Checking in - my loss has been slower than it was the first time I did this diet, because I cheat more frequently. Not big cheats, but definitely a small cheat every couple of days.

Anyway, I'm down 5.5 lbs and my waist is an inch smaller. Getting ready to add exercise back into the mix TODAY. Heading to look for an accountability thread for that. Next big goal is the 30-pound loss mark (again) - 3 pounds to go and I want to hit it by Feb 1!

Hey everyone! Hope I can join in. I am 177 right now after ballooning up from 150 a couple of years ago. I am 29 so I hope its ok to post in here.
I am a sahm with a special needs daughter. My biggest problem is comfort eating. I have a lot of bad days and go to food to make me feel better. But I am sick of feeling fat and uncomfortable and miss my old body.
I am working out everyday and calorie counting.
Looking to lose a few before a March Wedding.

I'm back in the 170s after rising as far as 186 again. This time I'm determined and focused, though, and the 9lbs I've lost haven't been too difficult.

Today I'm at 177.5, and hopefully I'll tippy-toe down through the 170s over the next month or two.

175 today and half-way through the 170s! I'm starting to feel like the end is in sight, maybe sometime in April.

I'm new to the 170's. I haven't been here in my entire adult life.
Pretty excited. I'd like to hang a here a big if that's ok? I'm getting married June 22nd, so hope to be in the 160's by then.

Welcome to the 170s beachluvr, and congratulations on your wedding in June! What an exciting time for you -- and judging from your ticker I don't think you'll have much trouble hitting the 160s by then. Looks like your working really hard.

I can hear the sweet voice of the 160s thread calling us both. Bet we'll be over there before long.

177.3 this morning. Haven't been able to walk much on the treadmill this weekend. Too much going on, but plan to get back on it tonight! Gotta get my 270k steps by Sunday!!

I was 173.5 on Tuesday. I can't weigh properly on days I'm working early but I'm hoping to be another half pound down by Sunday.

Hello all! I seem to be stuck at 174 this week. Hopefully I will see 173 on Monday :P I have been doing so good with exercise and eating. I feel so good. I used to get so caught up in losing as fast as I could then burned out. But this time around my goal is next Jan for my 30th. I want to get to my prepreggie weight by then.

Hi Sun Welcome!!

So I'm starting to get nervous about reaching goal and maintaining. What's to keep me from gaining it all back? Will I have to be as obsessed as I have been about eating and exercise? This has been a HARD and emotional journey. Lately it has seemed like there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but will I always have to be this diligent? I feel like I need a physical and emotional break at the end, but can I afford to do that?

Just thinking out loud.

no I am serious Before I had my kid I used to love love love my body, Seeing it would encourage me to execise and skip a dessert or two. but i know its not that simple.

Made my 173 today -- Sun,hope you join me here tomorrow. At this rate all three of us will burst into the 160s together!!

beachluvr I lost 50lbs for my wedding in 2008 but didn't maintain and it all crept back on pound by pound. This time I'm trying to change my eating patterns to something I can live with longer term in the hopes that maintenance will be easier that way.
