Good morning ladies! A super fast fly by post for me today and I'm bummed because I'd love to do personals! But, I have a million things to do today! Basement needs attention, Ry needs help with his spider project, hubby's building me more shelves which means I need to go pick up a new drill driver for him, I may have to go take pics this afternoon (keeping my fingers crossed I do that way I don't have to do it tomorrow) and I need to email the eBay jerk who sold me my P90X because my Kenpo dvd is tweeked ...of course there's more stuff to do, but the more I type the less I get done right? Right!

So, I'll be back later to catch up and post personals. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and that you all be good to yourselves!!!

Now get out there and don't forget to...

Drink Your Water!!!

Peace out homies!!!

Afternoon Ladies

Well I didn't do to bad on the scale today at my meeting...I'm down another 1.2 pds for this week and I've already passed my goal for the month of losing 5 pounds...(5.4 lost, so far) and the month isn't even over yet!
It's been exactly 3 months since I've started WW and I've lost 26...woOt! I couldn't be happier

Another rainy day, but a good chance for me to get things done around the house that I've been putting off.

Have a wonderful day and keeping on working towards your goals!

nellonello~ 2 lbs. is still decent! :kick butt: You can do this!

Tummy Girl~ You’re not cheap, just thrifty! Our snow keeps melting, which is driving me a little crazy as I LOVE winter… even though it’s over a month early here…

jellofer2~ Did you join today?

GivTLC~ Congrats on 1.2lbs.!!!

Shrinking Girl~ How did your weigh-in go today? 25 lbs. Is AWESOME!

natamars~ WELCOME!!! Great goals!

iDream~ Sounds like a crazy busy day!!!

I’ve been sucked into the Lifetime movie “Odd Girl Out” and am feeling a lot of frustration for the girl as it reminds me a lot of the crap I went through in high school. I woke up with a sore throat and crappy runny nose this morning so I am really trying to just lay low for now. Once the movie is over, I’ll probably crash for a bit and take a nap. Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!

i haven't really been a part of any of the afterchatter, which i must say im sad about, haha.

I've been doing well with controlling myself while out with friends!

i also have a kinda OT question: i used to put my SW (in the SW/CW/GW this under my name) as 275 because thats where i was when i joined here. i changed it this morning to 286 because thats where i started when i was trying on my own before joining.

so i guess my question is if your SW is where you were when you joined here, or where you were when you started 'in general'? cause i almost feel like im cheating by putting it at 286 when its said 275 for weeks now .

Hope i'm not too late for this .
In the next two weeks I want to lose 3 pounds or more.
Drink a lot more water and stop drinking too much juice.
Work out everyday or at least 4 times a day.
Stop eating bread and potatoes which are my weakness :/.

Hey everyone...quickie post here just to say "hi" mostly. Also a little bummed because as I mentioned on the exercise thread, I have some pain my right foot. My mom recommends I stay off my foot until the pain is gone. She's an RN, so I usually take her advise, but I REALLY don't want to stop. I ran with the pain today and it was no better or worse afterwards. I have it wrapped now and I'm planning to elevate it this evening and stay off it. We'll see. Well, today has been OP and good otherwise. Hope all you fine ladies have a great weekend!
P.S. Weight is still doing it's .2 fluctuations. Don't get it, but oh well. At least I know I'm eating right and getting my consistant exercise.

Jellofer: I hope the gym joining goes well and that the cold is truly on its last legs.

Tummy - do you have a link to the 20K training podcast you were telling SG about? I am just starting with training to run, but I have already fallen in love with it. I have the C25K stuff of course and I have 8K and 10K training podcasts, but I would love to have one for 20K for when I eventually get there. I hope you enjoy the nice weather while it lasts.

Sandye: I’m sorry about your dvd player issues.

GivTLC: Congrats on already passing this months goal and on 26 in 3 months, great work!

HeyHeyGabby: My SW is what it was when I first started, months before I came to 3FC.

MsPerception: Ouch! I hope your foot is better soon. Your mom probably is right but if you can’t handle resting please do pay close attention to how it feels while your working out.

