Evening Blue teammies~
thought I'd try to post before I got comfy to watch my show. Sounds like everyone is doing well. I had my WW meeting today and am down .6, and as long as it's going down I'm happy. I too need to kick up the exercise, that's my goal for this week. Me and my youngest walked to the library this evening after dinner, it was 2.3 miles round trip. And I'm going to do a little ab work while I'm watching the Riches.
Is everyone's kiddos out of school? My boys last day is next Monday.
I'm going to go try to post on the exercise and water thread. hope it lets me. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Ugh - I'm so not feeling good. Late yesterday my sinuses started bothering me. And then, TOM showed up. Should make for an interested WI this week!

It's been rainning here so I haven't been getting out for my big walks. It is supposed to rain up to Thursday. How depressing!

Good morning ladies! Well summer vaction has offically started for us! Today is my oldest sons last day of school and he only goes for an hour so he will be home shortly. I think I am ready for it though, and I know the kids are. It will be nice not to be on such a strict schedule and just chill and enjoy the long summer evenings! I love how much daylight we get in the summer! Well I made it to the gym yesterday for the first time in awhile and it felt wonderful. It felt so good to work my muscles and break into a sweat. I have my lower body to do today and I'm looking forward to that since that is my biggest concern with my body. I did get all my dang laundry done so today is just kinda going to be picking up and then getting out and enjoying the nice weather. It is only supposed to be a high of 65 today and then by tommorow or Thursday up to 90....that is just craziness! Only in sweet home Chicago is weather this wacky! Well I am off to make the beds up and let some fresh air in this house! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Evening ladies
I had a good day today. I got in 2 walks, a.m and p.m. I wore my pedometer on both. So my totals are:
Walk time~ 115 minutes; Steps~ 12,563; Miles~ 4.9; Cals~ 901.
I'm a happy camper and I still have 2 pts left.
Tina I didn't realize you were in the Chicago area, we're 3 or so hours from each other and definetly share the same wacky weather.
I hope everyone has had a great day. I'm going to go catch up on the the other threads.
Talk to you all tomorrow.

Jenny~ I hope you

Good morning ladies! Well I am happy to report I am back on track and doing great so far this week! I have had urges to overeat but I just go outside with the kids to keep me out of the house. I know I'm not hungry I am just plain bored so getting out of the house seems to work. I have made it to the gym twice this week already and today is cardio only so I am going to enjoy this cooler weather and go for a nice walk/jog outside. Do any of you feel weird jogging around your neighborhood. I don't know why I do....I guess I think I look funny, but I love the feeling of jogging so I am going to push past the akwardness and just do it. I guess I read way more into it then I should. I mean come on like people are sitting in their windows waiting to see me jog on by. It is going to be cool here again and then it looks like tommorow its going up to 90. I was just starting to enjoy my windows open with all the fresh air. Oh well I guess it is summer right? Well I am off to make the beds and eat breakfest and then walk here I come. Have a wonderful day ladies!

Cathy- I love Michigan!!! We go to St. Joe's alot and I love the downtown area and the beach is beautiful! Also this place is so not diet friendly but everytime we go we stop at Redamaks for burgers....hands down the best burger we have ever had! Good think we only go once a year

jennylou- hope your feeling better today!

Jen- Has the rain stopped yet? It finally dried up here!

Mo- you are doing fantastic! Your right a loss every week big or small is something to be proud of. Keep it up girl!

Let's pull another Blue victory this week!

