170's - Anyone else battling them?

  • Hello ladies! I am back from my camping trip. I was harder than i imagined. I think I said "No Thanks" about 200 times and everyone still tried to shove food into my mouth. =( Why don't people get it?! You are trying REALLY hard to be healthier and they seem to line up to bring you down. >=( I got really mad a few times. Eventually I stopped being nice and practically yelled NO!!! GAAAAHHHH!!!! It is super annoying having people trying to derail you every second of the day. I am still pretty upset about it.

    But on the whole I did well. I think i might have gained about 1 pound but it was nearly impossible to measure the calories sometimes. And they cooked with BUTTER! I use pam = Zero calories, each dot of butter was 70 calories! I nearly fell over! I brought some food but not Pam spray or bread, even the bread was a lot.

    I think I won't be camping anytime soon… I can't go through that again.

    Glad to be back with my food and access to 3 Fat Chicks! I need it!

  • 172.4 this moring. My body must like this weight, since it has been hanging out right around here for about 1 week. If this keeps up my next wooosh might bring me into the 160's. The 160's sounds so good to me.
  • DollyMichele - I know the feeling you are having! Growing up in a family of "eaters" that is the common thing. Every time we get together its a battle. My family is quite active and fit for the most part but are used to having good food as well! Camping is especially difficult since everyone brings those lovely "camping" foods. Smores are my downfall. Just be proud of yourself for sticking to your guns and remember that they are not intentionally trying to sabatoge you, they love you just the way you are and have no idea the struggle that we face every day in this journey of weight loss :-)

    Envelope....I hear you! I have been back OP for almost three weeks now and am not seeing much change in the scale. FRUSTRATING! I sure hope that "woosh" comes soon, as I am about ready to hunt it down! LOL
  • 176 lbs this morning ... .... haven't really been eating all that great ... just less of everything .... and exercising harder but not longer ... I'm going to commit again to healthier meals.

    It feels good to have downward traction again.

    Envelope and Peaches - Hope it does come on soon ... patience and weightloss do unfortunely need to come together!!

  • Congrats Envelope! Please do send her this way. At this point the last three days I am stuck between 174.4-174.6, so I think that would be considered the "stuck fairy". She is only slightly more likable than the "upward fairy". :-)

    1.4 lbs in the next two weeks will put me at 15 lost for my cousin's wedding ...

    I am very frustrated. Coming off of the Depo shot is really screwing me up. That TOM has become ALL MONTH and I cannt seem to actually lose any weight. Staying OP and exercising. Beginning to get really, really frustrated. 176.2 As of this morning. Up from 174.4 last week. :-(

    Congrats Envelope!! That is awesome!

    Peaches - I know how frustrating it is. I have heard how the Depo shot can do some crazy stuff. My friend was on Depo & she kinda lost it mentally, not a good reaction. she had to stop taking it.

    I am traveling the next 2 weeks for my new job and trying to ensure I stick to my diet & exercise plan. so far I worked out but i still ate too much. =( darn. I am trying to stick to 1100 calories a day and I ate about 1500 today. well, tomorrow is a new day. I can do this!
