I'm sorry your having a rough time here, Chellez! (And that you're not making love!!) The drama blows my mind here. I have enough in my IRL life that I cannot be bothered getting all worked up online. As a team leader you don't have a choice.

I did sign up to be vice-chair at the girls co-op preschool next September. So I'm sure there'll be lots of drama then!!

Goodnight girls!

Sorry you're having a bad night chelle, please know that so many of us do appreciate all the work you put into these challenges, I'm personally very grateful. Boy can threads get interesting really quick around this place, as an uninvolved onlooker I will admit it is quite entertaining, though as a party to the drama I'm sure it is much less fun.

Hope everyone has a fantastic on plan Wednesday!

Hello Blues!
Sorry I haven't been around for a couple of weeks. It it doesn't seem as if anyone missed me though. Hasn't anyone wondered what happened to me?

Work has me on the edge of losing my mind and contemplating quitting my job without another one lined up right behind it. I got called in to work on Sunday (which is why I forgot to post) and then my lead quit yesterday and walked out in the middle of his shift. I can't work 7 days a week! Argh! OK, enough whining from me.

Hope everyone is doing well.

- Sonja

Sonja - I saw you hadn't weighed in again this week and I was worried...

I just have 500 million other things on my mind. I just never get around to asking :P

Don't worry! We still love you!

Yes! I did notice you were missing and I was so sad. I thought you might have left the challenge even though you've done so very well. I didn't PM or anything because I didn't want to seem pushy or like I'm stalking you. But, I'm very happy to see a post from you. Hope the work situation straigthens out for you soon.

Of course we wondered, but I figured it was just the holiday or spring break or something. I had every confidence that you would be back!

And where do you work? Good lord, it sounds like a circus!

I'm glad Rhonda stalks me!

Otherwise I'd go into emotional breakdowns and stuff... ty for the PM's and encouraging words last night everyone.

Speaking of which... Rhonda.. you finished Dark Lover yet?

You are all over the boards today....don't you have homework to do?

I don't know that I was encouraging, but I tried to be amusing.

No I'm already 4 chapters ahead of my class so I'm hanging out today. I could be reading my book but I'm strung out and need to get back in the swing of chatting on the boards. I've been slacking lately.

I’m actually back on-plan today….for the first time in about a week. It’s been quite a struggle to get my head back in the game this time. A big part of the reason is that I’m exhausted! This insomnia is getting the best of me. I got about 4 hours of sleep last night and I have a very full day of work ahead of me. But, I’m giving it 100% effort today and I’m determined to get back on track. I remembered to set-up the crockpot last night and I have a fresh batch of steelcut oatmeal for breakfast this morning. I’ve found that my morning oatmeal seems to get me started off on the right track and I have an easier time of it throughout that day. Let’s hear it for oatmeal!

I had never even heard of falafel, so I googled it. Looks kinda like a meatball?

Oh yes! And, moved onto the next one in the series. Did I catch a glimpse of Zsadist’s upcoming romance? That one is going to be exceptionally good! I’m so excited to find a new author to read. I just wish she had more books out as it looks like I’m going to run through these pretty quickly.

My daughter’s both love to write. I’m hoping one of them becomes a writer one day. As an avid reader, I think that would be the greatest thing in the world….second only to them making me a Grandma, of course! Chellez and Anna, how is your writing going?

It's getting kinda quiet around here. Hope that doesn't mean that many of you are off plan.

Anna, how is your writing going?
Yes, let's hear it for oatmeal!

Looks like a meatball, made of chickpeas. Yum.

Writing is not going well. I am to a point where I need to have a large block of time to do some editing. The kids no longer go to the sitter on Tuesdays because I am using that money to pay for the new washer. I don't like the way I write at night, and my people deny me sleep, so it is hard to get up in the morning to do it. Plus, I have been spring cleaning.

Does that just about cover every possible excuse to deny my fear of failure and rejection?

Rhonda - I put a pause on my writing... JR Ward's got me tied up..

Speaking of which... you need to look at my Book Exchange woman! I'm sending Dark Lover to Lisa tomorrow... If you want I can send Lover Awakened to you. That's Z's book.

Looks like its going to be another fun day in the neighborhood.
