Broke down and bought a new digital scale... Right now it's about 6 lbs off from what my old scale has been telling me... EKKK!! But I'm gonna check it out it the morning for the real weight... Lol. Might have to adjust my goals alittle. Ohhh how I dislike you analog scales... I have 3 pretty old ones, and they all told me different weights... Like a 10 pound difference between the 3. And each one gave you a different number depending on where you stand on it... So the new digital one it is. I will live with the number, so long as it's accurate!

Ran 3.41 miles tonight.

Congrats on all the loses!

Quick hello. Back from our trip and had a great time. Ate too much, but got my exercise in. Same old story. Now, no more trips until Thanksgiving which should REALLY help me stay on track with my routine and food and all. I can do fine eating out here, but the trips kill me! Anyway, saw all the awesome losses. Congrats all those who hit new milestones/decades. I am really looking forward to being able to update better now that..I got my scale back!! Actually they sent me a new one (same model), but I FINALLY have the awesome scale I've come to know and love to use again! Time to get ready for bed. Catch ya'll in the A.M.

Hey Ladies,

Quick update; I'm starting to fall asleep! I've had a very busy weekend, starting on Friday. And next weekend will be too, then I start school. I stayed mostly OP, actually, I'm quite proud of myself. I did some major, major cleaning Friday and running around everywhere Saturday and today, so I will see if I have any fluctuations in my weight tomorrow. I also start cooking my freezer meals tomorrow since my mother will be at work and I have nothing else to do.

<3

Goodnight Ladies.

Good Morning Ladies

Joci, thanks for the well wishes.

Well I just finished up another exciting session with Maya. Love that ST, I really do have this sense of empowerment while doing it. Anywho, this is merely another drive by posting. Need to get my boys up for school and out the door. I do hope you gals have a groovy day.

Happy Monday everyone I'm heading for the scale and don't know what I going to see. I'm actually thing of going to a once a month or twice a month weigh in.
I have to change the time of day for my exercise & walking program this week. In the summer I walk first thing in the morning.
It is now a little too dark in the early morning to go walking. We have bears on my farm and I like to see what's around me when I go out. It's going to be a challenge to find a different time of day.

WOW, everyones reports of losses are soooo inspiring! You ladies are really making it happen! Will talk later, hope everyone has a stellar day!

dcapulet-You are a runner...someone who runs! Now you know you can, so enjoy! Just from personal experience, don't do too much too fast or you could risk injury. Take it easy at first and once you're body is used to it...you'll be all set to go!

susie-I hear ya on needing to change schedules. I cannot rise my bike in the dark and I don't really care to run in the dark, so I have to get more creative sometimes with either my workout times or the workout itself. I've done both, and I think it's working well so far. I'm just concerned more about what I'm going to do once winter hits. I have no treadmill, and I live in N.Wisconsin so the temps can get pretty low esp. in the early morn. Oh well, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, I guess.

LE-Great job on a POP weekend!! It's SO much easier for me when I am home.

I went off the wagon, so to speak, this weekend away. Not only did I not get enough water, but ate semi-poorly on the trip down and back. As fate would have it, it corresponded to me pre-TOM major cravings and I did not hold strong. I'm on track today, though, and ready for an excellent week. No excuses!

Good morning ladies!!! I have loads to catch up on I see...better get right on it huh?

MsP~ Congrats again on the 50 lbs gone forever!! Glad to hear your weekend was fun! And on the panties!!! You got your scale back! Sorry to hear that PMS cravings got the best of you--stupid TOM!!! Grrrrr!

Jessica~ Congrats on making your first Sept Goal!! I'm still blown away by all that you've managed to accomplish with all that you're going through! Your progress pics, one word: WOW!!! What a difference!!! You have changed soooo much!! You look wonderful darlin'! I can't wait to see the next set of pics!! Glad to hear your Jeep is up and running again! My hubby is a former mechanic so I know all about the benefits of free car repair (well, the labor part anyway!) Wasn't on last night, but I sure hope you got that workout in!!!

SG~ Woo hoo on the loss hun! I'm glad to hear the scale is moving in the right direction again! However, next time you lose a pound, try not to fling it may way huh? I was crackin' up reading about running in the fog--I would have been the same exact way! I'm all nervous in the dark, add fog to the mix...*shiver*

Mystical~ ah, the wonderful juggling of the routine--isn't the new school year fun? Mmmm, Mexican food is one of my major weaknesses! If I start, I can't stop! A gym membership? Woo hoo! That sounds awesome!!! And even better that everyone is excited to join!! Congrats on the loss! I KNOW you can make that 10 pound goal--you're back on track and more determined than ever!! WTG!! Here's the link to the lasagna recipe: http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/re...age_id=1545957 the marinara sauce recipe is highlighted there as well, just click on the link and you'll find the recipe. Hope you like it!

Ruth~ I'll bust that scale up for ya! Stupid thing! Try not to sweat it hun, just keep on drinking that water, eating OP and exercising--it'll move!

Shasha~ oh you're a stronger woman than I! I hated spinning! And if I had to do hill after hill, I don't think my cussing would have stayed in my head! How are you liking your new trainer?

