Peaches .. good for you ... your goals look great. Is Wallla Walla in Western Australia or America?... (it sounds like names of towns in Oz) ... forgive my ignorance ..

HMM3 - I started losing weight in mid June 2009. I joined here in July 2010. I struggle with weightloss during the school year although I am determined not to gain any weight back this year...last year I gained some back. I have almost another month before I start my new position, so I am trying to lose as much as I can before having to buy new clothes. I am training for a 1/2 in Sept, and a 10 miler in Oct. so that should keep me focused into Oct. Hopefully by then it will be routine for me.

Are you a teacher Envelope? I teach here in New Zealand .... we are having our winter holiday break ... and its back to school tomorrow .

81kg today... finally moving back in the right direction ... 178.5 pounds ...

Envelope - Walla Walla is actually a town in Washington State, USA. But hey, would love to visit New Zealand :-) I always get comments about the name of the town. We are famous for wheat farming, Walla Walla sweet onions (which are amazing) and WINE!

Sounds like a lovely place especially the wine .... I'm from a rural area myself ... although we are thoroughbred horse and dairy country ...

Many towns in New Zealand and Australia are similar sounding - using the indigenous languages ...

Oh, I'm glad I found this thread! I'm pretty new (second time around) and weighed in yesterday at 176.8 ... my body is a big fan of the 173-176 range, so I'm bracing for a fight over the next month or so!

I used to teach, and I admire all of you for sticking to your plans during the school year -- it's SO hard.

HMM3 - I am a teacher and I am working on a reading specialist certificate. So in the fall I am interning at one of my favorite local schools and taking a few night classes. Summer break ends at the end of August for me. I am excited about the new year, but I will miss having so much time to focus on me.

Peaches - I have always wanted to visit Washington.

I saw 179.8 on the scale yesterday morning and hoped I'd be here to see you guys today, but the evil scale took it back to 180.4 this morning. Sigh...

Envelope, I think we're going to pass each other again! I'm coming and you're staying 10lbs ahead of me and going. Congrats!

Hi ladies!

The last two mornings have been 175.0 on the scale. Thing is, my goal is to be at or below 175.0 by tomorrow (8/1) which is my official weigh in day. I am SO freaked out that I am going to jump above that 175 mark!

Well, guess I had a reason to be freaked out. 176.0 this morning. I mean really? WTH? Not happy. So in two weeks, with it being that TOM I have only dropped 1.2 lbs. I am SO frustrated!

After TOM finishes you should definitely see a drop It's inevitable and happens to all of us.

Peaches - There are times when I have very little losses over a 2 week period...then I get a very nice woosh. I hope the woosh fairy visits you soon!