Hi ladies,

I haven't had the chance to check in as much as I have wanted to. Today was a bit crazy. Do you ever feel too lazy to make a healthy meal and are so hungry that you just want to eat the quickest thing available - i.e. usually the processed and fast foods? I think this is the dieters biggest hurdle, and downfall. Today I was so lazy that I snacked and grazed and found myself eating a 270 calorie cookie. I also realized that when I am stressed about something, I turn to food. I'm on maternity leave and have to go back into work tomorrow for a meeting and I think it stressed me out - so I turned to the old friends.....food!!! Now that I've been dieting since mid-March - almost 3 months, I've realized what my downfalls have been in the past. I ate WAY too much - little bits at a time, my sons leftovers etc. but these all added up to a whole lot of extra calories in the end - and no exercise. Now that I am eating healthy and exercising, I don't really think too much about what I am missing and have accepted my new lifestyle but today I saw the old habits creeping in and it scared me. In the past I would have just given up right then and binged on anything/everything. I see how well I've done over the last couple of months (22lbs to date) and don't want to go back to that way of living or that body!! Anyhow - sorry to babble on but I just wanted to post about that, get it off my chest and move on.

The weather here in Toronto is pretty crazy. Last night was bloody FREEZING! Apparently friday will be hot again. The colder weather is not the greatest motivation for taking walks! Any of you other Ontarians finding this?

Evening ladies~
Thought I'd check in before bed. Had another good day. Lovely cool weather, felt great on my walks. Tomorrow suppose to hit around 90 as well, I plan on doing a walk in the morning and coming home to mow the yard then depending how hot/humid it is in the evening I'll either walk again or ride the exercise bike in the basement. My youngest has his end of the year picnic tomorrow so I'll pack us up a good, balanced lunch.

Sassy~ You're doing awesome!! You saw what was happening and stopped it! Babble all you want, that's what we're here for!!

Well need to go put them kids in bed. They're so antsy about school almost out and I let them stay up longer than normal for a school night.
I'll talk with ya'll tomorrow. Have a terrrrrific Thursday!!

Morning Chickadees!

I'm so happy we won this week! Let's see if we can pull it off again for a repeat win!

My dieting has been kind of funky lately and I'm thinking it's because I started going back to school again full time instead of part time like I was before. When I was going part time I only had one class every other night so I had time to work out and plan ahead. Not to mention the material wasn't half as stressful as this term ( I have Accounting 1 and Financing 1) so I have to study twice as hard. I'm doing ok in my classes.... but I feel like my diet is suffering because of it.

And all these bridal showers aren't helping either! I just kind of feel like I'm in a whirlwind since the week of Memorial Day. I was thinking it was going to get better but it hasn't. That's why I gained last week. I keep hopping on the scale in the morning and it's not changing, despite me eating my points and sometimes below my points. I think it may just be stress but who really knows right. Guess we'll find out Saturday morning!

So we've reached the half way mark and we are boot scooting right along on both our exercise and water challenges. Lets keep up the good work to the finale!

Good morning ladies! Well it is going to be hot and windy here today! I am taking the kids to my aunts house this afternoon to go swimming. Yesterday the kids and I went to a skate park/park and had a picnic. It was a really nice day yesterday and it felt wonderful being out in the fresh air. I am going to keep these little buggers busy this summer or they will drive me insane. Good thing we know so many people with pools because they all love the water and don't complain at all when they are swimming. This morning I have some laundry to get done before we go and then I am off to pay a bill for my husband and then off we go. I got in a nice run/walk last night and my food was pretty good besides the cheese crackers I got into. I stopped myself though when I felt it getting out of hand so that is good. Well ladies you all have a fantastic day!

Chellez- I know stress plays a huge part into my eating! You have a ton going on right now....I mean just planning a wedding is enough but school on top of that is alot. Just try and take it one day at a time and do the best you can!

Cathy- Have fun at the picnic today!

Sassy- You should be really proud of yourself for seeing what you were doing to yourself and stopping it so quickly. It usually takes me a week before I'm like okay enough of punishing myself. Hang in there hun!

Have a good one ladies!

It's like 95 degrees here today - hot, hot, hot! Needless to say, I'm trying to stay cool.

I really need to get back on the water and exercise routine. I've gotten in about 20 ounces of water today, so I have tons more to drink to hit 8 glasses. That's okay, I'm going to work outside, so I'm sure I'll have no problems getting it in.