Mom~ Hey you! Like I told you yesterday--you bring WATP and I'll do it!!! Hope the scale was kind to you today! I'm working on the pic as I type this--so if I don't post it at the end, it's coming!

Tummy~ congrats on the bands--did you get the medium, heavy & extra heavy? I opted for the light, medium & heavy, I should be getting them soon. Now the P90X...who knows when I'll get it?! Oh yes, peeing alone is also one of the luxuries that I took for granted pre-kids! A new decade for you!! That's awesome! And Welcome to Mediumville!!! Now hurry up and post your pics!! I can't wait to see 'em!!! So, how'd you like the lasagna?

NSM~ Hi hun!!! We've missed you! Glad to hear that all is going well, busy, but well! WTG keeping track of what you're eating! Once you get the move over with and things settle down I'm sure you'll be able to get back into the swing of things in Oct! Take care and don't work too hard!

April~ can't wait for it to get colder here so I can start making split pea soup!!! Mmmmm yummy!! Hope the new scale isn't really as off as it seems!!

Nello~ Once again, on the panties girlie!!! Welcome to Onederland!!!

dcapulet~ glad to hear you're feeling better! Is your leg all healed up too? I hope so! Now, let's pick up where you left off and make the rest of this month count!! Just read about your 3 10 min runs!!! That's what I'm talkin' about!!! WTG! I'd say you're definitely a Runner hun!!

Bootsie~ Awww, your avatar--are those little chicks? Perfect!! Hope your visit with your brother was fun! Congrats on the loss dear!!! 3 lbs is an awesome loss!!!

ITM~ Oooh you're so close to your goal already!! That's awesome! Keep up the great work!!

Jacque~ hey girl!!! Nice to see you! Hope all is going well!

Bigmid~ WTG girlie!!! 4 lbs!!! That's awesome!!! Keep up the great work hun!!

Jasonslea~ aw hun, I'm sorry they denied your claim! I've never understood how all that works, I see people trying to get a job every day be denied and then there's someone who sits on their butt all day doing nothing just collecting unemployment checks...I dunno. I hope everything works out for you hun!

Nella~ oh those relaxing days are killers aren't they? It can be so hard to get motivated to exercise! Hope you did end up getting that workout in--it's so worth it when you do!!

Delphi~ Hey hun, you sound like everything is a bit overwhelming at the moment--understandably so! Do try to take it easy and give yourself plenty of mental breathing room. This kind of stress can make you crazy! I'm glad to hear you're not dropping out of this challenge--I might have to hunt to down and drag you back if you ever did that! 172?!?! Holy cow! I'd have taken that for sure! I understand what you mean about it being freeing not to weigh everyday...I wish I was ready to ignore the scale...but alas, I'm not. Take care hun, and more coming your way!

julia~ congrats on the loss!!! Keep on doing what you're doing--you still have lots of time to make that 5 lb goal!!!

Molly~ sounds like you had a busy weekend! Congrats for being so productive!! Have fun making your freezer meals! I'm starting to look into that too--just need to find out what kind of containers will work best. I haven't been able to find 9X12 plastic freezer containers (probably because they don't make them) and I really don't want to go with foil ones because I be they aren't as airtight...anyway, have fun!!

Susie~ Hey you!!! Hope the scale is nice today!!! BEARS?! Yeah, I'm with ya, I wouldn't want to be walking in the dark with bears lurking! Egad!

Lewis~ WTG on the POP weekend hun! That's awesome!!! Keep up the great work!!!

Holy cow! I did it! Now I'm posting this super fast so I don't do something stupid like delete it all!

Okay, now that that's done I can breathe a little easier!

So, it was a busy weekend (hence my lack of catch up posts) and now we're back to the daily grind.

The scale is still holding a grudge--which is no surprise. Remember the Post Birthday Binge holdout? Ahhh, why oh why did I eat that cheesecake?

Oh well, I still think it was worth it Thank you all for all of the sweet Anniversary wishes and words! It really was wonderful to get out on a date with my hubby!

Went to the apple orchard yesterday and stayed POP--well, sort of. I didn't eat off plan or anything, but I didn't get in all my snacks and ended the day below my calorie goal. I just didn't feel like eating yesterday...hmm...wonder why?

Okay, and because my Mom wants to see it (and because I know Tummy would chew me out if she knew I had the pic and didn't post it ) here's a pic of me after our Anniversary dinner--sorry it's so big, I don't know how to make the cute little pics you click on and stuff...

Okay, and with that, I'm outta here! I need to shower, clean the kitchen, go to the grocery store...ya know, just stuff. Hope everyone has a great day and don't forget to...

Drink Your Water!!!

And for those of you who are Vitamin Challenged, don't forget to...
Take Your Vitamin!!!

