Hi All, as you saw I took a freebie this time, I am dying here trying to study my brains out. I have no idea how many pages of this thread I missed.
What on the weekends I am all alone here @ 3fc and during the week everyone comes back? Not fair, lol! Good Luck everyone!

Hey everyone. I have so much to say after reading through all the posts, wow lot's of action going on. I got my Dark Lover book from Chellez and I started reading it last night. Don't post any spoilers please, please, please. I want to savor all the juiciness for myself!

First off....Rhonda: You go with your bad self girl!!! You are unstoppable now, I feel it...you are giving out a great vibe and you are so motivating. I'm so proud of you and the commitment you've made. You are going to kill it in the next challenge!

vixjean: I had to take a freebie this week too. It killed me because the next day the scale said I lost a pound! grr. Good luck with the studying.

krjpy: mmm....turkey tacos....you're making me hungry.

kgood: Good for you giving up caffeine. I'm almost there, but I still have my one cup of coffee in the morning. I'm thinking of replacing it with roasted dandelion root, but I'm not there yet. Let me know how you do. I'm sorry your PMS is so bad, have you talked to your ob/gyn about it? Maybe there is something you could take to keep your moods more even?

Nori: It could be worse, my husband watches the history channel 24/7 and then quizzes me constantly with history questions.

Onthetee: I ordered the book you suggested and I plan to become the most succulentest wildest women ever!

Tina: I'll let you know about the book when I finish and become one of the craven vixens!

Dixie: Is your husband in the service?

Everyone that I missed: Keep up the good work, we are gonna win this week!! I know it.

Take care ladies....I think this challenge was just the warm up and now everyone is ready to kick *** in the next one. Bring it on.

You might want to get a neck brace because you will find yourself compulsively nodding agreement.

Rhonda - WOW! That's some serious hiking!

I love turkey tacos too. I had leftover ground turkey and was planning to make a big taco salad (sans chips) for dinner and realized I was out of salsa. I use at least 1/2 cup on salad and I don't like it w/o out it, so had to settle for falafel.

Yeah, summertime is creeping up on us quickly and I'm ready to kick some tail.

I don't want to take meds for it. Caffeine is really the culprit. After I quit for a few months and was way better I stumbled upon an article that said for some people caffeine makes them more depressed during that time. Once in a while I slip but its usually not worth it.

Good morning everyone! I am in a good mood today, even though the scale is not moving this week so far and I have been completely OP I feel good, so that's the good thing. My weather thingy on the computer must be broken because it says our high for today is 52...but it's already 53 right now before the sun is even up

darn, alarm just went off...gotta get the kiddies off and running. Back later, I hope.

You crazy woman! I got to chapter 25 after class last night but it was like 11 and me and Lexi were passed out on the couch. I just couldn't go any further! It's ok though... its overcast and calling for rain today so I'm hoping the phone stays quiet and I can finish the other half.

Tina - You'll have a PM in T minus 5 minutes.

Dee - I got your 2 Tanya Huff books yesterday in the mail. Am I supposed to start with Volume One and go in order? You sent V2 & V3.

Other normal life stuff, really not much going on. Getting the sales tax ready today and reading... thats about it. Daniel made me make brownies last night, so I have a 13 x 9 pan of them in my kitchen screaming for me to eat them all.

The idea that falafel is somehow 'settling' just makes me sad.

It is clean the house, get my butt on the treadmill, tie Will to his chair to do math day. First, I am going to have my coffee and read the comics. Woe to the child that should dare interfere.

i did not weigh in this morning. When I woke up, I was water-logged from dinner last night. I knew the number would suck, so why beat myself up about it when I will have a better day today without the guilt?
EDIT: I couldn't hold out. Weighed in, and it was not the disaster that I anticipated. Nothing a trip on the treadmill and lots of water won't cure!

