Rhonda - I seem to be holding the cold at bay, it was probably just allergies, a reaction to the pollen that's covering everything down here.
Chelle - Whiney? Drama? Who us? You my dear team leader are a BAD influence. I ran out to the bookstore yesterday at lunch and bought Dark Lover and Lover Awakened. That's all they had at my favorite used bookstore. I need more to read about as much as I need another few pounds on the scale. Have you read the Angela Knight's series about vampires/mages? It's really steamy.
I woke up screaming at 4:40am this morning, I rolled the wrong way and I've thrown my back out again. I just got back from the Chrio and I'm slathered in Biofreeze. That's some good stuff. I have another appointment tomorrow, so there goes my workouts for a another few days. I'm down 1.5 of the mystery 7 pound gain. I'm thinking PMS and water retention from the canned soup I ate the other day.
I posted my lack of team preference yesterday, but you know I really want to stay Blue, right. I just wanted to state that I'm willing to be moved with no drama.

And yes, blame the soup.
I left at 2:30 yesterday afternoon and did not get home until after 10:30. That is a lot of running around for one woman! I leave in two hours to see Jane Goodall, and won't be back until about 10 tonight. Tomorrow I have a million little projects to finish, then the offspring and I leave first thing Saturday morning for St. Louis, only to come back on Sunday.
On the plus side, both the kids were gone this morning. DH and I had some alone time and did not have to whisper!!!
LOL! I love the non-whispering variety. Actually 1 night a few weeks ago we had something very embarrassing happen. DH was "blessing" me and apparently I was not whispering. 4 yo DD came into our room crying saying that she heard lions and they were scaring her. I about died. She was clueless. But still.

Just wait until she's 12 and has a pretty good idea of what's going on. Really puts a damper on things. There is no spontaneity anymore. All I can do is pray that she is invited for a lot of sleepovers!
Empty nest syndrome?....bring it on (at least, for a day or two!)

Dee, are those azalea's? I love those colors! The bartlett pear and cherry trees are blooming here now. Beautiful! I'll have to see if I can get a picture.

I'm hungry, but I'm not sure I should be driving yet. I'm going to go see if I can bribe a co-worker to go get me a salad, I'm craving lettuce.
