So i need to be more accountable again, gonna force myself to post regular updates again, might be pretty bland and straight forward, still seems to help, document the days if nothing else...
Anyways was a decent day, ended up walking my 6.2 miles then did a 10 mile bike ride this evening and wow did i ever drop the hammer on that ride.
Wow are there ever a lot of newbies... Hi everyone, also i'd like to thank everybody Still it's time to get real and finish this... another 10 or 20 pounds and i just might think i've done something. I weigh less than half of what i used to, holy crap !
Anyways, figured onederland is as good as any time to take another comparison shot, seems the before pics which i had already lost weight are from july 1st last year, so a near year on year comparison, damn, it's been a struggle/fight, but what you can do in a year when you search your heart and soul for strength is actually almost worth it.
Oh ya, i treated myself to a new bunny hug today also.
Reso, you look fantastic!!!!! What a fabulous transformation! You da man!!!!! I cannot WAIT to see that you've hit goal! I'll be jumping for joy!!!!
MadamB - Sarge....taking a NAP! Uh oh! It's on like Donkey Kong now! Watch out! You're gonna get it!
Welcome to the new recruits! Glad to have you here!
I have a VERY ambitious week planned out for myself. I have planned about an hour's worth of exercise each day during the work week between 30 Day Shred and the office gym. I also need to find a way to get in more exercise this upcoming weekend. My yard won't need mowing so I'll have to find a different physical activity to do.
Last night my best friend came over. My husband, my daughter, my friend, and I all went geocaching. Do any of you geocache? It's fun! We were out for a couple of hours and found 3 caches. Brenna really enjoys it too. Maybe I can cache for a few hours this upcoming weekend.
Well I'd better get off the computer and get to work. Back to the Monday morning grind. I'll check in after I hit the treadmill on lunch break!
Resolute you look sooo awesome (handsome)!!!! You have inspired me to pick it up a notch ! Thanks so much for posting your pictures ! Wonderful Job ! You have a powerful mind, because that is what it takes. You can do anything.
Good morning everyone, LOL i don't look that great anymore, getting old and worn out i think Anyways i will agree i look a little better than i used to, couldn't have looked much worse, ughhhh... i remember those were about the only clothes i could even fit in, now i have tons of stuff i can wear.
Still gonna see about shaving a few cals off my norm today while i maintain my activity level at it's current high.
I do believe i am going to aim for 185 next, it's not a whole lot more but i remember weighing that and being happy once upon a time... a million years ago it feels.
Have a good day everybody, every day is one step closer.
Rainbow : Nice to see you around, hope life is treating you better, the last year was one of upheaval for me, i didn't know where life would take me, i put all my faith into my journey and it's been an anchor for me, truthfully it has defined my spirit and will to fight, everything good that came from this year is a result of my choice to never surrender... Ughhh, don't make me cry this morning... Bleh.
Reso - You really are AMAZING! Last night I was watching some episodes of Extreme makeover weightloss addition and was inspired. This morning I see your pics and short version of your story and I am completed AWWWED and AMAZED! On extreme weightloss, they have the coach, the new equipment, and all that comes along with the show. You did it on your own!!!
My scale decided to start moving down this morning...a day late for weigh in, but I'll take it!!!
For anyone not following along with the BL challenge chat threads, I'd just like to point out that the platoon took home the top 3 spots on the red team this week, with K3LL3Y as the biggest loser! WTG K3!!
Reso - Congrats on Onederland! You look FANTASTIC!! The progress you've made is truly AWESOME and inspiring!! Thanks for sharing the photos! You say you "look a little better" than you used to. Dude, you look FANTASTIC! Not old or worn out!! Please don't sell yourself short! You've accomplished so much, and through your weight loss...you've gained health, fitness and a youthful vitality. I love the hoodie pic especially. Smile, Reso! You deserve to be ecstatic about all you've accomplished through your hard work, struggle and dedication! I'm new here, so I'm not aware of the depth of your struggles and difficulties...but it sounds pretty profound. on your never surrender attitude!
Courtney - That is a really ambitious week of exercise! You can do it! Geocaching is great fun and a good way for the family to get exercise together! DH and I used to go hiking and geocaching a lot before I hurt my back.
As for me, I was able to walk 4 miles at a festival yesterday (granted I had to use my walker that has a seat so that I was able to rest a couple times when my back cried "No Mas"). But still I did A LOT better than I thought I would. Today, I'm either going to go to the gym or do the Wii Fit for at least 1/2 hour.
Honestly it's a 3 way tie. Peanutt had the same weight loss as I did and Kendra had a higher percentage. Glad to be in such great company though. Keep it up ladies
