Rockin' Robin,
Have you had cholesterol levels checked or blood pressure or anything like that since you started losing weight? I'm curious if you see huge differences in the physiological data.
I get all excited about two stupid pounds and I see what you've done (and lots of other women here) and I am amazed! Simply amazed!
Let me know what your doctor has seen through his testing. Your state of health must have improved DRAMATICALLY with all these changes you've made!
Keep Rockin' girl...

Mary.
I have been adding fiber to my diet this week and last. I started eating FIBER ONE CEREAL (13GR) good for snacks too.
FIBER ONE BARS ( 9 GR) YUMMY
FIBER SURE 1Tsp.(5 GR)
And fruits and veggies
yesterday I had 48 grams.
Fiber sure has no taste or texture.
Diva
Wow! size 4!? I don't think my bones are size 4!
I think the smallest I have been was a 7, in Junior high. After that, the Irish in me kicked in. and I got too much up top! YES! I hated it.
I have not weighed that little since I got married in "78".
But as DD says...
I am going to be my husband's TROPHY WIFE next year.

You're right, Susan. My mom was a perfect 9 and she was very svelte.

I'm going to the cheesecake factory tonight to celebrate winning the championship game. I already picked out what I will eat. I'm going to share their fresh spring rolls with my husband and have the lettuce wraps as my entree. That should be relatively healthy and low-cal, right?

I just looked up Fiber One on general mills. It doesn't look like it tastes very good. Has onyone tried the Fiber One Healthy Heart Blend or the Honey Clusters? I eat Basic 4 Cereal (also made by General Mills) and I think the Fiber One Healthy Heart Blend might be a good substitute for it. It is definetly has less calories per serving. I'm leaning towards the Healthy Heart because I tend not to like bananas in my cereal.

Rai,
the fiber one Honey Clusters is what I just started eating. I eat my cereal dry. (hate milk!) yuk. If you can eat it dry it must be OK
I love Basic 4 Cereal .
Susan and Diva,
Thanks! I was Curvaceous. I was told I was rolly polly, (chesty is what it was, but at 5 ft. it looks that way to some.)
feeling strong today. did Curves.
and 25 on the tread mill, I am going to go back out on it now.
see ya

Theresa, do they but banana's in the honey clusters. How does Honey Clusters compare with Basic 4 in terms of taste? The Healthy Heart one looks similar to Basic 4 to me. Oh yeah, I like to eat my cereal with milk.

Rai,
no bananas
taste, hands down...Basic 4!
I have been eating that one for a while.
post has some others that are real good if you like dryed fruit and nuts in you cereal.
But none of them compare to the fiber form Fiber one. 13% versus 4%
I am going to start eating this for my snacks if I am low on fiber.

FIBER ONE IS DELICIOUS!!!!
In my opinion of course. It scared me when I first saw it. I figured it tasted like twigs, since that's what it looks like. But it doesn't. It's slightly sweet and crunchy. I like it A LOT.

Yesterday's calories were 699 with 25% coming from fat. They had NO CHEESECAKE! What is up with that???
Went to the gym yesterday and did my legs first. Got on the treadmill and I was garbage. My quads were burning up. Burned a mere 200 calories, as opposed to my usual 700+, but today is a new day and I am NOT going to beat myself up over this.
Mamabanana, the Spanish had no famine. We've got thighs to prove it. I bet the "gain" you're seeing are merely muscles packed full of water and lactic acid. You never weigh yourself after a hard workout.
Jumped on the scale this morning and clocked in at 133.6. Didn't believe it, of course, so jumped on two hours later. 133.6! If I can get that number to hold for the next two days, then I'll know it's my true weight.
Yesterday, while showering for this hot date I had, I noticed my abs POPPING while in the shower! My goodness, what abs can do to one's state of mind! I was tickled pink. So anyway, I bought three pairs of Body by Victoria slacks TWO YEARS AGO in a Size 4 and they didn't fit. I didn't return them for a bigger size because that's the same as the fat saying "I'm here to stay". After my shower, and with my newfound confidence, I slipped into a pair thinking I'd have to be poured into them. AND THEY FIT! Beautifully, I might add. VS clothes are so curve-hugging, so I stood in front of the mirror and turned every angle I could to see if anything was bulging out. Tiny daughter (Size 2) comes up the stairs and says... Dang, Mom! You HAVE lost weight! Wowee for me, I thought! So she says, mom... you get wear that with something really sexy! *gulp* The pants are crimson red and she found a white, off-the-shoulder-very-sexy-made-for-me blouse and she tousled my hair just so. Strappy little sandals with my red toenails peeking out and my gold hoop earrings, red lipstick, and Latina was screaming out of every pore. But not tacky-from-the-Bronx Latina. We're talking Motherland Latina.
Ladies, this has been amazingly fun and wonderful and gratifying. And when life has been at its worst and lowest between freezing temperatures, hectic work schedules, crappy ex-boyfriends, and fighting nicotine addiction, it feels so DANG GOOD to know that I've stuck something through ALL OF IT and that I did for ME and ONLY ME... not for my parents, my children, my government, my man. Only me!
I have earned my self-esteem back and as a result, no one will ever be able to take it from me.
Rock on, ladies! This girl is heading out to the track!!!
;-)
