Hi everyone,
Sorry that I haven't been on here so often. I wish I could have participated more often. Finals are coming up, and I've just had the worst sinus infection of my life. I've been sick for two weeks, and my head is pounding like ****. Antibiotics suck lol. I couldn't talk for two days. I will tell you that I've been working out even though I've been feeling a bit sick to try and sweat it out I guess. My body looks tons different even though I seem to weigh the same. It looks a bit more firm, and my jeans are really loose! That's good news.
Finals are coming up in a few weeks for me, I would say that this week and next week are my last days of classes, and I'm excited for them to be over. Then I can stop being so sick and stressed lol.
I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather and staying healthy!
*btw, if you all ever go to jimmy john's, you should try an unwich instead of having the regular bread. It's tasty!*

Heck yeah they do!

I have had a horrible day. I was on my way for an overnight visit with a friend in ILL, and Meara had a seizure about an hour out of Indy. She is good as new. I don't have the time or the strength to go into big details, but I am posting a link to my blog:

Awww Anna, I'm glad she is ok. Sorry y'all had a bad day. Bet you all are worn out.

I did extremely well today for my goals!!! I climbed my stairs here 10 times. I did the 1 and 2 mile WATP dvds Tatiana let me borrow, I drank some water , I stayed in my calorie limits, I stayed pretty optimistic, yay!, and I'm at well over 12,200 steps now! Yay me!!

You all who know me from the last several months know that I never exercise. Well, my plan is to do it as much as possible during this next challenge so I can form the habit again, I did it alot when I lost the bulk of my weight. But with all the babies this year never had energy for it. Well, since my last baby is leaving in a few weeks (well the caseworker believes him to be going to grandma after court end of April), poor little sweetie, I should be able to be more active all summer with my older kids, etc. I reeeeally wanna be in better shape, really looking forward to it now!

Congrats to all of you who lost inches and/or pounds this challenge! I am happy about my two pounds! LOL. Better than none or gaining!

Hugs! Selina

Okay.....so I go to the gym today to do the assignment gave me. I was supposed to use the recumbent bike for 45 minutes with 15 minutes of stretching. Well, seems the elliptical and the recumbent bike aggravate my ankle injury so put me on the treadmill. He comes over with me and sets it on random and I didn't even see what level it was on. So here I am briskly walking along as usual and the next thing I know I'm climbing mount everest! OMG....seriously I thought I would die. told me to push through it like my daughter did in boot camp, so I focused on her and pushed through. I'm not kidding, at one point I felt like the damn thing was vertical! I have NEVER sweat like this at the gym, I swear I looked like I was on the biggest loser on the last chance workout day. Anyway, I did three miles at that pace!!! When I was done cooling down, I went in the bathroom and started crying. (I went in the handicapped stall too! How much therapy do I need? ) I swear, we don't know our own capabilities until someone comes along and shows you what your made of. I NEVER would have pushed myself that hard, because I doubt my own strength. said he's never going to make me do something he knows I can't do, but he's going to make me work. Getting a personal trainer.....best decision ever.

Today I have made the decision to not only push my boundaries in my weight loss and exercise, but to start living more fearlessly. Very exciting.

Holy crap its cold in my office today! Is the ever going to come out again? It seems like its been overcast and rainy here for a week or more.

The results are posted and you can see how we are fairing in the Battle of the Biggest Losers! Thread. I wanted to be silly this morning so I got my little fix in.

Anna - So sorry to hear about your little girl. Hope everything goes ok at the doctors today.

Dee - I feel bad cause I'm not reading your Tanya Huff books yet. It does look like they go in some sort of order. Hopefully V1 gets here soon!

Got some things worked out with the team leaders so I'm going to work on the FAQ.... finally!

Shoot Anna. That's so scary. I hope you get good news at neuro appt today.

Big congrats to our biggest losers! Kelly, Jenn and Lisa!!!!! You guys did so good!

I took my measurements this morning and while I only lost 18.6 pounds, I lost 22 inches!! That was exciting to see!! Measurements and weight usually go pretty hand in hand for me 1 pound = 1 inch...but all the weigh training and core work I'm doing is making the inches move more quickly. I gotta get DH to take my after pic tonight, although I honestly don't think it'll look that different on a pic.

We are off to a play date this morning, so I will not hit the gym until later this afternoon.

I'm excited to see out final competition numbers!
