Kendra - WAY TO GO GIRL!!!!!! That is soooooo awesome!!!!!!!!
GOOD MORNING PLATOON!!!!!
I think today Kendra deserves a HUGE round of applause!!!!!
Yesterday I didn't get in any exercise at all, unless you count grocery shopping (which I didn't count). I got off work at 4:30PM, went and picked up my youngun', and met my mom at the grocery store. After we got to her house I had to separate her groceries and mine, write her a check for my part, get Brenna fed, and then we packed my groceries in my car and finally we headed home. Brenna and I got home around 9:30PM last night. She headed straight for bed and I put away the groceries. Then it was time for my husband to come home from work and we headed for bed too. I let myself down by not having time to get in any exercise yesterday. I have plans to hit the office gym today though while on lunch break!
I am so ready for this weekend! Just another two days of work and we can be away from the office for a couple of days! I have weekend plans to go kayaking with my friend! That's going to be fun!

KENDRAB -- JOB WELL DONE SOLDIER, YOU ARE SARGE'S VERY FIRST TO GOAL!! IN HAVING GONE ABOVE & BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY IN YOUR ACTIONS AGAINST OBESITY YOU ARE HEREBY AWARDED THE PLATOON'S FIRST MEDAL OF HONOR!:
HOW ABOUT THE REST OF YOU?!?!?! SARGE DOESN'T WANT TO HEAR ANY EXCUSES ABOUT WHY YOU CAN'T WORKOUT OR WHY YOU MADE BAD FOOD CHOICES. IT'S TIME TO FOCUS ON YOUR OWN GOALS!!!
NOW STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER, GET OUT THERE AND MELT YOUR BUTT-er OFF!
Great job Kendra! You should really proud of yourself - you are definitely an inspiration to the rest of us!
And congrats to MADAMGOOEY, RESO (aka Resolute), CHESHIRE, & PEANUTT. My biggest problem has always been "sticking with it", so I really admire your perseverance. And Sarge, you are a tower of strength - thanks for kicking butt when necessary.
Just back from the gym where I put in 6 miles and strength training. I don't have to cart any kids today, so I plan to go back this evening for another round.
CongratulationsKendra!! Awesome job! Enjoy that extra spring in your step I know you have today!
I did some Wii Dance then my workout from New Rules of Lifting.
I have a 6 mile walk planned later this afternoon. Going to pick up the some geocaches too while I'm out there. Should be fun.
Guess what?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I hit my goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 135.1 this morning! Sure, I'm .1 away, but I'm sure after all the jumping, running to my bedroom to freak out and tell my hubby, dancing around, and then getting in a bad@ss exercise, that that .1 is gone forever!
I just cannot believe this. 215 pounds on July 15th and I have lost 80 pounds and my baby girl isn't even a year yet. I really never thought this was going to happen and it almost didn't! In March I had given up.In April my friend got me back in the mindset I needed to be in but it was when I joined this group that I really started busting my butt! A huge thank you to everyone here who has helped me through all of my mess ups and emotions and kept me on track. It means more to me than you'll ever know
I need to get ready for my orientation. I'm in such a good mood that I could give a crap less that I'm not a McDonalds employee. Nothing is knocking me down this morning!!!!
Wow!!! Congratulations! I can't even imagine how that feels.
Last night while at my mom's house I think I pulled a ligament or something in my knee. It hurts and pops every time I walk. But I didn't want to let that deter me from getting in some gym time on lunch break. So I went upstairs and concentrated on the weight machines. My arms are so going to be SORE tomorrow! Speaking of sore, bring on the push ups tonight!!!! Gotta enjoy that ache! I hope that my knee feels better by the time I get home. I know this sounds weird, but I REALLY want to take the dog for that 3 mile walk this evening! If not, I'll have to find some exercises in the house that I can do. I just really want to add some miles to my week! I look forward to hitting my goal of 10 miles this week and am over the halfway point!
Jeanettey - Motivation is a probem for me today and I'll vent about that on my blog tonight when I make a post. But my husband is really making it difficult to remain cheat free. It's REALLY not nice when he's eating a slice of egg custard pie, takes the fork with a little bit on it, and sticks it right in my face asking me to have some. I successfully pushed it away and told him that I wanted to stick with my 100% cheat free plan. He eventually stopped bugging me, but I want him to respect the fact that I WANT to make this work! You know, we have ice cream and pie in the house right now and I am not even tempted to try even a smidge of any of it! Why can't he respect that? Oh well. I will continue to remain strong and run from the temptation! I will persevere! I hope things are going well for you and no family members are trying to force feed you pie!
Courtney - I agree with Sarge about what to tell hubby. I hope your knee feels better soon. As much as you can, use R.I.C.E. (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation). Good for you for doing an upper body workout at lunch time. on resisting temptation.
Sarge - Great job on all those "machine miles"! You burned over 1,200 cals? That's outstanding!!
but first a trip to the grocery store and a few other errands
Still to come today . . . can you say ROUND 3!!!
If RMC can do 2, then certainly I can do 3 . . .
100 push ups AND maybe
JM's No More Trouble Zones . . .
JM, I LOVE YOU
TOMORROW STARTS LAST CHANCE WORKOUTS . . .
MAKE IT COUNT
AND
MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!
