Nori, you're welcome! Glad you liked it. I love being positive and lately it's been so hard for me to do that. But after this month's PMS was gone I was ok. I'm better now and so grateful to be better.

Missing, I'm sorry you are weirded out by all that. I do know when I drink enough water I feel lots better. Sometimes I get extremely hungry, certain days. I try to just make it thru, lots of good food, lots of water. It should pass. Don't let it get you down.

Soul!! I love all that you posted! Makes lots of sense. Imma remember that next time I get anxious and scared about something. I will try hard not to eat over it and just feel it for real. Then let it pass. Smart.

Hiya Rhonda, Chelle, Purple, Vix, Fran, Kelly, Diva, Zink, Melissa, and all of you other Bluezers and wannabe Bluezers who come to visit!!! LOLOLOL!!! Want me to break out the blue paint for ya?

Did ok today. Not enough water tho, still. Uggh!!! I just hate drowning in it. I got to finish the last TBL today, hadn't had a chance to watch it. Seeing Ali look so great and fit makes me wanna get up at 530 am every day and work out til 7 when kids need to get up to get ready to go. Then in the summer get up then so I can work out b4 the kids need me too. Hmmm... wonder if I could get myself into the habit. I just might do that... and if I do... I bet I'll lose like crazy because I never exercise at all anymore. If I do it, you all better step it up too or I just might win the next challenge! Think Imma wait to exercise til right when we start it. LOL. Just going to work on maintaining or losing a little now.

Did I tell you that I have decided to wait to do the C25k because my dad's joints are really really bad and his doc said to warn his kids to be easy on ours? Sucks!!! So hopefully when I get to 177 I can start then. Should be better on my joints.

Oh one other thing, do any of you notice that if you wait until you are really hungry to eat, that sometimes it happens at bad times? Like I can eat a little breakfast, then eat about 2pm a good lunch then don't want anything til now, 1130pm???? So I am eating Spaghettios and tea with sw and low and fresh lime..mmmmm.. love it. What is the deal with that?? Then go to bed feeling good! LOL.

Ok, I'll shut up for a while, you all know how I can get sometimes. I go on and on and on and on and on and on... well u get the drift. Ha! Ok, nite!!

Hugs, Selina

Mother Nature is mean. It's snowing outside. And its not light either. Although it feels warm enough to change to rain. Which isn't any better. Ah well. Gotta go back to loading up the car to go to the gym and work.

I was supposed to be inspired by Jane Goodall, but now I am convinced the planet is a lost cause.

Friday weigh in---all moving in the right direction. Maybe NOT counting calories is the way to go.

Treadmill later. Gotta do some math with the kids and tie Will to a chair to get him to write a thank you note! Then I have to pack everyone.

I have my women's circle tonight. Lot of good food. Then St. Louis this weekend. Lots of snacking available. I will have to be strong. Since DH is going, no chance to use the hotel gym.

Got home late. TIRED today.

Missing--sorry you had such a weird day. Let us know what happens today and see what you figure out. I could eat 2 avocados on a matter of principle, hungry or not.

Selina--not having a positive day, but I like the quote.

All you people with warm weather, insert gesture here. All of you with snow, you have my sympathy. Just rainy and ugly here today.

I get days like this, and I've figured out it normally happens when I have a very active day, like walking all day or just being on the nonstop run and not sitting down, OR whenever I change my exercise routine and/or bump up the time spent exercising. I give myself some extra calories on those days because I figure I must need it I used to think it happened randomly, but I have it pegged now to extra energy output = a bit more energy input. You are doing good keeping it healthy and checking each time to make sure it is real hunger, not emotions or boredom.

We're supposed to have another sunny day today, so I plan on hitting the park with the kids again. I had SO much fun yesterday with them...I actually played with them, and did everything they did, and I was worn out in the end. We were playing follow-the-leader, taking turns leading everyone up a ladder/climby thing of choice, then down by choice. Well, my son decided we all needed to go down the twisty slide on our bellies and have to say I started to go and got scared I felt like an idiot, screamed and sat up, went down sideways smooshed in that little slide while my kids laughed hysterically at mommy being scare it was fun, but I really was scared to go down that way! I could feel like I was going to fly fast because of my weight.

Anyway, this park has all these big rocks and the kids like to climb up and jump off them, and I did that with them as well. FUN!

missingmyerica - I find that when I am in a munchy mood, if I drink a glass of water or chew on a stick of sugar free gum that helps me for a while. Try to figure out if you are truly "Hungry" or if you are just having a case of the munchies. Use the water and/or gum for the munchies and eat for the hunger. It works for me

Well, I am hoping yesterday was a back on track day and I have gotten back on this weight loss train instead of standing in front of it looking at the pretty light

I got up this morning and since I am working from home, did a short 50 minute workout on my recumbant bike. First time in almost 2 weeks that I have done an "Official" workout. Need a shower, but other than that I am good and glad to have worked out.

I weighed this morning (as I am a chronic scale person) and an happy to say I am back to being headed in the right direction. I am still going to push for getting to 222 (isn't it a pretty number), but with my weight loss stopage last week, it may be difficult to get there, but I am going to try hard.

I hope that the end of the challange is going well for everyone. I figure that any loss is good and that we are all the winners.

Big THANKS to Chelle for all your hard work on this and the next challange (I am so excited, because I am going to see wonderland before the end of the next challange ... I will ... I will ... I will!!).

Talk to you all later!
Kelly

ACK! Kelly.... you must work for extra with your gum chewing suggestions!

I know you're gonna get to Onederland... and then when you get there we can hold hands and skip down the road to goal together

Treadmill, plank, sit ups, treadmill, plank sit ups.

Now I am, as Meara says, "all stink".

Just doing my part for us to win at least one of the final weeks.

Just got back from the gym...walked/jogged 2 miles and strength training. I got a personal trainer too! His name is simon and I'm going to meet with him once a week. I'm so excited and NOT hungry like yesterday! Hope everyone is having a great day. I'm off to work!

I'm here. Lurking. At work today and working on a slew of allergy tests. Got them incubating right now. It's that season. Or at least it was last week when all the buds were blooming and this blood was drawn! Right now it's freakin' snowing again.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your trainer, Lisa. I started with one a couple months ago and went to him 1 time a week. Now I go 2 times a month. I don't need a lot of supervision - but it's nice to get new workouts to break it up. I think 24 Hour Fitness overcharges for the training though? 60$/hour with the package I buy. Otherwise it's 75$/hour. You can get it for $45/hour if you buy a $1500 package. DH gets it for free at his gym, so we justify it that way!

I've just been busy this morning. I attempted to read the thread earlier and was interupted. I had another chiroprator appointment this morning, and now I can't turn my neck at all. I thought he was supposed to be helping me not trying to kill me.

Nori - We're the same age. (It was a good year)

Chelle - I couldn't find any of Angela Knight's books, I may have traded them. Have you already read Tanya Huff's series? I brought a couple of her books with me today in case you hadn't. How about Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire series? Not so much steamy, but very funny.

Lisa - I'm jealous! I'd love to hire a trainer.

Kelly - Good job on getting back on track!

What month were you born, Dee? I was born in July. Yes, great year!

Sorry your neck hurts. Was it real tight before? Sometimes if I'm a mess when I go in for an adjustment, because my muscles are so tight it does hurt. I love my chiropractor! He is part magician I think!
