175.4 this morning I stayed within WW points yesterday but I'm trying to get back on the fitness bandwagon. It always makes me feel so much more strong. I WILL at least take a 30 min. walk today.
So crazy how 3 days off has derailed me. (repeating to myself "stay on track, stay on track, vacation in two months, stay on track") hehe
174.8 this morning. I've been below 1st mini goal for three days now, so I'm gonna call it!!!
I'm definately a little nervous because a couple weeks ago, I lost pretty quickly, then gained three lbs over the course of 4 days. My weight flucuates so much day to day. I guess as long as the big picture is going down!
I'm just really happy to be on the other side of the 170s.
Well, I *was* down to 173 at one point last week... Weighed myself again on Monday and I was at 180 today i'm at 178 :'(
I don't know how i'm going to do this. is the weight going to come off, or am I going to have to resign myself to being an overweight and unhappy size 14 forever?
I went back up to the dark side of the 170s, 175.0 this morning. Nothing like Olive Garden to break the streak. I only had one breadstick, I probably used to have 3/4. And I ate 3/4 of the Shrimp Mezzaluna which has 630 total calories in it. I'm going back to JM 30 day shred today (which may hurt the scale). I've been walking the past two days, so i feel pretty good about that.
Prepared and Cosmic - 172 is so close!! awesome jobs.
Sirius, I know you said you were starting a hardcore workout program that burned like 800 calories a day. I know working out is definately great for you, but with water weight and muscle gain it can reign havoc on the scale. Diet plays a bigger role in weight loss, where exercise is better for health and can make you lean.
angiemama - keep trucking...the scale will move down soon
Turtle11 - I think you are sensitive to carbs That bread and working out prob made you gain water weight
Sirius Amadeus - don't beat yourself up. You may want to start keeping a food/workout journal for a month or so to see what is triggering your weight fluctuations.
So I got on the scale this morning and I am at 171 Hopefully I'll eat clean and workout and hit 170 on Monday
But I LOVE carbs.... booo *putting fingers in ears, and not listening to reason*
Down to 174.0 this morning (I saw 173 fluctuate!!). I didn't do the 30 day shred, but I did walk again for 35 min. So I kind-of have a delimma, I'm liking the weight loss that I'm seeing now, without working out hardcore.
To step up the working out, or leave it?
The scale has definately been motivating me, and I've been walking 30-45 min/day, and staying within my WW points.
Am I just trying to talk myself out of working out? Maybe...
I figure it may have been my diet; I don't usually eat meat (but i'm not vegetarian), and I think the cookout on the fourth is what did me in. So i've been avoiding processed foods and meat, trying to go back to my routine from this winter (and yes, cosmic, I was keeping a food & exercise journal before! Lol) and hoping my Monday weigh in shows progress of the downward kind
Hello everyone, back to 175 this morning, stupid birthday cake. What really bothers me, is that I was sitting enjoying my cake with little bites and savoring each one. Someone at the party started some fireworks and I scooped up the 2nd half of the cake in two bites and ran over to watch the show. ?!?!?!?! I'm going to have to do a little self-examination on that one. Summer is hard with all the BBQs and pasta salads.
Sirius - awesome job with staying with it. I think that is the hardest part with weight loss. You see the scale go up or hit a plateau and it gets so frustrating. GL on your weigh in.
Cosmic – I can’t wait to see your next number !!
