Selina---I am sooo bad about water. I got a new water bottle and Brita pitcher, which helped. But I would still rather have my coffee.
Do you have a farmer's market near you? If they were running on the day you don't go to the grocery, you could restock your veggies that way. Kids are a big hit at those things! Mine seem to get lots of freebies.
Selina - It's so good to hear from you! Since your Hubby is joining us, I'll ask my Hubby to join also. But, I must warn everyone....he's a "pride on three" kinda guy.
OMG, No!!! This gal couldn't handle an overly sensitive man. I'd run all over him!
He's very much a team player and doesn't like to hear a bunch of whining....another former football player. If you need a good swift kick in the butt, he'll be happy to give it to you. If you want to be babied and pampered because you're struggling....well, he might just leave that part up to me.(Although, I'm not much for all that myself, either!) I'm not much for too much commiseration. I think the butt kicking works a bit better sometimes.

Your DH sounds awesome though. I like people who don't mess around, who are direct.
As far as TBL is concerned, the guys' crying doesn't bother me so much, anyway. I think expressing oneself is healthy.
I blame Bob. I think he got them connected with their "softer" side, showed them that it was okay to be vulnerable, to cry, and ever since, they can't stop releasing the pent up emotion that's been crammed down for their entire lives.
But, I'm all hippy-dippy like that. And I have my own theories about Dear Bob.
Chellez - Volume 1 will be in the mail today or tomorrow, depending on if I have enough time to run back to the house to look for it at lunch or not. I'd blame it on lack of caffeine, but I didn't start cutting back until this week.
Lisa - DH is in law enforcement. I sometimes wish he was in the military instead, particularlly since I'm currently jealous of my co-worker who is working out on base at their incredible gym. The stress level is probably lower than if he was deployed to Iraq though, so I'll deal with my blah gym.
Grr! I've got to scoot, these people except me to work, just becuase they pay me? Unfair!
I've learned the most amazing thing on 3fc's, and that is that it's safe to open up and let people in. I only learned this after being a total jerk to my BL blue team members, and I only hope that those women know how much they have inspired me to become a better person. I'm not always a good friend or teammate because it's hard for me to not make everything about me.
COOL! OnTheTee is right ... go find something that is 40 lbs and pick it up. My first really big milestone was 53 lbs ... I know that is a strange number, but it was my DS weight ... so when I picked him up, I realized that I was only carrying 53 lbs, not 106 lbs. It was a really cool revilation. I had lost me a DS, only to regain my ability to carry him.
As for being a good friend ... I think you have become one of the best on this site. You are there for us, just as I hope we have been there for you. I was one of the ones who took a bite out of you regarding your attitude, and I have to say that I am so glad that you have stayed with us, and am very proud to be a Blue Team Member with you.
That when TBL is over, he will be on the cover of The Advocate?
I'm so sheltered that I had to google that. Oddly enough, and completely going off on a tangent...my small hometown was once mentioned on the Phil Donahue show as having the largest per captia percentage of GLTB in the US. Gave me a real open mind regarding alternate lifestyles, but led me to assume a guy was, until he said otherwise. Really cut down on the dating pool.
Morning Ladies,
Congrats to those that made their goal weights for the challenge and those that lost tons of inches. As of this morning I am UP 4 pounds since the start.
i have had a revelation. I had my annual pap exam and whatnot yesterday. granted I was having a little white coat syndrome but my blood pressure was 144/82!!! That is not good. Doc wants me on a low sodium <1500 or less diet and a recheck in 3 weeks. I really want to avoid blood pressure meds as I am already taking Metformin, biotin, evening primrose, thyroid and a multivitamin. He is also checking my A1C again to see about taking me off the Met since I have lost 30'ish pounds in the last year.
My goal for the next three weeks is to keep my sodium levels down, calories be damned. Since cutting down the sodium will take out anything processed I think the calories should stay somewhat low all on their own.
I think it was Dixie that said she was getting back to 5 days of exercise a week. I would like to join you on that. 5 days of SOMETHING every week.
Off to the shower and then we are going to replace the shower head assembly in our bathroom today.
Hubby and I have always thought he was Bi. That would mean that there's still hope for you, Chellez! (Oh...wait a minute...what will we do with poor Daniel! )
I wish this stinkin' headache would just go away! It doesn't help that I just burned the last bit of my oatmeal and have nothing else handy for an on-plan breakfast. Oh well, guess I'll heat up an early lunch instead.
My calves are mega tight and achey today. Walking should be fun.

I just got a new purple SIGG aluminum water bottle and it's so pretty that I enjoy my water much more.
Not enough to ax the coffee, but I'm d/c it. To about 3 cups a day.
I broke 250 this morning!!!!!
IMO, I think Bob is metro also.
Zinke - good luck reducing your sodium. It's tough.
Rhonda - hope your HA goes away soon. Everything is hard when you're in pain. Mine is still hanging on a bit in the back of my head. This is day 3 - I think it's allergies. But I have an appt with Josh at 10:30 and will get in a good cardio workout also. I missed yesterday.
Well, I gotta get the girls dressed and get going on our day. Running a little behind here.

Did they do a urinalysis?

Walking WILL be fun, just maybe not comfortable. And I will bet after the first 20 minutes, you will loosen up and be just fine. Hubby can give you a swift kick if you need it.

It is stainless, and i love it. I would rather the kids drink from stainless, but I just know that if I spend $12 on a bottle, they will lose it in. But the leaching thing just skeeves me out. Torn.
Lunch today: 3/4 cup brown rice, 16 medium shrimp, 1/3 c TJ's Masala sauce. Heaven.
