Default 170's.. starting..

Hi!!! I am new here I came across this forum by searching and I think it would be helpful to get support while on diet, this way we keep progressing..
My weight fluctuates a lot..
Currently I have a 9 mo old baby and I have not came back to my original weight before pregnancy

I am standing at 177-176 and my aim is to go back to at least 154, and ideally to reach 132
Ah it seems very far...

I have started the cabbage soup diet as so I get enthusiastic about the weight loss, today I am on day 3... I am thinking of low carb diet, calorie counting, or weight watchers afterwards.. any recommendations?

Angiemama you seem to be doing great!!!!
Faunaflora I see you are moving to the 160's soon

Welcome Malll! This site is great. These 170s or 160s, ect are usually pretty awesome. It's been a bit slow since last month, but we'll both be in the 160s soon right?

I hit 174 this morning. Woop Woop! Now onto 173!

Cool.... approaching the 160's then...
my number was 78.5kg this morning, which is somewhere between 173 and 174 as well
I am sticking to the cabbage soup diet (CSD) today is day 5..
I survived a reception yesterday only drank water
I have a dinner on Saturday, it is making me abide by the diet so that the clothes will fit on, but I am afraid I will mess up the diet on Saturday..
I have to shift from the CSD diet to a more permanent system.. what are you relying on? calorie counting? have you tried something else? any recommendations?
BTW I love the ticker how can I make one?

There is a tutorial under the how to section,- it's under edit signature, but I think you have to have 25 posts or something like that to get one... or maybe it's after 25 days... I forget

Good job sticking to your diet plan! It's the hardest at events like that for sure.

I'm doing okay- still at 174. I had a rough weekend of travel so that made it hard to eat clean and healthy food. I'm on TOM too, so I'm hoping this week will bring some lost at the end

Sorry Angiemama and fauna for the late reply. i was on vacation! But I was a good girl. Still holding steady at 172 but I have lost inches! How is that possible? I fit into clothes from the days of yore but my weighing scale is steady at 172! Wahhhhh!!!

That's awesome gaga! I agree with malll- when you lose inches it's usually related to fantastic workouts. I have definitely lost WAY more in inches than my scale says I should have. I'm holding at 174 still.

I really think this is my pattern- lose, hold hold hold hold, lose again, and repeat. As long as it's still lose and no gain I'm okay with it

I am still ranging 173-174 as well!!!!
I agree, consolidating is important, now you are an expert in that.. I am still in the beginning so I have to make myself used to the new lifestyle of monitoring what I eat, and not eating just because I am bored or tired of work

I figured out about the ticker, it is after 20 posts and 20 days, no big deal..

so how many pounds you usually lose before consolidating? or it is how your body steers it? range 3-5 or 8-10? It definitely gets smaller when you are closer to your target weight, no?

That's awesome cosmic! I've been stuck hovering between 174 and 173 for a little over two weeks now and I'm over it! I'm ready to be in the 160s- like NOW.

I've got my focus back and I'm ready to do this!

Hi Ladies, hope I can join! I am doing weight watchers and weighed myself for my weekly this morning and it was 177.8. which is down 3.6 from last week

We always go on vacation early/mid September and my goal is to be in the 150s (159 would be fine!!!!) by then. And maybe 130s by Christmas, only I haven't been there since 1998

I have a couple tough weeks coming up with a wedding and my sister visiting, then the 4th of July parties, so I could definately use everyone support. And give it where needed!!!!

Do you guys weight yourself every day? I know it fluctuates and I would get worried that I could get discouraged. But I always eye the thing in the morning.

Hey all, so I'm checking in, I went up to .2 to 178 today. Bummer, but I'm glad that Im basically maintaining that jump from last week. I might switch to a twice a week scale thing.

I have been off the website for a while but reading this thread I am glad to see some ladies that left me behind in the 180s thread. I am trying to catch up with you guys. I h e been bouncing around the 170s for a while. Anywhere between 173 to 178 smh. I really want to see the 160s. That would be amazing. It's like I can't seem to be consistent enough to make it happen. It is so frustrated to be frustrated with your weight but then I don't want to be so strict that I resent the process. I am just trying to find that balance. So I am working ladies. How is everyone doing. Everybody is doing a great job by the way!!