Wow, yall are quiet today. I had some excitement today - I ran at 5.9 mph for 90 seconds and I ran at 6mph for 30 seconds. I also ran for 5 minutes straight at my normal turtle rate of 3.4mph. I know that is not much at all compared to what you chicks do, but I am totally new to the running thing, so for me it was major awesomeness.

Hiya ladies--just a quick flyby. Just got in from the day at my parents and am about ready to collapse. It is only 10 and I shouldn't be this tired, but I ate a piece of cake with really sugary cream cheese frosting, and ice cream and I think it sent me into a sugar comatose or something because I am literally about ready to pass out. Tomorrow morning we are leaving to go see the ex so won't be back until Monday or Tuesday. I will do personals then, but did want to stop by and say thanks for everyone telling me to take it as a compliment. That is how I took it at first, but then I suppose the negative side of me just popped up. Anyways, thanks everyone!
Weighed in for the week this morning since I'll be up too early to do it tomorrow, and I weighed in under 243! That means I have lost 6 pounds this week and almost 6 last....Holy crap! I was hoping for a big whoosh after that TOM from heck, but this was more than I could have hoped for. Of course I am sure after my cake and ice cream tonight it will be up again, but that is okay. I am okay with weight gain when I know what caused it. Okay, I really must go crash...am hoping DD will go to sleep with me as she is wired and I can barely keep my eyes open...this should be fun!

Quiet day today, huh? I am planning to do my run in the afternoon, just to feel out my foot for the day. If it hurts badly by then, I'll skip it and find something else to do. If it feels the same as yesterday, I'll give it a go and see what happens.
I saw a new low on the scale today, which was a fantastic thing since the scale has refused to budge much the last couple weeks. So, here I sit at 141.8, only .8 from a healthy BMI. Hope the progress continues...

Tummy I am gonna stick with HOT!!! You really do look great in your photos and if the shoe fits wear it sister!!!! This cold is rough, but getting better. Took the doggie out for a walk yesterday. So will try that and have to mow the lawn today. That will be a great walking working. 1/2 all hill no ride on mower.

KimL1214Yes ma'am. I did join the gym yesterday. First workout there will be tomorrow after work. I think I am just gonna walk the treadmill and do a little light leg work. take my time the next few days. Then it is back into the C25K program. I think I may have to go back a couple weeks becuase of this cold, but that is ok.

IdreamI am feeling your motivation vibes comin my way. I gotta lot to get done today and this week. But I know that we can geterdone!!!

TakarixvxWelcome aboard. Just stick to your plan and keep your goal in sight. Any low carb hi protein questions let me know. There is also a great forum for low carb dieting on this website if you have any questions. Best wishes to ya!!!

MPSo sorry to hear about that foot. I have to agree with your mom (RN here also). But I am the same way you are. If I doesn't get worse I keep going. I would try icing it a few times per day. Try freezing a few small paper cups 1/2 filled with water then after you workout ice it. Also frozen bags of peas or corn work well and you can always refreeze them. When I started c25k my shins started to hurt and so I iced them. At least 3 times per day. Shortly it went away. I am sure now that I haven't ran in over a week it will start all over again. But ice usually helps me.

Mystical Glad to see you back!!!

JessicadoYou are totally killing it girl.

MpJust caught your new post. Those new scale numbers are great aren't they. I get all gitty and the other day I stood there in shock. I didn't know how to react to the 240's. Keep it up.

To all of those that I missed, I am sorry. Everyone here is doing great!!!! I really do want to see everyone make goal. That would be awesome!!!

So joined the gym yesterday. Want to go run today, who knows how I will feel what the heck. Maybe.....

DH comes home today. Haven't seen him since Thursday. Just in time to watch the BEARS game!!! DA BEars!!! Sorry girls, I do love my football. Always wanted to be a football cheerleader for a major sports team. Maybe next year for Halloween I will just ebay a uniform to wear!!!???

Took newly single BFF out for sweetest day last night. had fun went to the casino. She is a size 1. ugh. but I worked my smaller figure and felt great. My once to tight jeans were way to big by the end of the night and felt like they were always falling down. YIPEE!!! Had a little wine, a beer and some popcorn. Even splurged and had 5 raviolis for onlye (25 carbs). So I thought scale would punish me today. Nope down another pound 246!!!!I will make my 239 goal. I know I can, I know I can!!!

