Don't worry... I've been kind of MIA this weekend.

I haven't really gotten all of my water through out the weekend so I'll need to step that up through tonight and the rest of the week. I haven't exercised but I may go walking if I don't work on my business plan project in a few minutes.

Hope everyones having a great weekend. Make sure you weigh in by Monday!

Have been sooo busy the last few days. Eating hasn't been great and I've only gotten a couple walks in...nothing that is going to burn fat. But tomorrow is a new week and I'm ready for it!
Hope everyone is doing great!

babygrant, I loved that "I have a big dementia exam..."

Busy weekend for me, too...it was quiet here this weekend so everyone must have been tending to things. I cooked a great dinner tonight of fish, broiled tomatoes and yellow squash, fresh asparagus, and rice (for hub). He is suddenly interested in eating a little more healthily (?) healthy? you know what I mean, so I'm very hopeful.

I got some good walks with the girls, too, and even though today was hot hot hot and humid (for Dallas) we were out for 90 minutes total.

OK. I'll weigh in tomorrow. I hope you all are doing well. OH! I checked in on our stats thread...candlemaker you are really kicking it, girl! Wow.

nite-nite. choosewell.

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!

I finally have the house to myself again. The kid has 2 weeks left of school and the man started his first day @ the new job. He was so silly and excited this morning! hehe...Anywho, gonna enjoy my last 2 weeks of peacefulness and calm before school let's out for the summer.

Since my knees are bothering me a bit, I am going to change things up this week. I have decided since my bike is STILL broke, I am going to walk 2 miles to the Community Center, Swim laps for 30 minutes, and then walk back home another 2 miles, Mon, Wed, and Friday, on Tuesday and Thurday, I'll do about 40 minutes of cardio or Dancing, and then lift weights(Full body). I may toss in a Weight lifting session over the weekend or after a Walk/swim day. I'll rest over the weekend, but we usually have yard work or something going on to keep me moving. Wish me luck in keeping myself motivated. I am hoping I can do this all summer and make it a habbit. Once I get the bike working, or just get a new one, I'll Ride the 4 miles instead of walk.

Also we went looking for land to buy this weekend. We found some and fell totally in love with it. It's wooded and hilly, with just enough leveled out room for a house, pool, drive way and Basket-ball hoop, OMG! We SOOOO loved it. It has maple and oak trees, shaded in places and sunny in others...I WANT it!!!! It's a new development, so the lots surrounding it are empty as well so if all works out we can get 2 lots and if we are REALLY lucky, buy ALL 3 because I LOVE them. Anywho, pray for us and cross your fingers for me! If not, then it wasn't meant to be right? If I've learned anything these past few months is everything happens for a reason....If one thing doesn't work out the way ya want it to, it simply means there is a better thing lurking around the corner...

Has anyone seen the Lastest Rocky flick, 'Rocky Balboa"? I love the Rocky movies, LOL! I'm silly, but this latest one, Rocky gives his son a speech/lecture, and OMG, the message in it was awesome! I told my man we need to Youtube it so I can share it with y'all. It was awesome. Basically, he was saying that when we get knocked down to keep getting up. It's not how hard or how often we get hit, but how we take these hits, and that we have to keep getting back up! I thought it was a great message and can be applied to this losing weight thing, because YES, we are all going to fall from time to time, but the important thing is, we get back up and get back on track! If we allow ourselves to fall and stay down then we'll lose this fight and that is NOT an option!!! So, even if ya mess up, don't beat yourself up, just dust yourself off and get back on track.

Drink your water ladies!!!! Gulp gulp gulp!!!!

Morning ladies!

Well its Monday and normally I would post my super long message, but this morning I'm afraid I don't have the time! I have a huge project due on Wednesday and I really need to get to working on it so I have some material to share with my slacker partner tonight.

So anyway.

There's still some people that haven't weighed in this week and I need these people to weigh in by 10 pm EST tonight. This will be your reminder cause I doubt I'll have time to send out my pm's like I normally do.

Don't know how I did this week. I barely ate my 25 points all weekend and I think thats going to hurt me tomorrow at weigh in. I also didn't drink much water this weekend either so I'm drinking a lot today and tomorrow to clean out my system. Don't worry.... I stayed on plan and that's a good thing.

Still have to see where I can fit in exercise, or where I can pull the motivation to do it.

I'll try to be back later to post the weekly topic and motto. If it's not today it will definately be tomorrow!

