On another note!

Does anyone know if Julie (your fearless leader) is back in town yet? I need to talk to her ASAP.

Default Back in action.

Morning teamies!

Finally got back to the thread after site meltdown. Happy to report I just finished 45 minutes of true exercise! Haven't done that in about 6 weeks. Life has been full of trips, children and work. Got my time in this morning and am back with vengence!

BetteK - where ever you are, I didn't forget about our pact. I will walk my mile tonight.

Everyone else, I hope all is well and look forward to a loss this week! Will check back when I have more time to get some personals in!

GO BLACK TEAM!

Happy Birthday Sally!!! If he doesn't want kids and you do, you did the right thing. Trust me . . . you do not want to have kids with a guy that isn't really into it. Awesome job on the size 10's. You look AWESOME!

Tara - Great job on your "last chance" workout and the resulting loss.

I have a busy day. This is the first day the kids will be home for summer. I wish it would stop raining!!

blueyeddlvrgirl: Wow, your boyfriend's mother is something else. I agree with the others, your boyfriend should take a stand for you against her. What would happen if you called her? I like the idea of talking to your boyfriend's sister-in-law and seeing how she handled/handles it. You could learn from her successes and/or mistakes. Congrats on your loss, a small loss is still a loss!

Terri: Those are some serious NSVs! And I'm impressed that you can remember them all. Do you write them down as you achieve them? Thanks for your support. I am actually surprised that I didn't bawl or get angry at anyone. I was slightly angry at my table getting scratched up, but since there was a pretty easy solution (it's got clear varnish on it), I am no longer mad. And it was nobody's fault: the condo we moved from was horrible getting out of, small doors, twists and turns...then our new apartment had a narrow staircase leading up to it. It's no wonder it got scratched.

Barb: that sounds interesting. Maybe I will check out that book.

ceegee: thanks for your support! It would be nice to win, but I guess you are right, it is about support and I truly need it...especially now. Congrats on the scale moving down.

Manick: you are exercising like a mad woman, I am sure next week you will post a loss. I know what you mean about the alcohol. I drink too. I don't mind drinking if it fits into my calories for the day. Some days, though, I go over by a drink or two. I am also going to cut down to Friday and Saturdays and drink less when I do. Not that I am a total lush, but I love my wine. Wow, that's a lot of fiber! That's great...I try to get atleast 25g of fiber in, and usually I do it thanks to the help of high fiber cereal (by the way, Fiber One's caramel delight cereal is deeeelicious! I get mine at Target for about $1 cheaper than the grocery stores). Keeps me fuller and "regular" haha.

chiquita: you have a great attitude!

bethbeth: good luck with your move. I know it's tough!

Tara and Ann: congrats on the loss!

sxulcmnky: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Cute pic, you look so cool in your glasses.

To everyone else: Hi, good morning!!! I had a great day yesterday...finally an OP day. I did what I said I would do: I ate my high fiber cereal (no fruit, though) and went for a 30 min walk. My knee started hurting and almost giving out, though. I don't think I told you that when I was packing to move, my dog tripped me and I fell hard on my knee. I went to the docs and was told I have fluid buildup on my kneecap thanks to the fall + overuse (going up and down stairs). I am on Naproxen for it. I am supposed to be resting it. I am going to tell you what I ate yesterday, and believe it or not, it all added up to 1638 cals:

Breakfast:
Fiber One Caramel Delight Cereal (1 cup) with .75 c 1% milk: 257 cals

Lunch:
homemade Mexican Pizza (1 serving): 506 cals

Afternoon snack:
Sargento Chipotle Cheddar cheese (1 slice): 80 cals
Honey Roasted Turkey deli meat (2 slices): 50 cals

Dinner:
2 chili dogs (Hebrew National 97% FF beef, Hormel Turkey Chili no beans, potato hot dog buns): 418 cals

2 Heinekens: 295 cals

It was a delicious day and I didn't feel deprived at all. Today will be a good day as well. I had a NSV yesterday, too: when I was at the store getting the dogs, I wanted some chips badly but I didn't get them.

Have a great day, everyone!

I am starting to get a little worried about my weigh-in this week. It may be my first time to post a gain in this challenge. Right now I am +2 pounds, and I only have 3 days to turn it around. I need to post my weight on Friday since we're moving Saturday and I don't know if we will have internet up and running by Monday or not.
This week is just so tough. We're so busy, we have random food left in the house to eat, and the weather is terrible to get outside for walks/runs. I'm trying to not be too worried about what happens with food/exercise this week, but I still don't want to have to post a gain. Next week I will get lots of healthy food stocked in the new place, and will have lots of time to get working out.
I guess my goal is to get those 2 pounds off in the next 3 days, so I can post a break-even weight (no loss/no gain). Then after the move I will be set for losing more!

Hi team

Happy Birthday, Sally! Looks like you've got the best birthday present of all - no more Ex!

Last night was fitness center night. Only one more week left of the fitness center Biggest Loser challenge. I'm kinda disappointed how that played out. We had teams but there was no team competitive thing going on to spark motivation. Just go in and weigh on Monday nights but never know who was on your team. It lacked inspiration. I've got one week left to hit the 15 pound loss for that challenge. I'm really glad that I participated though and it encouraged me to sign up for this challenge as well. I need that spark of competitiveness for the drive.

I did the Sprint 8 (its on Vision Fitness machines) workout on the elliptical, after 30 minutes on the treadmill, and thought perhaps I might die at the end of it. However, it was a great interval workout for 20 minutes. I am going to check out the other Sprint 8 workouts on the treadmill and stationary bike the next time. If I can do all three machines in a workout session, that ought to blast off some fat.

to all!
