GG has inspired me...my personal goal is to post here every single day again. I was in the habit of coming every morning first thing, but now that kids are off school there is no clear cut wake up time and they are wanting breakfast soon as my feet hit the floor so that habit has slipped. I'm feeling lost without a schedule just like JuliaHood I need to write one out and get on a new summer schedule...though in just over a month it'll be back to school schedule.

Is anyone else spending more time at home this summer since gas is so high? I refuse to pay for it...REFUSE...so I've been paying my $15 a week for a quarter tank and sticking around our small town. I took advantage of some free shipping deals to get the kids school clothes instead of driving to the malls, and my daughter loved looking through all the stores on the computer to pick out her stuff. I think I'm about additcted Ebay though need to cut that out soon or we'll be broke.

Okay, I'll be here every single mornign starting tomorrow...hold me accountable gals

I'm going to follow along with GG and Purplefirefly. I have to admit that this challenge has gotten lost in the shuffle of my life lately. I hate when that happens! But, this challenge is what keeps me SO motivated. All of you ladies keep me motivated. There are days that I want to just take a LONG break from eating healthy and exercising and then I think about you all on here... and I know that we are ALL in this boat together. That helps me so much to know that you are all on this same journey with me. Though some of us are taking different paths (a la weight watchers, low carb, no carb, low fat, no fat, etc) we are still going towards the common goal of healthier lives! So, I'm going to make it my goal to post here once a day. In fact, starting tomorrow morning, I'll make a new thread for us (I see we're nearing the 500 mark). That'll be a great time to start with posting daily.

I'm so excited about the Black Team and all that we've been doing!!! You ladies are ALL inspiring to me!!!

Hey black team! Congrats on the win last week. I'm plugging along myself (continuing downwards). I'm sorry I had to bow out but I realised that the concept of mentally comparing my losses to other people was not putting me in a good mental space. I am truly happy with the way my weight loss is progressing, however, I would see other people losing faster and consider changing what I was doing. I know from past experience that this is bad for me (really bad). So for my own sanity I had to step away from it all.

I'm glad to see that you're doing well as a team and I do hope that individually you're all in a good weight loss mode. For the Americans here - hope you have a good 'on plan' Fourth of July weekend!

Take care all,

Anne

Oops - forgot - for the Canadians here, Slice TV is starting to run the first season of the Biggest Loser starting tonight. I added information into another post about it, as well as casting calls for X-Weighted (a western Canada based weight loss show) and Last 10 pounds Bootcamp (Vancouver based show).

Hey Team! Had a moment to pop in while on vacation and caught up the last 3 pages (only!) I'll try to stay up with the new thread Julz starts! Vacation is SO nice....I guess I have to have the "other" (ie work) to have the contrast so I can appreciate how great vacation is. We've been in LA and San Diego, and the weather has been GORGEOUS!

We've done LOTS of walking I am hoping to maintain weightwise, just where I am, I'll have to post a few pics. The goal dress I set for myself back in April ended up being too BIG to wear to the wedding this past Sunday night so I just wore a black cocktail dress. Kind of a cool story, the bride (my friend) is 44 and found the love of her life, and it turned out to be someone she knew from high school. He was on the committee to find lost persons for their 25th reunion and they connected again. Their first "date" was our wedding, Dec 31, 2006!

Excellent job on the week 9 Teamies! Good work!!

Hey Black team, I'm really proud of you guys!

As you know, I moved 3 weeks ago, and haven't really been on plan since then. I'm up about 3 pound, which I guess isn't too bad. Today I've been doing great, and am determined to get back on track. Unfortunately tomorrow is a big family reunion (aka lots of food) and Monday is my first wedding anniversary (aka go out to a big dinner).

But, I gotta keep doing this. I hope you guys keep it up with me.

Thanks,
