing the best for everyone.

GOOD MORNING PLATOON!!!!

Jeanettey - I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!! You go girl!!!!!! 3 pounds! WOOT!

Today's Saturday. LAST CHANCE WORKOUT!!!!! I don't plan on being online much today because I have a lot of stuff to get done. While my husband's working today I need to get the laundry done and stuff as well as get in a good workout at home! Last night at a different Wal-Mart I bought the 30 Day Shred! I am going to do that today for the first time. I hope it kicks my butt-er good!!!! After all It's Jillian. It should!

I am so ticked off though! I've behaved ALL WEEK and yesterday TOM decided to descend upon me. GRRRR!!!!! This morning's pre-weigh in pek shows a 2 lb. gain! Dammit! I know it's water but still....CRAP! So, I am going to work my butt-er off today and try to sweat that water off!

This evening we're doing taco salads at my mom's house for dinner. I am cooking so I guarantee they will be healthy! I also am going to watch my portion, use a smaller plate, and put more lettuce than anything else on the plate. It will be a yummy, healthy dinner! Oh, I gotta make my salsa today too! I make homemade salsa and it's yummy!

Have a great day and I look forward to seeing positive results from all of us tomorrow....including myself! TOM will NOT control me dammit!!!!!!

Good morning Platoon!

Jillian's Yoga Meltdown looks fun! And challenging. If I didn't have my routine set in place I would be tempted to get it too!

7 mile run this morning with a 1 mile cool down walk.
It was such a great run. I kept thinking that I had to have mapped it wrong because it didn't feel like 7 miles! Yay for great runs.

RMC-That's great your husband can help you with the weights. I've been using mine more frequently this last month and have really enjoyed them. I'm thinking of getting a barbell soon for dead lifts (I don't have access to a gym).

Anyone have the Vibram 5 finger shoes?
http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/bar...ot_running.htm
The funkiness of the design grabs my attention but the cost ($100.00+/- pair) kind of makes me vomit a lill bit.
Im new to the treadmill and running and have heard of people getting black toe nails/blisters/planters warts/falling off toe nails from running (well that doesn’t sound pretty at al lol) and Im keen on the idea of NOT experiencing these things lol. So I have heard that these 5finger shoes thingies can help ect... Let me know if you have tried them or know of someone that recommends or discourages purchasing a pair. Thanks.

Madam butterfly ... Your on chicka Im grabbing it today (Wal-Mart $8.00) and fully prepared to make a fool of myself while attempting these ridiculously diff poses ANYONE else up for a try as well?

CourtneyDaisey ... What is TOM?
I also make homemade salsa's, so easy, healthy, sugar free and damn tasty. I got the NINGA blender thingy specifically for it cuz I make so much...takes 4min lol

jojotheyoyo ..."Meanwhile I am really enjoying the Trek and my 5 miles a day...rain or shine!" ... now THATS commitment baby!

Jeanettey ... down 3! sweet
