Zenor,
I can't wait till I am not on the obese list. I have a long ways to go.
Have you tried walking in the malls?
here in ohio you can walk the malls before they open. Keeps one out of the heat.
I go to the garage, and walk the treadmill.
Theresa

Tilapia is a white fish. Tuna, other fish, chicken ... they're where it's at Theresa. Lean proteins and things that grow. Simple, clean and soon ... you'll be slender!

Susan,
never heard of the fish Tilapia. Maybe its something hard to find in my area. (very small town)
I like fish, and will continue to eat often.
I tried catfish last night. Yuk! my dog liked it.

Fish is about like flowers ... everybody calls it something different. I think mine is Highliner ... four fillets to a sleeve. Ask for it. That's the only way we got soy products in our small town grocer.

Tilapia is fish. White fish. You can eat most fish but swordfish or other large fish should be limited to once or twice a month.

Mamabanana,
I'm confused. You'd gain weight running? Or eating less calories? My ticker is accurate. I know because the weight has stuck at that number three consecutive days at different times throughout the day.
I had my bodyfat test as well and it seems I've gained close to six pounds of muscle in 2.5 months. So in terms of "weight", had I not been working out, I'd be at about 129 right now.
I don't know what my ultimate weight will be because I don't want to stop lifting, but when the Size 4 jeans are loose at the waist, I'm good to go!

Susan--You gave me the biggest laugh of the day! Virgin pounds!
Theresa--Unfortunately I don't think our mall here opens early for walkers, but I may check into it. I also agree with everyone else, Fish is wonderful! I eat it as much as possible. Tilapia is great too because it hasn't been over fished and is still plentiful. Sorry, there was my little eco-plug for the day.
Allison--Have you ever seen Sideways? That's the area I live in. We must be somewhat close if it was that hot where you are too. It was just awful! I'm wimpy when it comes to the heat.
Diva--Size 4 jeans? Wow! That is awesome! Great job on all the muscle you've gained too!

I know, it IS strange, but for me, the less I eat AND when I run, I gain...truly. I know it changes my shape and obviously, SO much better than NOT exercising, but when I eat too little, I fear the dreaded starvation mode, my body clings on for dear life...I blame it on my Irish heritage and the whole potato famine issue, ruining metabolisms of Irish people everywhere, LOL!!! Anyway, Im glad it works for you, youre rocking! Have you been losing steadily this way? I hear you about the 4's. Im waiting for mine to be loose too, LOL. This time last year, I had very tight 2's, but no more. It seems the smaller you get, the more like 3-4 pounds can practically squeeze you out of the 4's- at least thats my experience.

Hi,
everyone keeps talking about this fish I don't know. "Tilapia"
Whats YOUR favorite way to cook Tilapia?
OH!!! I was just looking in the weekly ad for my grocery store, they are selling Tilapia. on sale for $6.00. Guess I just never noticed this kind.

I don't get the virgin pounds. Is it when you are only 6 pounds away? (I know I am slow).
stats for yesterday:
Total cal: 1693
Fat: 40g (22%)
Carbs: 252g (51%)
Fiber: 46g (YEAH!!)
Protein: 107g (27%)
Stats for today:
Total calories: 1469
Fat: 35g (23%)
Carbs: 205g (48%)
Fiber: 45g (YEAH!!)
Protein: 97g (29%)
Did upper body today and the elliptical for 45 minutes.
Diva, you said that if you didn't strength train that you would be at 129 pounds. Have you found that even though you weigh more, you fit into smaller sizes?

Keeping the calories at 1150 to 1280. Finally see some progress on the scale.
Congratulations to all of you on your continued success. I am definitely going to get some more fiber into my diet.

Virgin pounds are pounds you've never lost before. For instance ... if Woodlily has been between 150 and 160 lbs all her adult life ... the moment she starts down into the 140's, she's into virgin pounds.