I posted this in the mini goals section, but I wanted to post it here too:

Today I hit a milestone....40lbs. gone! I knew it was coming up, but the reality of it just floored me. As I lose the weight I feel like each day a little piece of my shell is chipped off and someday the last chip will fall and I will stand up and be the person I know I was meant to be. This has been such an emotional journey for me because food was my way of stuffing down my feelings. As I lose the weight, I feel like each emotion never dealt with....every memory surpressed....all those hurts I fixed with food....now have to be dealt with once and for all. It's a scary process, but I really want to move on with my life. I've learned the most amazing thing on 3fc's, and that is that it's safe to open up and let people in. I only learned this after being a total jerk to my BL blue team members, and I only hope that those women know how much they have inspired me to become a better person. I'm not always a good friend or teammate because it's hard for me to not make everything about me. I'm learning to listen more and be supportive instead of selfish. I'm learning that I'm not the only one on here losing weight and if I want support, I have to give it too. I stopped thinking of losing weight as a job, and slowed down and learned to enjoy the process...while getting to know everyone. I'm still learning....and it is going to take me awhile to remember everything is not about me. But I'm going to get there, I know I will.

Thanks for all the support everyone! We can do this......together.

If you get a chance to get to a store in the next few days, try to lift one of the 40-pounds bags of mulch or water softener salt. That will bring the reality of 40 pounds into complete clarity for you. I am SOOOOO happy for you!

Hi everybody!

I'd say after so many pages just about BOOKS, lol, that we are a bit off topic?? LOL!!!!! Just kidding, glad you all found something you really like to read. I love to read too.

Chelle, before you know it you'll be a major book dealer! LOL. Maybe you should get a piece of the action, tell them you want a percentage! HA!

Hiya to Dixie, Anna, Rhonda, Tina, Soul, Kelly (wtg on the inches!), Vanessa and every other Bluezer who is still with us!!

I hope I get keep my mind in the game this next challenge. I went up and down my stairs 7 times yesterday and am going to try to up that every day til I do it 100 times. LOL. Wish me some good determination!!! I'm also doing C25K. I hear my knees creaking when I'm climbing the stairs but the truth is that on TBL you know they have to have that too, when they start out they are really big people and I think if you put yourself thru enough and keep at it, eventually your knees will thank you!!!

My goal for next challenge is:

More WATER!! I'm drinking more lately bc it's hot here. Humid and yuk. Joy.

Keep myself stocked with fresh fruits and veggies. I could live on those. I just run out alot then eat badly. But if I have them here I'm good!

Track calories each day. I mess up bad when I don't do this.

Stay very active. I'm wearing my pedometer every day now. I hit 12000 steps on Monday! That hasn't happened in months.

No more of "I must eat this exact amount, walk this many steps" etc. I know what to do to lose, I just need to do it. And I'm not going to be so strict on exacts. I know one glass of water a day isn't enough! I know 2000 calories is too much! I know not moving is bad for me! I have done this losing thing since I was 5 years old! LOL. I need to just get back to it now!

I am so glad I can come here to chat while I do it! I feel better after I post each time. So thanks everybody.

Now for the real news:

DH has joined the challenge!!! Yay!!!

He works ALOT so I know he can't exercise but it will get him to thinking more about it all and I'm sure he'll lose because he is at his highest weight, or a little under that. He drinks more water than anyone I know. So that's good.

I'm so proud that he is willing to do this with all us girls. He's a gotta-have-sports kinda guy, coaches our kids so has to run all that for the teams and do the two jobs, likes his meat and potatoes, Copenhagen-dipping, funny as all get out, loyal to his death, and really responsible and smart. If he ever has time to post more than the required amount, I think you all will like him alot.

Ok, gotta run. Today is his birthday, he turns 37! People at his office had no idea he was that old! LOL. They said "And you still act like that?" Ha ha. Because he's silly and fun and all that. Ok, gotta get Mr. Furley and them ready to go. I'm sitting here with pink foam rollers on the top of my head. LOL. Gotta get ready myself too!

Big hugssssssssss, Selina

Good morning, Bluesers. I’ve got a horrible headache this morning and I’ve got tons upon tons of work to get through today and tomorrow. I’m on vacation next week. I slept in and am just now getting started on my day. The coffee is brewing. Hopefully, a cup will clear this fog from my head.

Chellez – Brownies?! Now, why in the world is he making your brownies? Tell him to make you a nice salad instead.
Anna – Get on that treadmill and sweat today!
Lori – I’m glad you decided to stick with your Blue team. You’re an awesome team member!

I’ll be back later to check in with everyone.(not that you all doubted that, huh?) Hope everyone has a great on-plan day.