Eating and exercise were awful this weekend! I am sooo feeling it this morning. My stomach is killing me and I just feel BLAH!!!! I am eating clean this week though and pushing water water water! I don't know I had a whole dang Mother's Day weekend celebration going on and thought I could eat whatever the heck I wanted to. UHHH back on it today though and looking forward to getting back to normal over here. This week is super busy for me with running the kids around so I am going to be working out alot at home this week. I tell you with these nice days I find it so hard to get to the gym in the evening! I just want to sit out with my family and enjoy the 2 hours we have all together! Well I am off to workout, shower, and pick up my little man! Have a great day ladies!

Well, I'm back on track today. Had a great day food and water-wise. For exercise I've decided to get back into my t-tapp dvds ( www.t-tapp.com )- my sisters and I all joined a 60 day challenge. So I am going to do a "bootcamp" where I do a full body workout every day for 10-14 days and then go to every other day. Took my measurements Saturday night so I'm hoping to shrink shrink shrink! lol
Let's make it a great week 4!!

Hellooooooo,
I only went down 1lb! I guess that is better than gaining 1! I hardly did any exercise over the weekend. A little mowing, gardening etc. I walked 3 miles down my long country road today. Lots of rolling hills and the sweet smell of manure. This week I really have to pay attention to what I am eating. I do pretty well but will am not as strict as I should be.

Canadian mom and Tina,
You girls are so close to goal! It must feel great!!

I wish everyone luck this week!!

Ok ladies!

Its 10 pm and the weights are in. I don't have my chart here at home but I can tell you when I looked at it prior to going to school this afternoon we were definately having a rough week last week. Just to give you an idea, we had a steady 30 pound loss the first two weeks and I think we had under 10 this past week.

But no fear! This week is a new week! We just really need to focus on recommiting and remembering that we are losing for the better! Mo has already recommited and lost 6 pounds for our team for Week 4. I weigh in tomorrow and I am pretty sure its not a gain if I'm fitting into regular women's 14's

Well I'm going to head off to bed. Make sure you are planning those meals and working hard! We are doing so well as a team. I'd like to hear more from those of you that don't post often. Are your strategies at home working? Let us know you're alive!

Cool

Howdy all~
Well my crazy eating caught up with me at weigh in today. I gained .8 so last week's gain and this week has me 1lb up. ( at myself) I got on track over the weekend, and am confident that I'll see a loss this week as I'm determined to stay the course. Today's meeting was about urges and cravings, so it fit perfect with what was going on with me a few days ago.

Choose~ I'm not sure if I told you before, I grew up in Ft. Worth, went to school in Crowley. Me and my boys come home every summer. We'll be coming home in July. The Wildlife Warrior is in regards to Steve Irwin, me and the boys are big fans, since 2000. And I give to that organization. But we do have property here that has lots of wildlife. I've been watching a pair of Red tailed Hawks the last 3yrs, and just said to my dh yesterday that I've not seen them this spring yet and was wondering if they're nesting elsewhere. I read that their territory spans 35 mile radius.

to the losers this week. I wasn't one of them, but will be next week!!
Gotta go catch up on the exercise thread and then off to dreamland. I'm working tomorrow so I'll check in late afternoon, early evening.
See ya later.

Good morning Team Blue! I was going to post last night, but the boards were having issues and a little while later were down for some maintenance. So, that means it's a quick little post for me today.

How are you doing today? Are you going to stay OP? What's your plan for doing so? Are you drinking your water? And finally, are you going to get your exercise in? I know, I know, lots of questions! It's hard to sometimes get everything in (water, exercise and food), but I know on days that I do, I feel wonderful, so I encourage you to do the same this week.

I watch a cousins kids today (2 of them), plus I have my own DD. We'll be going on a walk today for sure - plus we may end up at the park for some time there as well. It's supposed to be 85 and I plan on tiring these kids out!

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Morning Ladies... Morning jennylou!

The results are up for the week. I hope they motivate us to push really hard this week! Not that we did horrible... we just need to work on getting those that gained back in the game! GROUP HUG!

It's very quiet and tiring in my office this morning. If I didn't have slow dial up here at work I'd load up some weight watchers fitness videos and do those since nothing's going on. (I work in the top of a garage by myself just in case you got a funny mental picture from that. )

Well I weighed in on my home scale this morning because I can never resist taking a peak before I weigh in on Tuesday night. I was 190 on my home scale which is usually 2 to 3 pounds higher than WW. I just hope I lost at least a pound or two this week.

So after my meeting I'm going to attempt going to the gym at my apt and walking on the treadmill.... I may just walk around the neighborhood since its always hot and smelly in that small gym.

Well I'm going to head off and find something to do. Sorry if I'm not in my normal peppy mood. Guess its just being tired/hoping this challenge goes smoothly and lack of concentration getting to me.
