Good Morning ladies! I am down a couple more lbs since friday and since I was attacked by the evil Burger King! LOL! YAY!!!

Weigh-In Tip:
I did want to mention something about weight-in, PLEASE put your exact weight because they go by percentage, so DO NOT round. If you weight 201.4, put it down just like that don't round it off to 201 and be done with it. Thank you very much. and Julz, I lubs you too hehe!

As for the wedding & the in laws....They live 10 hours from us up in PA, and we are going up there for the week of 4th of July, like we do ever year, and since they live there and I don't, I really don't mind they they are handling things. What makes me mad is that the few things I HAVE asked for just keeps getting pushed to the side. Like the cake I wanted, too expensive, so I am having to settle for a lesser one... The date and location changed because we was going to go it in Gatlinburg, TN (up the road) in a cute little chapel (The Chapel of Love, hehe) in March because I wanted to keep it close to our anniversary, but they all say it'll be hard for them to get here, and asked if we could change the date and do it up there, so I agreed. I really didn't have a problem with any of it until they called Friday and pretty much changed the cake, the location from sister in laws house to camp ground, blah blah blah... I dunno, maybe I am just getting the wedding jitters? lol! It'll all be fine I am sure. It's just that I've already done this twice, and BOTH times before I had NO say either, so THIS final and LAST time, I wanted it to be the way I wanted it, yanno?

Also, Jesse is changing where we were going to stay and he THINKS we are going to stay in a tent the entire week. WHATEVER. He might, but my behind is getting a hotel room the last half of that week and ESPECIALLY the night before and night of. I mean seriously, and woman cannot get ready for her wedding, shave legs and all that girly stuff in a tiny little camper with a zillion people there. Um NO NOT going to happen. He seriously needs to get a grip and recognize who's boss here. LOL! He doesn't want to make Bridezilla emerge!

Good morning Black team!

Some of the numbers on the weigh in are incredible. I am proud of all of us.

I am going to the Y today to workout. I am still so glad that we decided to join. Today is my dd birthday so we are taking her to Chuck E Cheese tonight to celebrate. I either have to eat here before we leave or eat only a salad there. I will let Mikella decide what we are going to do for dinner.

I can't wait to see the results of this weeks weigh in. I am sure that all of the teams did great! It is amazing all the weight that is being lost through this challenge.

I am off to eat breakfast and get started on school for the day. Have a great OP day everyone. I will try to check in again tonight.

Hi everyone. I have been purposely staying away from the boards because I have been trying to wrap my head around getting started again. It's funny, it's almost like going through a loss of a friend; a sort of mourning period, if you will. I know that in order for my body to be the healthy body that God designed it to be, I need to move more and eat less. It's a fact. I can't lose weight by doing nothing about it and just hoping to get smaller. I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to get to the point where I realize that this part of my life is not going to resolve itself without some effort on my part.

So, at the risk of sounding like a cliche, here I go again! I am trying to keep it as simple as possible to avoid the mental head games that I play with myself. My plan is to follow YOAD, while also keeping track of calories so as not to go over my target. I am still not at the point with my knee (injured it on New Year's Day) where I can do anything on my elliptical, but I can do some upper body weights and walk slowly around my house. No treadmill and 5 degree, snowy weather keeps me from walking outside.

The thing that matters most for me, though, is keeping my head straight. The whole thing for me is like 98% mental. So I think it would also be beneficial for me to journal as I am going along. Last but not least, finding the time to get on this board and post more often.

Thanks for being here.
One minute, one hour, one meal, one day at a time!

Tara! Nice to see you girly! We are following the smae diet and doing the same thing as far as calorie counting and whatnot. I'm happy to see you posting. Come here a lot gf. These people @3FC have me to where I am not even mourning all the bad foods anymore. I look at it as poison that was slowly killing me and is still killing my Mom. I LOVE to go read peoples stories in the reached Goal forum. So very inspiring and it helps me to see that women here are losing 100's of pounds. If they can do it, so can I and so can you!!!!!

Good luck!!!

Also, we had 2 more ladies post their initial weigh-in post on there....which means that we only have 2 more left to have a 100% turn out from our initial team list!!!!

My goal shirt(s) would say:

....to look on the outside how I feel on the inside

....to finish what I started for once (stolen from Julie on TBL)

WOW I think my shirt would say the same thing as my signature

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I know that I can not lose weight without Papa God. I have tried so many times on my own that I have finally learned that I can not do this without relying on him.

I am currently learning patience
I lost 2 pounds this week - I know that this is a good number but my old self wants to get depressed and go eat but God is in control and I am not going to do that. So instead I will spend my day doing homework lol

Hi guys, I can't believe the weekend has come and gone...

wow we are doing great with out first weight in, I am looking forward to seeing the percentages tomorrow!

My workout is done for the day, I went up another level on my treadmill program, and it nearly killed me, lol I haven't jogged/ran that much since I don't know when, I wanted to stop so many times, but I pushed myself and finished the 30 minutes.

My goal shirt would say
"To be a happier and healthier mommy"

Hi All,
I don't know how well I did eating this weekend, but I don't seem to have gained any weight. Saturday was my son's last wrestling meet, he's a senior this year and except for a few dual meets he is done for the season, just has to keep workingout and supporting the other wrestlers. I ended up eating lunch at the meet, and they didn't have anything healthy so i made due with a walking taco and tried not to eat all the chips.
What would my goal sheet say? I'm not sure, but maybe something like:
I'm not hiding anymore!

I just saw this and I'm adding it.
1. What is something you accomplished last week that you are proud of?
Read to my Daughter
2. What is your exercise goal for the week?
walk or other exercise for 2 hours this week
3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Right where I live now, rural Iowa
4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would it be?
hard choice between Europe, Mountains and Ocean.
5. Who is your inspiration?
I'm not sure, there are so many inspiring people in the world, it varies depending on what I need at the time

Good morning all! I can't BELIEVE some of the fabulous numbers I have been seeing on the weigh in thread. Congratulations to everyone! It was really inspiring to me to see 5-8lbs for some people, and made me rethink what I could accomplish in a week. Maybe I'm limiting myself by just thinking that I could only do 2-3 lbs per week. I'll try for more next week and see.

1. What is something you accomplished last week that you are proud of? I went for a really nice long walk with a friend. We covered a lot of distance in a fairly short time.

2. What is your exercise goal for the week?
105 minutes of exercise to start...works out to 15 min per day, but I may do more on some days and less on others.

3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Right here! I love where I live. If I could afford it thought, I'd have vacation homes in NYC, The Bahamas and Europe.

4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would it be?
Oops, see above...I'd like to see too many places to name though.

5. Who is your inspiration?
For weight loss? It's my aunt Cathy. I went around for years thinking people from our family don't lose weight easily. Then she dropped 80lbs with careful eating and exercise! I find the success stories on here very motivating as well.