Morning Ladies -

Inthemidst - we're just about halfway and you're more than halfway so I'd say you're right. At least celebrate a little bit, you deserve a lot of credit for doing it. We'll just save thebig party for later

Mystical - Extra workouts?!? Who is this crazy lady? Good for you! And the more you workout the less you're gonna want eat nasty stuff too, it's like a big happy circle eat better-feel better-workout more and on and on. That's what I like to hear, hardwork paying off! I don't know how it is for the rest of the ladies but for me weight loss is 80% what I eat and 20% how much I exercise. Glad you're in the groove, so much easier here

Jessicado - We're the life of the party round here with all our happening schedules, lol. But oh well it's easier to stick to routine anyway, that's how I make myself feel better Anywho the lasagna was great, I pimped it out a little bit with more veggies and took out 2 of the 3 cheese varieties and added whole wheat, high fiber noodles to suit my dietary preferences but dh had it the way of the recipe and both of us loved it. It was really different but great. And even as the recipe goes it's under 300 cals a serving, it's a steal! Glad your jeep is back up and running, nothing frustrates me like that either. Hope your day goes well with moving your things and that dd enjoys some good daddy time.

Delphi - I do and I did! Find you that is Well you will be missed over there, who will I have to aspire to now? Oh well, I'll manage just as long as you stay around here, cuz honestly I'm not above stalking ppl, not at all. It looks like we might be going to Oklahoma to my sil's wedding in May too so I gonna come get ya! That reminds me got get on that passport.

Jacque - Thanks for checking in and hope you're doing great too my dear.

Jasonslea - Well at least you got an answer, I hate it when I go up without TOM around, that's crappy too. It'll be nice to have the big whoosh later too.

Bigmid - Down 4lbs! Big congrats on that and weight loss is work, and we should be paid for it so why not

Aprilcp - Right on for the digital, it is so nice to not have to guess what you're weight is, one time on and you're done! And congrats on that run too.

Juliastl27 - Well congrats on that almost pound and here's hoping for more this week

MsP - Hey, you're back! Wow, two months home, you're gonna blaze a trail to 135 then. a scale, I don't know how you did it but good for you, that must be a wonderful relief, accountibility is a beautiful thing.

MissMallee - You'll have to let us know how those meals go, I'm interested to see how long the prep takes. it's just a great idea, I'm sure life will be so much easier especially with school starting, one less thing to worry about.

DCapulet - Well, oh my goodnees, I'd say you are!! So you decided to run for 10 minutes for the first time ever and then do it again 2 more times, that's incredible (insert Rocky dance here ) I hope you feel like a million bucks!

Susie - So nice to see you back to say hello, where there's a will there's a way for sure but I know what you mean, wildlife around here can make things challenging as well.

LE - way to show that weekend who's boss! it is pretty remarkable, I was just thinking the same thing about this marvelous group of uber determined ladies, just inspiring!

Bootsie - on the big 3 hard earned pounds!

Sandye - I got medium, heavy and extra heavy, lol, however did you know? I used the heavy on Friday for Legs and Back and it was perfect, my old one was proabably a light and I really wasn't getting close to feeling it like I did on Friday so I'm super pleased with that. The lasagna was marvelous! Dh thanks you (although he said it could have used some ground beef, lol) I took out all the cheese from mine except the ricotta and went super wheaty on the noodles so I had to boil them and added extra veggies. Dh's was according to recipe along with the wheaty noodles and he was inpressed. It sure seemed meater than it sould have been, more substantial anyway, kwim? I was impressed and tons of leftovers, woohoo!!! You have now entered my recipe box under "S" for Sandye's Lasagna. Pictures and measurements tonight, promise!! And you're right, totally chewed out you would have been! OMG you're teeny! I mean if I saw you walking down the street I would think wow that's one thin lady! I could grate cheese on those collar bones too. I am in awe, nuff said

Shasha
- Oh zumba, I've heard delightful things about that, have fun and at least that's something to look forward too after a long Monday at work

LOL great minds Sandye, I was worried about losing mine too so I just had to post it.

Today is end of month 4 and that means I get to do pictures and such, and funny I don't know how to make my pictures big like everyone elses. Anyway had a wonderful weekend with dh off and now back to 7 days of work for him but at least I sleep better when he's working, no reason to stay up late! And b/c I'm me I decided to start a new running program to increase me speed and pace and such. I don't like doing the same things over and over, I've become a huge fan of variety. Today was the beginning, each week I still do three runs, one with aerobic intervals mixed with lighter jogging, then a tempo run and finally a longer "easy" run. Funny podcast who said it was easy! Hopefully that will keep me interested and motivated through some dark and cold times to come. In 10 weeks, supposedly I'll be running two hours but will have also increased my speed a lot so I don't feel like I'm shuffling along anymore. And with that I decided to only do extra cardio three days a week instead of 6 to give my body a chance to adjust to the heavier running schedule. Gosh this is gonna feel like a break for a few weeks, then I'm going be wishing for HIIT sessions again.

Well that's enough blabbering for me, gotta go buy some fruits and veggies and tidy up a weekend worth of mess. Oh and no scale movement today, just sitting pretty at 169.2 but I'm loving it, the second number's a 6 and I can do some pretty amazing things workout wise right now so I'm one happy camper! Have a glorious day ladies and I'll be back later.
