I am still 171-173. I ate no more than my calories all weekend, maybe a bit less because I was so busy, although I did have a treat ham and cheese grilled sandwich on friday and a handful of fries on sunday which I think made my salt intake high and thus some water retention. Sigh. I am feeling so much better yet I saw pictures of myself from this weekend and realized how fat I still am! I am 2 months in and 17 lbs down. It could be worse!! I just would like to be 20 lbs down before my 2 months is up! (I have 2 days to get rid of any water I am holding and NO chance of this given bloating coming up!). I wish I could go back to me 5 months ago and tell me to start NOW rather than in 3 months!
Harriette- 17lbs in two months is great! Try not to focus on dates and deadlines- our bodies don't recognize them. Just roll with the fluctuations and as long as they trend downwards over a period of time you are moving toward your goal.
Harriette - 17 lbs is amazing!!! Also cameras can add 10 lbs, so it would make you look like you did at 181.
I've been aiming at about 4% per month.
Tiffkuhn - congrats on going back down
I lost my beer weight from Sunday and am back down to 172.2. We all seem to be in the same range. Really going to try hard to eat clean the rest of the week and see a 169 by the end of next week.
I've been 179 for the past couple of days after being in the 180's for months. I'm really hoping that I can keep eating right and blow right through the 170's. I really miss the 160's and can't wait to see them again.
Welcome Skinny congrats on all the weight loss, 90 lbs in incredible!
I'm down .2 since yesterday to 172.0 . I've been doing JM 30 DS and started on Level 2 Monday. I ache everytime I move. My fingers hurt typing!! Good thing today is my day off or I would probably end up in a puddle on the ground somewhere.
173.6 again this morning. It's about to be TOM, so I am hoping to hold steady here and then see a big drop next week. I have been trying to get at least 3-4 miles of walking in throughout the day in addition to my time at the gym.
Morning everyone,
Tiffkuhn - thats a lot of walking and gym time! good for you I'm slightly intimidated by the gym, which is absurd because I worked in one in college. I mostly try to do stuff around my home, videos, treadmill and walking outside.
I hit 171.0 this morning and saw some 170.x flickering!! excited about that
Turtle- I just moved to Chicago from Miami and am really enjoying exploring the city! I just keep taking different routes to public transport for work, and take a walk at lunch around the city. As for gym time, it took me almost a year after starting th journey to get there. My husband is a huge gym buff and his new job requires him to travel alot, so the appeal of getting to spend that extra time together when he is in town made it easier to go.... after a few weeks the endorphins kicked in and now I love going. Just got a groupon for hot yoga near work, so I am going to do that when he is out of town.
Hi! New here......honestly, my scale will not register below 170. I think it's broken! STUCK,
That said, I was recently diagnosed with insulin resistance and have been watching carbs and sugar.....exercising more! Joining here will hopefully help me stay motivated!
Wanted to check in with you guys, I've had a plateau that Im battling for the past 1.5 weeks in addition to a minor injury thats healed. Im modified my diet to be low carb to jolt out of this stall.
but you guys have been doing great - Turtle you're gonna pass me soon.
Cosmic!!! Hello!! where did you disappear to.... oh thats right, you are in the 160s hehe. I actually have a natural set point where you are right now. I was naturally (no counting calories, no extreme exercising) at around 167/168 for ~3 years. Then I lost 20 lbs for my wedding and then gained 40 because of some medications and I'm an idiot. But I am a little worried when I get to around that weight too. Sounds like you know what you're doing, low carbs, and maybe drink more water? should get you a whoosh soon I bet it happens by the end of the weekend!