I told BFF last night, I couldn't have made it this far without you girls. I wasn't lyin.

LOts of love to the peeps today and everyday!!!!

Sandye - Ok that ebay guy is a loser. Hope your basement is almost done, that's super exciting, what could you possibly have left after that? Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.

GiveTLC - That's fantastic! It appears you are melting a bit, but a lot of hard work and determination and wonderful things happen!

Kim - You can have that snow for now, lol, I like my snow after halloween I hadn't even put the garden hose away yet so I'm glad to have a few days to catch up. Take care of that cold, my goodness we're all catching a little something these days. That movie sounds like me in high school too, I bet there's a lot of us here that can relate to that for sure.

HeyHeyGabby - For me SW has always been the heaviest we've been and representative of how far we've come not when we started on the site. I think you should take full credit for every pound you've lost! And yes, there sure is a lot of afterchatter, lol.

Takarixvx - Never to late!! We're a very chatty bunch, except on weekends, lol, then it's just a few of us but it's endlessly motivating to check in regularly and cheer each other on, or pick each other up too. I look forward to getting to know you better so post often!

MsP- So how's the food feeling today, any better? I know I'd be climbing walls if I couldn't run so my heart goes out to you I'm wiggling around with 0.2 as well, ugh, frustration, frustration. OMG you're almost there! Healthy BMI, it's like the holy grail, all search for it but most never get there. Let me know how things look from there. I'll meet you there is approximately 4.8lbs.

Mystical - Glad to hear you're making the most of the gym, and how about that eating, lol, make sure you take good care of yourself and we'll see you soon.

FitGirlyGirl - I'm on the wrong computer for the podcast right now but it's from itunes and I just searched half marathon training and picked one. If that doesn't work I should have the other tower with my itunes back up tomorrow. I think that is incredible awesomeness, I started with the 30 sec run, I'm going die problem too and I think that was only 4 months ago now, improvement happens very fast when you stick with it and I know you will too.

Jessicado - Congrats on teh whoosh, you definitely seem to be one of those gals that holds it then lets it go all at once, lol, great job though, however you lose it, 12 lbs doesn't happen by accident! Enjoy your visit, and your big night out and I hope you got a good night's sleep.

Jellofer - Oh the lawn, yes those are brutal, my 1.25 acres with hills and ruts and a push mower is gross too but we do get a wicked burn from the exercise! Well if you think that's hot, just wait until my bra isn't shining through my clothes and my forehead isn't all shiny, lol. You're too nice and thanks, it's pretty nice to look at pictures and not be disappointed anymore. That sounds like an awesome night, it's brilliant having friends like you went the times are tough, some of my best gf's have been my saving grace when stuff like that has happened. And I must return the sentiment, it's being able to follow all you ladies that helps me do this everyday, ppl in the rest of my life don't know what it's like to stare down 83lbs and try to lose that.

A delightful day off sunday is upon us. My dh brought home a stray cat from a call he took last night so we have to figure out what to do with it. I'm the opposite of a cat person, lol.

Have a great day ladies, be back later!

Hey everyone!

I know it's been a while, but me and the internet are not meeting as often as we used to. It's just nuts! I hope everyone is doing well and adjusting to the end of the short Fall and onto winter!

I ran my 5k today!!! I can't believe I crossed the finish line, and under my goal (which was 60 min, I am SLOW) but I did, and it was great!

And it doesn't stop here; I am training for a 10K in december!

tummy- Yes my weekend was pretty eventful. We went rockclimbing. Boy is that a totally different workout than I am used to getting. My arms are all kinds of sore.

givetlc- Congrats on your loss this week and the 26lbs lost overall. Glad that WW is working for ya.

kim- Lifetime movings can suck me in too. I remember one really twisted one I saw like a month ago. I can't even believe they came up with a story line like that...

Sorry, thats all the personals I have time for right now, gotta run again. Hope everyone is having a fab weekend.
