Uh oh! Someone has a daughter? You wouldn't be throwing out spoilers, would you?
Technically it hasn't happened yet... JR Ward says it doesn't happen until at least Lover Enshrined and maybe after that. You'll find out what we're talking about soon if you're reading 7 chapters per sitting.

OMG THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BOOKS ... it is probably one of my all time favorites (which is saying a lot since I read constantly and have a Degree in English)

If you don't love it ... don't tell me

Its funny you say that cause a lot of people on the brotherhood forums say they cant read Z's book over again because they get so emotionally tied up.

They are also real big into the male / male relationship with V and Butch..

Not so much for me...

I can't remember the last time I found a series that I've enjoyed so much!
Have you read Christine Feehan's books? Her vampire series is awesome, also.

I read all 3 of Christine Feehans series (Dark Series, Drakes, and the Ghostwalkers) - I was just re-reading Dark Synphony (Byron's Story). I don't think she has anything out I haven't read.

Chelle - Yeh, you got me hooked, but I got all 5 books read in 3.5 days ... your still reading

I was in the mood for a Diet Rootbeer yesterday and just drinking half gave me a splitting headache. I always forget that aspartame does this to me...O'well.No soda's for me I guess. As for the Splenda, I've been using it for a good 3 yrs and as far as I know I am not having any issues. Like Rhonda I have 2 tsp's in my 1 cup of java everyday and every now and then I'll sweeten some iced tea with it. I've read where some people have had major issues and they blame Splenda for it. Some have experienced major burns on their neck and other issues and they swear that after giving up the Splenda, all this stopped. I dunno....My face get's really red (not pink) but RED and HOT whenever I workout and it stays this way for a while, and every now and then I'll get what I call Hot face, where I feel flushed and my face is hot and I put a cold rag or anything cold over my face to cool down. I am starting to wonder if it's the Splenda? I'm thinking about just using plain Ole' regular sugar once I am done with this last batch of Splenda. I don't use much to really make a difference. I HAVE to have sweetener in the or the whole experience is just ruined for me. I'm like OnTheTree (who is funny as **** today!), without my coffee in the morning's, I am not human!

It's perfect sitting-outside-and-reading-a-book weather here. Unfortunately I must come back to work. I just had lunch with Z and Bella.

I've decided that I'm going to set some really specific and measurable goals for the next challenge. I supposed I should do this in my nearly abandoned blog, but I want to post it here too.

1. Starting Friday, April 4, 2008 at 5:30 pm (central) I am cutting out Diet Code Red, Diet Mt. Dew, and all other carbonated soda-type beverages. By starting on a Friday evening I might be able to come to work on Monday and not kill my co-workers. With me that's decided on a day-to-day basis, and caffeine withdrawl might just be enough to tip the scales. I will however allow myself to take asprin or excedrin which has caffeine if the headaches get too bad. Or and Ambien, to just sleep thru it.

2. Workout 5 days a week. This last challenge I bombed this part. I got so hung up on my guilt about not doing as much as I know I should, that I didn't do anything. So, any workout I want, for at least 20 minutes, 5 days a week. And no bad self talk.

That's all I'm setting up right now. I always let myself let too hung up on exactly how many calories/carbs/whatever I'm counting and forget to actually listen to my own body, so I'm not setting any specific macronutrient/calorie goals.

I hope you do start blogging again. I promise to add you to my blogroll and read everything you have to say! I've also started really thinking about my goals and what I want to accomplish during the next challenge. I'm really disappointed in my lack of commitment to my weight loss so far this year. Do you realize that we're approximately 1/4 of the way through the year already? I began this challenge at 232.8 pounds. I've only lost 3.6 pounds. This is just not acceptable for me, so I'm buckling down and getting serious about this...and, I'm not waiting until the next challenge to start. I am going to calorie count as it keeps me on track and works well for me. However, I have decided to quit the artificial sweeteners. I think they are hurting me more than they are helping me. This weekend, I'll head over to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's and pick up some agave nectar. I can't use much of it, but I still want a couple of cups of coffee in the morning. I'm also committing to exercising daily. My short term goal is to get to Onederland by my birthday in July. Long term...I'd love to be at goal by the end of the year. Can I lose 80 pounds by December 31st? I don't really know. But, I do know this.....even if I fall short, I'll be making some serious headway and will be much thinner by the New Year.
