Proud to report in that I had a nice 1500 cal day yesterday. Didn't work out bc i was feeling under the weather, but declined dh's invitation to get dinner out, and then declined (or rather, didn't give in) to my kids begging to get ice cream after dinner. Tonite again instead of going out, we ate leftovers. (We did go out for b'fast tho, so I'm not a total ogre to my family). It's hard to deny the kids, but better I teach them now that desert is NOT a part of every meal or dinner every day. They will thank me later.

The BIG book is the Tariff Book, Harmonized Tariff Schedule for the United States, so that's where I find the duty on lots on ... well ... anything

Close up, hahahahah

Smaller Books are the Federal Code of Regulations, blah, blah, blah...

Okay, I need some freeking sleep...

Wow, Vixjean....that's a big book!

Good morning, Bluesers

It’s Monday morning and I’m sitting here singing the same ole song. I went off-plan again this weekend. Ladies’ night got the best of me. I’m incredibly frustrated with myself. I’ve set a goal to be in Onederland by my birthday – July 14th. As of today, I have exactly 15 weeks to lose 29.3 pounds. I really really need to find some commitment and motivation on the weekends so that I don’t totally destroy any progress I make during the week. At this rate, I’m only managing to maintain. That’s just not acceptable to me. So, I’m starting over yet again.

Hope everyone has a great on-plan day.

Well I did my last weigh in and I was down 1 more pound making a total of 21.1 pounds lost this challenge. Even with the last few weeks of sabotage. I'm surprised I still lost after this weekend with my Mom's 50th birthday party. I didn't eat too bad other than cake and ice cream so that's probably why. Now I just have to take more pictures and upload them. The pants I wore in the beginning pictures don't even fit anymore and the top is also a lot bigger.

That is great!! I think I have only eaten at a buffet a handful of times. I do like Shoney's breakfast bar when I am in the South. We did not do buffets because my mom said that much food was obscene.

I need excuses not to be with my MIL. They like Golden Corral. I told her I refused to eat anywhere that referred to me as a 'heifer' on their bathroom door. My kids are quite used to our not being 'the whole family' where my ILs are concerned.

What will you be certified as when you are done with this? I hope it pays millions of dollars!

Nori--I was probably 10 before I realized that fruit was not dessert. Mom gave us fruit, called it 'dessert' and we believed her. On Sundays we usually got something more sugary. (Brownie pudding.....yummmmm)

Ok so a few things this morning for me. Just kind of off the to of my head cause I'm feeling silly at the moment:

I have the strange urge to call Anna Ice-Tee from now on

Kelly is going to make me skip doing homework to finish V's book (btw I'm only on the part where they are taking V home from the hospital. )

Its cold in my office and its 74 in here.

I want a diet coke.... stat

I need to my butt in shape this next challenge :P

That is all...
