I spoke too soon, I weighed myself this morning and I am now 169 exactly....WHOO HOO...I actually for 2 days atE what ever I wanted and then exercised..how that happened I have no idea..haha..back to my strict diet though YAYYYYYYY
Hey guys. Where did everyone go? You must have all already made it to the160's thread and left me here all alone.
I'm at 175.6 today. My Paris trip is next Thursday to take my daughter to Disneyland for her birthday. I'll be so happy if I could get to 15% minigoal of 173 by then.
I'm still here. I was at 177.5 this morning, but I never believe it until it "sticks" for a few days.
I've added in some weight training to my running/yoga. I've been bouncing around 179 for a long time so I'm hoping this will be the kickstart.
Forget 169, I'm gunning for 175... smiles.
Wow! I am new here and I love these group challenges! I just left the 180s yesterday (finally). Now I can't wait to get OUT of the 170s. I am praying to hopefully get to the 130s
I'm at 180 so I'm joining this group today.....this week I'm getting back on track after having a baby in February. I have 5 kids and I'm finally done! I know once I stop drinking soda, I'll go down. I have a wedding in October to be in and a 15 year class reunion in September. I need to lose something. As long as I'm at least 20 lbs lighter by then, I'll be ok. I would like to be 30 lighter though (or more ). Just wanted to say hi! I'm looking for encouragement and accountability.
I think I'm done with weight. For months now I've been bouncing between 177 and 179, I hit 176.4 this morning. I know the 160's are hard... so having so much trouble in the 170's is really disheartening.
I think I'm going to focus on fitness goals for a while, I did 12 miles + on foot last month and am going to increase to a goal of 15 this month and add 5 miles on bike (I live in a crazy hilly town, so I need to ease into it) and bump my yoga up to twice a week. I'm also keeping my one race a month (3k this month as a rest instead of a 5k)
I can already see a difference in my body as all the fat is redistributing and next weekend I'm going closet diving to see what I fit into again.
I'm still going to weigh, but it's not going to be my measure, it's just not working for me right now.

I wanna say I was exactly where you are and was on the verge of giving up. I got tired of bouncing from the same and not getting out of the 170s! So I just switched up my diet/exercises and now 173, I know by the beginning of next week I will be able to join the 160s group
So, just hang in there, don't give up, you may need to just change something, it can work. And gosh I know how EASY it is to pile it on and quickly and very HARD to get it off

Woot! Congrats!
And that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm not giving up, just regrouping (again again again) and and going at it from a different angle.
I just weighed in at 179.5 this morning, so this is my new home for a while!
The 170s are apparently where I am most comfortable since I have been there for most of the past 10 years, but I don't want to get too comfy... I'm headed for the 130s (I'm a shorty).
Hoping for mid-August to blast through the floor and into the 160s, if my losses continue to be ~2 lbs per week.
