Anna - I'm with you on ditching the inlaws. I tried to go along and play nice for years before I realized that they really didn't want me there any more than I wanted to be there.
Nori - Southern food is a killer. I could have passed up BBQ, but pecan pie is a huge temptation for me. All sugar though, so I try to say no....mostly.
Vanessa - If I'd have gone through the amount of stress you've gone through during this challenge, I would have stress ate myself into oblivion. You've done great!
I had to post a huge gain, and even though I know it's TOM, it's still disappointing. I've been up since 4am with a minor backache that won't go away. I really need to get back on my vitamin regime, it minimized the effects of pms. As it is now, I'm popping Midol. At least I managed to get a lot done while I wasn't sleeping. I went for a walk, transplanted my zucchini and snow peas, did more dished, planned my food. I'm productive but sleepy.
Is anyone else watching the Paul McKenna show on TLC?

Okay....so, I had to use freebie #2. My weight gain was under a pound, but it's still a gain....grr. Actually, I'm not too upset by it because I am due to get my period today or tomorrow. I've been killing it at the gym this past week, and I'm out of my funk. I met with "my simon" (my personal trainer) and we did all my measurements and stuff today. Oh well, all I can say is that it can only get better from here on out. I'm so excited to start working out with free weights, and we meet for my first session on Saturday.
I hope everyone is doing well....I've been so busy with work the past few days. I'll check in later so I can read back and see what everyone's been up too. I'm off to take my 15 year old daughter to the doctor for a physical.

I've had an on-plan breakfast, snack and lunch...but, I'm already making excuses for not exercising. This mental block is getting annoying. What's the big deal. Its only an hour out of my day and I can do it right here in my own house.
I knocked out 30 minutes this morning after getting the kiddies on the bus. Treadmill walking with interval sprints. YahoO! Makes the whole day feel so much better even if it's gray & cloudy here too.
